The peaceful effect is done with factions so I probably just missed whatever action these guys are in. John Redguard over here must be in some faction other than bandit. What was the mages name?

The mage is the one eastward along the road from Morthal where an encounter with a mage and couple bandits fight. Can be a fire mage or conjurer random I guess, These Redguard and Orc are from tentacle god vanilla quest where their juices needed to be gathered

I found the mage faction but those random adventurers dont have a faction associated with them so not sure what to do there. Usually try to avoid editing vanilla game stuff but might just have to edit the template they all use.

I just tried it and was able to get to Adrienn's task with the gag on just fine. If you actually can't get to their normal dialogue with the gag on you might have another mod doing something there? Although if that were the case I am not sure how you would ever have finished the blacksmiths task in the first place.

Not sure, no.  I could never get through the dialogue, it just gave me various forms of 'mmmph' and then they would tell me to try again; the most I've put up with is 4 or maybe 5 attempts though before giving up as I assumed it was a hard stop to any dialogue after that.

 

One small thing, possibly due to Cathedral weathers but it is always snowing and a tad dour in the secluded valley.  I don't know if there's a simple setting you can switch, but some nicer weather would be appreciated.  But again, this could just be an issue with my weather mod(s).

I can add the dialogue to him as a failsafe but it would be nice to know what is causing that.

btw by Scrabs Papyrus Extender do you mean Kris's Papyrus Extender caz thats the only thing that i could find when i looked up scabs

so i got the intro guy to talk to me i dont know what i did to fix it i just waited a day. (not ingame like i went to bed irl and started up skyrim the next day and it worked) but is a quest supposed to start i tried walking to where the curoir said but no ork was their to greet me. Im also not given the boots

The dialogue is annoying (that's the point) but it isn't completely random and once you figure it out it is a bit easier to get through. Somewhere earlier in the thread is the explanation of how it works.

 

As for the weather I don't think it's your setup, it snows a lot for me too and was eerily silent sometimes. I think it's because I never setup a region so it was using whatever the default weather and sounds were. I copied the weather and sounds from the areas around Whiterun so there should no snow and a bit more sun now.

Yes that is the right one, I think they changed it's name at some point, or maybe I used their wrong username.

You have to walk up to the door. 

 

Honestly couldn't tell you what is wrong. The scripts in the intro are really simple and I can't replicate the problems and have no idea how they would even break.

 

Could be you have way too many mods or a bad mods that are causing script overload or something like that. If you have a papyrus log from when you talked to the courier that could help.

I remember in one of the earlier builds when I was looking for the missing assistant and got attacked over and over by random dragons, werewolves and other things. Never posted back then as a bug or anything cause I just figured it was some other mod adding extra encounters. Or things that edited NPC AIs 

 

Long story short, I have too many mods and blame my problems on myself

The original way I pacified enemies for those quests was by adding the player to the captive faction and some of the enemy ally factions, which works for the common enemies like bandits, creatures, and draugr, but didn't work for some of the rarer or more unique enemies, like the random hostile adventurers you can encounter on the roads and your werewolves.

 

I've added a new pacify effect to the player during those segments which should work to pacify any of those weird enemies that aren't part of the ally/friend factions. I've also disabled dragon attacks during enslavement.

 

In short, issue should be fixed next version.

Probably for the best, as funny as roundhouse kicking a dragon to death with pony heels could be.

 

"Woah there, keep six feet back from Dovah at all times."

On another note I did run into one weird bug. During the parcel pony quest. I was tasked with taking a package to Rogdul. Who according to the map appears to be in an interior space north of Hamvir's rest up by Whiterun. He is of course still in the lesser stables, and I'm guessing that's just the location data from whatever cell you copied to make the lesser stables. Because opening the map inside of them does show you as being at that location.

So i fixed the issue you have a lot a papyrus scripts running for the mod and some can bug out due to even a "light" mod list like mine (350 mods) these 2 mods fixed it and i would recommend having it in the recommended mod section

It's good that it works but I still think it's probably something going on in your modlist since most of the scripts for my mod don't do much of anything until you are well past the intro. I know a couple people including myself tested on a barebones modlist and never had problems with script overload.

 

Who knows though. I can add papyrus tweaks to the description just in case.

I noticed the map marker thing too but no idea how to fix that. I tried to set it up like bloated mans grotto or dayspring canyon where the worldspace will use the same world map and player location but no matter what I do the player marker always just gets dropped in the center of the map like that and all the icons disappear. Whats even weirder is if you teleport to the stables it shows the proper player location on the map but the minute you step outside it bugs out again.

 

EDIT: Turns out I DID fix this but my dyndolod patch was overwriting the changes with the old worldspace settings. Oops.

Hello !

I have an issue during the plowing task.
I got stuck and Rogdul is telling me to push. But the issue is: he starts counting when i'm on the ground. So I can't prepare the forward push, making me fail in chain, as I trip down continuously, putting me in an endless loop.
Can you help me please ?

Silly question, but are you pressing the forward key after he gets to one? He usually does start counting while you're still on the ground but if you ignore the animation and just go by the countdown he speaks it should work?

 

Is he just constantly telling you, you aren't trying hard enough? Or is he saying you're using too much power?

 

The minigame is basically just a guess the number style puzzle. So if something is interrupting it you'd always be "Using too little force."

its not that your mod by itself is to paprus heavy its that if you have other mods the run papyrus a lot like being female. milk mod economy and other mods that check things every no and again can cause a script overload making things not run. yes its my modded game but i know others are getting the same error

Someone mentioned this before and I meant to fix it but forgot. I can add something to the scene so he wont start counting if you're still on the ground.

I found some more bugs.

 

Adrienne's free roam task

Very minor thing, but when you're outside in Skyrim during Adrienne's free roam task, you have the dialogue option to offer help to ANY NPC you talk to.

 

Gate memory game daily task

If you enter a gate from the side without totems during a normal sequence with no modifiers, Sondant says the wrong line. She always says "You need to listen Dovah! I said enter the side WITHOUT the totems! Come back!", even though I'm supposed to enter the side with the totems. I don't think Renna has that issue.

 

Another thing I noticed is that the timer to assume the presentation pose is incredibly tight. If I stand still for even just a second before assuming the pose, Sondant hits me with the "Not counting that one!" I want you to present yourself nicely when you're down there before me Dovah!". I think making the window a bit more forgiving would be better.

He is saying pull harder all the time.
But even if I don't touche the forward key, I fall on the ground.
Right now I'm completly stuck, I don't succeed to do the mech, and I can't progress, I'm in an endless loop of fail :(

Also a question: Does anyone know if KS Hairdos SMP works as a replacement for KS Hairdos?

 

I am pretty sure only the regular version of KS Hairs will work, the smp version has different models and headparts involved. You can still run both if you want but only the normal version will be used.

Dialogue has been fixed and I will see about the delay before the pose is checked. There already is a delay added there but it must not be working correctly.

This should be fixed in the last testing release. Should be out in a day or two.

Great mod! 

 

There are a few things i noticed; I realize some of them may already have been posted.

 

1) Not sure if the "invisible" cloak/shroud is supposed to be "up" when sent outside to find the courier about the missing letter. But if so, then you may want to take a look into assassins. My toon was attacked by an assassin on the way to Falkreath.

 

2) Mail courier quest: the first guy in Falkreath sometimes gets stuck after delivering and just before assigning a new target "what to do with you...". 

 

3) During ploughing, are you supposed to be changed to this wonderful yoke you made? That did not happen in the one time I saw that in my game. She just had to plough in the armbinder.

 

4) Not completely sure, but I think my toon was originally awarded the hood for very good performance, because it would help her sleep better. Next day she did poorly, and so she had to stay outside for the night. She still got hooded, but this time it sounded more like it was done for punishment. (I may have read something wrong, however).

 

(edit: about the scrabs tweak mod)

It used to be called scrabs but at some point this was changed to Kris-Papyrus-Extender (this is the name in Vortex). There is a comment somewhere on a Nexus forum about this change - don't remember the reason for it.

Thanks! I thought it would be fun to see Renna's stable of girls grow while the PC goes about their own ponygirl journey. Then I thought "why not have it be some yuri fun? "
