arkanae Posted May 17, 2014 Posted May 17, 2014 MixedupJim, Kain... First of all thank you so much for transforming the useful, but somewhat boring Submit into the endless source of wicked surprises it is now... This is, with DD, what gets me to play Skyrim. Now if someone made a good player sub mod... Anyways, I had a suggestion: the default surrender animation (hands in the air) looks quite a bit silly when the reason you are submitting is because you have been beaten to within an inch of your life... Could it be replaced (everywhere, or just for auto-surrender) with the Skyrim yield animation ( kneeling, hands over head)? This would seem so much more natural...
permidion Posted May 17, 2014 Posted May 17, 2014 I have updated to 1.6 with a clean install and still succeeded to kill my attacker again (in first person view) after submit was triggered :/
ll819 Posted May 17, 2014 Posted May 17, 2014 I have updated to 1.6 with a clean install and still succeeded to kill my attacker again (in first person view) after submit was triggered :/ If you use Immersive FP this won't be an issue http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/49036/? you'll clip through some of the animations which can be a bit odd, but setting up a freelook profile with the camera above your characters head fixes most of this.

I might gonna change it. Do you have the exact animation name? When I enter the bleed out effect my PC can't hit anymore. I wasn't even able to do one hit. How exactly did you kill him? Magic?

How exactly did you kill him? Magic? ah but that way before the bleedout effect! it's right at the moment my health get to the level set in Submit which trigger auto-submit (I have set it at 20% atm to play more-or-less nice with SD+) at that moment, you get the message "you are trying to surrender" (or so) and your character then play the "hand in the air" animation. so, exactly between the moment the message appears and the animation start, I can still kill the enemy that triggered the submit.
gederix Posted May 17, 2014 Posted May 17, 2014 I have a question: I am trying this mod for the first time, new game, not far along, and it seems to work pretty well but I am confused about something (tried searching, read quite a few forum pages but really not sure where to find answer and google was not helpful). I was on my way to windhelm (female toon playing as victim) and fought a bunch of bandits holed up somewhere along the way, got to the chief and he defeated me, so stripped, assaulted, then I was bound on my knees and shortly thereafter shackled into a device, chained suspended from a post with crossbars, etc, and what looked like energy crackling along the chains. Okay fine, so far so good I think, but Im not sure what Im supposed to do now. How do you 'struggle'? Ive tried various keys but I see no signs of struggling, I see a chance to be seen trying to escape tracking in the corner of the screen but it appears to run checks whether I hit any keys or not. But once Im noticed I am reassaulted, then rebound, then reshackled to device, rinse repeat, except when my captor seems to do nothing at all even when I am "noticed" it seems sometimes my captor gets stuck? Ive used defeat in the past but I like the concept of this mod (Im using progression version) but could never get it to work (submit in general I mean) but Ive done a complete clean reinstall and this was my choice. Any help/insight/direction would be greatly appreciated but I am getting stuck once captured and have spent several hours both in game and searching try to figure out whats what, so far no luck. Is there supposed to be struggling animations or anything like in alternate deviant start? How do I escape? Thanks!
Kain1978 Posted May 17, 2014 Posted May 17, 2014 That was problem too when I first started this mod. In order to free yourself you have to press the submit key By default it's num7. If you succeed you should be free. If not you character will receive a shock. Hope it helps.

zupra Posted May 17, 2014 Posted May 17, 2014 I have a bug where the npc goes to combat stage after the sex ends. He will not attack unless i turn on free cam or escape, but since he takes the combat stage he's just standing there and guarding the PC. This happened after i failed the first escape try, so first round worked like it's supppose to. Now i'm not sure if this will happen every time, i have to try out.

Player was able to hit and kill the victor if playing in 1st person it seems to be working fine (at least I havent been able to reproduce the problem so far, and I had quite some occasion already)

permidion Posted May 18, 2014 Posted May 18, 2014 sometimes, the attacker get aggressive immediately after the armbinder has been equipped, making it just impossible to escape far enough before being able to try to remove the armbinder.sadly I have not been able to notice any specialties which would differentiate these case from the other normal non-aggressive event end (it may, or may not, be related to what zupra said)
blackraven14 Posted May 18, 2014 Posted May 18, 2014 When you get your stuff stolen and you have the sell option activated, is it supposed to be sold instantly? It seems like it should be sold after a time period, like 3-4 minutes or so, so that you can just fight them to get it back, but if you escape and just leave it'll be at a vendor. Also, I have some stuff I need to find, where do they sell your stuff, the nearest city?
ragindude Posted May 18, 2014 Posted May 18, 2014 Updated to the last version and all I'm getting when trying to surrender is this: "Your opponent doesn't accept your surrender". Any idea what might cause this?

As I've mentioned I think it would be cool that your stuff automatically gets stolen depended on how many failed escaped attempts when bound, so lets say you failed 5 times and get shocked you pass out for a length of time.

Just tested it again and it worked for a while but then it happened again. What is the purpose of the "evil glare in his eyes" it doesn't trigger anything if you are bound, but i wonder if it fucks up the mod later. Now this has only happened with the casters, coincidence?

I know but that's not the problem, unless that glare triggers the problem at the next time. Ok this seems to work just fine after disabling the "punishment". I'm fine with that and i think it's actually better that way.
Kain1978 Posted May 18, 2014 Posted May 18, 2014 Changelog 1.63b: - Added support for black books in Dragonborn. Player won't die during bleed out effect inside a black book. Instead he/she gets ported out of the book like in vanilla DB. Installation instructions: Disable Autosurrender and enable it again. SexLab Submit + DD Progression 1.63b.zip
zouzou Posted May 18, 2014 Posted May 18, 2014 Hi Kain1978, I've got a strange bug with the 1.63 version, my follower is stuck in combat mode doesn't follow me but i can still use dialogue. Un installe AFT doesn't change anything but once I removed submit my follower act normally again. I used AFT as follower framework.
Kain1978 Posted May 18, 2014 Posted May 18, 2014 Do you use auto surrender? What threshold and success chance did you set up?
