However, in my game after I've edited the courier dialogue. The courier does show up with glitched dialogue, but the problem disappears after fast traveling to another city which makes the courier respawn with the correct dialogue.

I'm sure you could replace their character models with adult women, or even teen bodies and say they're 18. Their voices would sound weird, unless you redubbed the dialog. Which you'd probably have to do if they are to become your twin slaves. *GASP* That means we could have forced twincest!!! Omg please do this!

[/quote'] I haven't looked into it at all, I must admit. I just saw a discussion on beth forums to the effect that editing vanilla dialogue broke stuff in 1.6 and I assumed that would be the problem. This might sound simple but can't you just duplicate an existing courier -___- Oh yeah. Thought about doing it to. But it's not quite as simple as copying the model or the quest. Which isn't to say that copying just the quest and giving it all new dialogue wouldn't work' date=' of course. I might do that yet. For the record, I've spent this afternoon trying to get the objective compass to point at the Jarl (and failing dismally) and writing up scenes in case the PC decides to help himself (or herself) to seconds (or thirds) of Bonny Teija after Saravyn departs. Top of the task list: [list'] [*] The courier [*] The abolitionist fork - release teija and escort to the Jarl. I'll make that a separate quest, I think. That needs some "thank you" dialogue from Teija, and a fresh set of (rather simpler) Jarl dialogue [*] Clutter in Valtheim Holdfast. [*] Bandits in same [*] Navmesh adjustments after adding clutter. [*] Lighting and optimising If I can get that lot done, I'll release. Actually, I don't really need the courier for this first quest. He's the lead in to SSG02 and SSG03 really. Things that are not in, and probably won't be in the next release. Sex. Rape or capture, PC or NPC I must admit, I'm happy at the moment writing little sex vignettes for the scenes and pushing on with the questline, but there's going to come a point where all that writing becomes wasted effort. Sometimes its nice in storytelling to have humble beginings and then be forced into a terrible situation that forges you into something stong. To put it another way, I don't like all my heroes to be just that from the start, sometimes strating out trying to be just a farmer, villager, or such, and I know i'm not alone in that. Would it be possible to have a short, alternate, way of having the PC enslaved in a relatively unexpected but normal setting? Like being offered a drink and waking up in chains? Perhaps a loanshark who will offer a PC what seems to be a good loan, only for the payments to get steadily more difficult to pay off until he has his men grab her? Something that a typical citizen could stumble upon in a city. I'm fond of Sapphire (http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:Sapphire_%28NPC%29) and how she effectively lived through bandit slavery for a couple of weeks in the lore. I would be nice if, though a modest start, we have our 'rebirth' happen in much the same way.

(and conversely extreme pleasure as a reward for a convincing act)

Speaking of progress, I have Valtheim Holdfast almost ready. It's been cluttered; re-navmeshed; populated; lighted; optimised; and portaled. It's starting to look pretty good: http://imgur.com/a/sAmte#13 There's still some tweaking left to do. The ambient light is a tad on the red side, and there's some bad shadow striping with some of the lights. Also I need to sort out the animation so I can make Teija stay tied to that table. After that I still have to sort out Teija's idles, add some dialogue for her on being rescued; some dialogue for the jarl on returning her to Whiterun and probably some conversation for if the player wants a bit chat on the way home. Might be nice to let the PC give the poor girl something to wear as well... Why are we not having sex right now? Being marched in as part of a slave caravan would be good, too. Have the PC woken up to cries of "raiders! raiders!" and run out to see bandits arriving. The PC has heavy negative damage mods, so all she can really do is beat helplessly at the bandits chests while they pillage burn and rape. Trouble is, it really begs to be the start of a quest. That and maybe double ended strapons should be enough to keep 'em motivated when you deliver to the client. You and Doc for his awesome work? or in the mod when its released? All it would take would be a basement, a well dressed scumbag, some thugs, and then after failing to make ever larger payments a knockout and transportation to a bandit camp or somesuch. I certainly wouldn't ask you to make anything too big. It is the just the concept of being enslaved in a city/town as a 'normal' person. Being forcefully sold into slavery to pay off an unfair debt sounds par the course for the setting. Plus it can happen to anyone, and you could avoid it just by not borrowing from the NPC.

I'll change the link on the front page when the gotchas are removed. This release: Quest: Damsel In Distress Valthiem Holdfast Rape Teija and lie to the Jarl OR Free Teija and claim the bounty. No Sex, the table tie idle is broken Also the lighting may be a bit much for some machines. Let me know how you get on Coming soon: I think I may be close to sorting out the animation issues.

The trouble is that you can only have one of them going at a time. And if you're high level there's five possibilities it might run through before it gets to the quest. Would folks sooner have this handed out as a separate topic? I wanted it to blend in with vanilla skyrim, but if it's going to cause problems I can always change it.

[/quote'] It would be smoother but I think the blending is a good idea personally, keep it for now at least, just add it to the description if you could that its the case

If you go in before that the scripts won't work right since most of them depend on the quest being at a certain stage. So you need to go see hulda and get a bounty quest. If you've already got one running for whiterun, you'll need finish that first and get the bounty from Dragonsreach. Then you go back to the bannered mare where Hulda should have another quest for you. If it mentions Bonny Teija in the description, you're gold. If not, you'll need to go kill another bandit/forsworn/giant/dragon/whatever and try again. The process is random, but it does all the eligible quests before giving you another one of the same sort, so you shouldn't need to go round the loop too many times. It's faster at lower levels, since most of the bounty quests aren't available then. [edit] My apologies, I find myself locked out of the place now. Obviously there's a bug in the unlocking. As a workaround you can open the console, click on the door and type unlock
deadmetal Posted June 22, 2012 Posted June 22, 2012 I also noticed another bug potentially, after doing a number of bounty missions and Hulda finally offers me the quest, there is an additional dialogue option '...' When pressed I presume it throws in Bonny's dialogue out heres an image Not a major bug at present, but it exists non the less I'd mention the door but thats been covered already, most of the lights are well placed but some on the stairway down to the cells could be pushed into the wall a bit more to look slightly better but aside from that its great. Just a suggestion but perhaps the bandit chief could have a key to the door Bonny is behind for those who lack the lockpicks or the skill. Also the DTSG option works for the most part unless you speak to Bonny again, in which case it acts as if you rape her, not to mention her dialogue is replaced with the jarls completion dialogue As for the SG branch it works pretty well up til Balgruff, the quest doesn't complete on talking to him and remains in the quest log. Edit: All NPC's seem to share Bonny tija's dialogue option under the '...'
