[WIP] Skyrim Slavers Guild

Facial animations should not be part of the hkx animation file at all. Facial animations are handled by morphs, not rigging. The best bet is scripting mood changes in the actor values while the animation is playing, at least until skse gives us the ability to call the phonetic expression morphs with some kind of play command. Barring that, we could record phonetic audio sounds to create facial animation which could be called as misc dialogue while the animation is running. The swoon following my mod's hug animation is done this way. An idle is played at the same time audio and an expression are played.

Not that easy ^^ For some stupid reason Papyrus (the script language) doesn't have equivalent functions of many console commands. You can't enable tfc or tcl or directly force an AI package and do many other things with scripts. Even though the game can TOTALLY do them!

 

The first rule of skyrim modding: if it sounds logical you can count it won't work n_~

Not that easy ^^ For some stupid reason Papyrus (the script language) doesn't have equivalent functions of many console commands. You can't enable tfc or tcl or directly force an AI package and do many other things with scripts. Even though the game can TOTALLY do them!

 

You can get at the console commands with SKSE, but it's a right pain. You can insert characters into the input buffer, so you can use ~ to open the console and then send characters, one at a time. I don't know if prid still works to select tagets though.

 

The trouble is it's slow and the console stuff is visible which is a bit naff. Behippo has promised to give us access to any console functionality that isn't already exposed, and I've specifically asked for per-reference clip toggling.

 

I didn't know we couldn't go tfc in papyrus, but that would be a good one to request as well I guess. Might be a good excuse to remind him about the collision toggling as well.

Spent most of the week rebuilding from scratch. I've got a layout for valthiem holdfast, hulda gives the opening quest, the quest marker follows teija, you get the rape scene (albeit text based) and enervy appears to offer the player a place in the SSG.

 

... and then the ugly bugger gets stage fright and refuses to say a word, which is why there's not been a release this week as planned.

Doc, do you have things that need to be done but can be done by total noobs?

I might be able to make some basic levels and npc's?

i played around in skyrim. forced marriage, slave or pc get sold or married to i npc male/female dont matter. a sort of enslavement. just a small thought.

I hate to turn down offers of help, but until I can merge esp files safely, there isn't a lot of scope for collaboration.

 

That said, it would be great do have someone to do some cluttering and nav-meshing.

 

Maybe I should look at that version control again. Let me get this damn force-greet problem out of the way, and I'll see what I can do.

Side question (assuming this isn't just me):

 

Why is it that when a post starts a new page in this thread' date=' the page isn't available until there are at least two posts on the page? Does it have to do with the size of the thread, or because a comment was deleted somewhere? More importantly, is there a way to fix it or is there a way to view the comment without making another post?

 

I tried to just let it be, but it's happened a couple dozen times now, and if there's a way to fix it or a way around it from my end, I'd greatly appreciate knowing.

My favorite master/slave dynamics are usually strict and forceful in the beginning, but much more loving and affectionate as the slave learns their place and the bond grows.

It's me again with another suggestion and I hope it isn't already mentioned and like most of my others and isn't impossible. I'd like to see a change in the world as the quest line continues, unlike vanilla quest lines. Maybe start with a slave or two for bandit leaders in the beginning of the quest line, but later, most bandits have slaves and maybe (might be impossible, idk) have less female unnamed npcs spawned (like random guards, farmers, or bandits) because more have been made into slaves. After legalization of the guild, maybe start with only Jarls and wealthy merchants having slaves, then regular merchants until at the end of the quest line, even lowly workers could have a slave. Maybe I'm going too far, but perhaps priests could eventually accept slavery and buy slaves of their own. Another thing would be to see slaves that you sold in the ownership of some other person. (I'm sure the Battle-Borns would love to show off their Grey-Mane slaves.) This would just be nice for immersion, unlike how when you complete Dark Brotherhood quests, all that changes is that you hear a few rumors being spread.

I missed the edit before. I was generally thinking in terms of general patterns of evolving relationships rather than master-slave romances. A romance mod, done right, is a lot of work in and of itself.

 

That said, given a general framework for evolving slave moods, it mightn't be too hard to add some customisation for named slavegirls.

Maybe not everyone... if we double the population of Whiterun, we'll probably see lag. Still it would be nice to have slaves being a bit more obivous.

 

Maybe we can replace Belethor's servant with a naked slavegirl, for instance. I'm sure Whiterun would be improved by having her carry the wood all over the place. Maybe have some of the now-unemployed servants get a job with the guild.

If women are treated so bad, I would expect some of them fleeing into the wilderness and setting up refugee camps. These "women only" camps would make up for the fewer bandit women ... :angel:

For female PCs escaping slavery, these camps could serve as safe spots.

I am interested in the crawling animations + get on all fours, is it already in the current alpha? I kinda want to try and make a doggie follower that is not of the canine race :P

True. There should probably be some militant abolitionist camps in the event of a guild win. They could act as bandits, in a fairly robin hood sort of way.

You and me both. I've been looking at things like enchanted dog ears that force the wearer to crawl. Be a while before it happens, but yeah, definitely.

It's not just you. The quest wasn't in the last release - it was more of a proof of concept for the slavery part of it.

 

The quest-line _will_ be back for the next release. Which will be just as soon as I can persuade Enarvy Saravyn to stop being such a big girls' blouse and actually say his lines when he hits the spot.

Not really, sorry :)

 

Next release should let you rescue Bonny Teija (or not as the case may be). One after that I'll look at getting the PC and NPC capture mechanisms in place. One after that, will do the radiants and Secunda's watch again as a dungeon. And the one after that we'll see about a player slavery sandbox in SW.

 

It won't really be until we get that far before the mod is generally playable. Up until then, the releases are more for testers and discussion than for end users.

as far as the 2 partner anims... you have to remember that there are two ways to animate or create the interaction, the first is via the game using the skeletons placement and various tricks to make the CK behave like its supposed to with short animations, the second way is to have the whole thing animated with no deviation or change to control during the encounter.

 

its all about how you want to control the experience and whether you want to do something the easy way or work at it and make it a more PC controlled event.

It's totally not on topic right now but I was just playing Saints Row 3 and it totally caught me by surprise with a cute (and WAY too short!) PONY CART CHASE sequence xD

I couldn't even focus on shooting my pursuers because I couldn't breathe!

 

But anyways! it reminded me that there were ponyplay ideas posted here. I didn't care about it then but after this I want ponies EVERYWHERE! Please it just needs to be brought to skyrim! ^^

Damn, I got to play that game sometime. It looks too silly for words. You know, in a good way.

 

Ponygirl training will definitely be cropping up at some point. Probably probably optonally, since some folks felt pretty strongly anti when last the subject arose.

 

I was talking about pony training just yesterday as it turns out. I had a particularly nasty piece of equipment in mind:

Can't say it's one of my fetishes, so I wouldn't be bothered if I didn't see it, but it could be a little on the dull side for myself (and others like me) if the PC was required to train ponygirls. I wouldn't be put off by seeing them or having quests to go get gear for another trainer to train proper ponygirls or having actual ponygirl training being an optional quest I could skip, but being required to invest any significant time in training girls in a specific fetish I don't indulge in before I can advance the plot would be a bit frustrating.

 

All I'm really saying is "yes, please" to the optional bit.
