redvermillion Posted April 4, 2014 Posted April 4, 2014 Or what I did... Just export the PSD file as a standalone texture. And point the 'seperate' labia mesh to the standalone texture. This way you save both size and space for rendering purposes. And you get the labia textures. Integrating into the body is only needed if the meshes were put together. I don't understand what you mean by point to a mesh or point to a texture. Are you guys using a program to do this? If it's nifskope, I can't use it, it always freezes on startup for me. Is there another way to get the labia mesh to fit the UV map without overlapping the textures?

Though in all honesty, you should try to get your nifskope fixed or make sure your using the latest version.

Yeah, I don't know what version of nifskope I have, I downloaded it recently. I am not for certain what it's supposed to do. I tried following tutorials, but the program never works, it always freezes, not allowing me to hit any buttons. I have Blender (because I like to practice modeling people on my free time) but it's not the right version that supports nifs. Anyway, nifskope is for another topic so I'll try Outfit Studio. Thx. edt: After working on this for several hours, I am quite stumped. I got the texture to load in Bodyslide and OS, but not in the game. I made sure all of the file paths are correct which they are and I changed the file paths in OS for the appropriate channels which they are now correct and I can see the texture in Bodyslide and OS but in the game it shows up white. I have no idea what is going on and I can't find an answer on how to fix it on the forums. Any help please?
blabba Posted April 5, 2014 Author Posted April 5, 2014 Make sure you uncheck smooth seam normals and stuff. If it doesn't work after that then I have no clue. It could be possible that your shader flags are incorrectly set, for which the only fix would be to get juvenile to set them correctly.

Yeah, unchecking all of those boxes didn't help, I'm still getting no textures. At first I wondered if I was saving the texture files as the wrong DXT5 format since GIMP has several different DXT5 formats. However, I've tried several and they all have no effect. I am quite disappointed. I chose this mod due to the genitalia being on this body since the realistic CBBE genitalia is not compatible with HDT. However, there's no textures for this mod, so it makes it rather pointless. I don't know who this "Juvenile" is but I don't have time trying to get a single mod to work. This is the first mod that I have had issues with, which is pretty lucky, but I am still frustrated to the point where I shall not continue on. Again, I have no time for this and I will have to find another body replacer that will actually work. That's the only problem with mods, they're either a hit or miss and this one was a miss. Sorry, but I will stop bugging you guys now. I appreciate the help, but it was fruitless in the end.

With changed pube texture color, finally i can make a pure red head amazon! And thats where my question begins . The only thing i miss is more hairy option for pubes. With you built in pubes, i can reach an awsome colormatch between hair and pubes hair. I have no idea what and how i should change to get the same results with the build in pubes. I never use HDT mod at this time , so may be i 'm not right if i told you to do this in your ".Nif Files": when all is done , you need to clean your works with a "crop to branch " command ( in "Scene root " at the top ). =bloc --> crop to branch and save of course. Now there are 4 different pubhairs here , i think it's too much , the Krista+'s mesh are made with too many polygons , it's not a good base to work. I found another mesh ( and not "stolen" from Krista+) , i will put it here as soon possible ( it's on another computer and i'm not in my home at this moment ) . I dont know i missunderstood you or i have other issues, so i just write down what i tried to do after reading your post. Copied the 4 pubic "nirtirshape" from your uploaded files and pasted to my custom skeleton's "0 ninode". Had the same results as before. Did the same, but before i saved the modification, i clicked to crop to branch "0 ninode" then saved. With this, the game crash almost instantly while the caracter just stand there like a statue (like i forgot ran fnis after installing a mod which requires it). Dont found yet another pubic meshes yet which looks more like a bush than a highly shaved variant. edit: HDT options close to my goal, but not covers wide enough and a slightly higher area. edit 2.0: "Did the same, but before i saved the modification, i clicked to crop to branch "0 ninode" then saved. " Runing fnis again fixed the crash, but the result same as before .

The "Block –––> crop to branch" function is there to help you has cleaned a ".nif" file after for example made a 'remove' instead of 'remove branch'. Thus, when any changes are made, if the file "., nif" is clean, there must not be under the file tree "scene root". In other words, when you open a file ".nif", in theory it does appear that 'scene root' and nothing else under it. Compare your file "femalebody_0" with mine and you will understand. In addition , this greatly reduces the size of the used memory unnecessarily by a '.nif' file that is not "clean" . Thats it, I have done anything other than to open your ".nif", to position myself onstage the"root", to perform a right click –––> block---> Crop to branch. This command is part of the tutorial of Nifskope, but too many people forget to clean their file when they have completed their work. Sorry but english isn't one of my native language. You can use my files without doing nothing else then rename them as "Femalebody_0 & Femalebody_1" i just clean your files , nothing else. Cheers.

The generated skeleton from bodyslider dont have that issue, its structure already looks exactly what you pointed out. Since i just tried to add parts from the above files, your modification not helps for me, but the information is useful. I should keep in mind that whenever i want to remove parts from a nif file. I found another "Pubhair" i think this one is also based on the "Krista+ mesh" but it's different : One thing i've found is that it's better to do some modifications only to one femalebody ( _0 or _1) after that just do a "copy branch" to the other nif ( _0 or _1) without doing any others adjustments !!! It's better to avoid some problems ( this works exactly like in Oblivion game ... and i much better known Oblivion). Another thing i found is to keep the same name , excatly the same "edited txt string" . At this moment i don't known why ? To minimize the size ( or the amount of memory ) used by these "Pubic Hairs" , sometime you could simply just add another duplicated mesh rather than a third and "t edit ---> transform ---> Rotation P = 180 " don't forget to "apply your modifications , even twice ... it's more sure. See exemple 1. Sorry , i'have no time this morning ( in Belgium) i will be back after 19 hours ( GMT - ) . This one is not so "bushed" but it uses onky 207 Ko ... so you can duplicate a few of them to make a large "bushed region) ... ( EveryBodies ???) @ Lendova Actually i 'm testing the Gerra6 "New Style clothing converter" : http://www.loverslab.com/topic/27557-new-clothing-body-style-converter-release-candidate-v072-3-30-2014/page-18?do=findComment&comment=744747 ... very interresting ... but for the tests i use an old computer ( with an old little Dual-Core cpu ) ... and the process use 100% of the CPU ressources so , i cannot do anything else on this computer when the process run. Later this night i will try a "mashup" with the fourth models ( and variants) i 've found. The only problem is that i actually use a Skeleton from the "Leito body mod" ( i 've posted a link a few posts above) because i test his beautifull texture ( nice look on the legs lower parts , the calves ...) it is based UNP and unfortunatly i test a few bodies but no one is an UNP family body !!!! I use UNP body on another computer. So i don't know if the result would match your Skeleton ... mine ( from Leito body mod) is BBP but i don't know if it support also the HDT System. Anyway i think the "pubic hair" has nothing to do with the HDT system ... Bye , "see you" later .
Duchess_Gummybuns Posted April 10, 2014 Posted April 10, 2014 Hey. I am having an issue with Bodyslide capabilities with this body... I use the newest bodyslide and HDT BodySlide v1.4. I adjust HDT CBBE Bodyslide to my Custom Preset. Tweak tweak tweak. Click Create Bodies. (Then SHIFT+Create Bodies for a back up.) Set to my Custom Clothed Preset, Build Batch, select all outfits, build. (*YAY! NO ERROR NOTE!*) Go back through selecting some clothes to view in the sliders for quality. Then I open the game but all the bodies are shaped like the HDTBody.nif default from the shape data folder but with weight scales. Even the outfits. I check the files bodyslide placed in my meshes, but they all seem to be mine. I have no idea what is overriding my stuff or how to fix it. I've scoured my data folder, replaced every femalebody_1 & _0. I'm at my wits end! And now I can't change it back it seems! I'm not very fond of the HDTBody default... The first 3 screens are ingame, showing the default body. The next 2 are screens of the body I want to have ingame. The very last one is an comparison of the bodies I want versus the default. (Femalebody_0, default, Femalebody_1
blabba Posted April 10, 2014 Author Posted April 10, 2014 Those are some subtle changes... All I can think of is try using MO (so you can see if another mod overrides it..) And make sure your skeleton is the recommended one.

Deedlit Posted April 10, 2014 Posted April 10, 2014 seen also if you CBBE where are your meshes dnt goes at wrong load order and another "cbbe" is overwrite that, like mine was : i got at one cbbe "Caliente Female Body Mod BBE v3" and another called " Calientes Female Body Mod Big Bottom Edition -CBBE-" , and both got meshes, so i saw the big bottom version of mine goes after the v3, i simple copied the meshes from v3 to big bottom and works fine now that for me.

hryh23k9823u Posted April 10, 2014 Posted April 10, 2014 I don't think HDT Body is overwritting your clothes, HDT Body is just nude replacer it doesn't touch anything other than the nude replacer and it doesn't have anything to do with clothes by itself. Batch-building your clothers and armors with or without HDT Body installed makes no difference. That 'HDT Body' default shape in shapedata is just the generic cbbe bodyslide shape, all bodies have the same shape so you can't assume is something related to HDT Body either. What HDT Body > Build body should make indeed is creating your femalebody_0 and _1 with your selected preset. Are you using a custom race maybe? If that were the case rembemer to put the generated bodies in the correct folder for your custom races. If that's not the case its very weird and I could only think that bodyslide is generating your body somewhere else that it isn't the correct folder. Check the creation date of the mesh with the folder open and build, the date should update to your current hour.
