Dreamer102 Posted August 5, 2011 Posted August 5, 2011 Just got GTA4 running again. I'm interested in getting the mods for it, but they're like 14 gb of data. I dunno... Trying to get a hold of "AvP 2010" as well. Looks like they finally got all the bugs out...
Guest Posted August 13, 2011 Posted August 13, 2011 A month ago I tried DA: Origins, got stuck in the fade, quit. Then tried DA 2, hated it. I felt unsatisfied and tried DA: Origins again with the Skip the Fade mod and I loved every minute of it. One of the best RPG's I've ever played and I recently completed it. I'm going to resume my game in Oblivion soon. One more thing... ENCHANTMENT!

Dreamer102 Posted August 16, 2011 Posted August 16, 2011 I am going to attempt to learn how to play "MineCraft" tonight. Hopefully it proves to be as interesting as Asheron's Call was so many years ago... Nevermind. Stupidest game I've tried in the past 5 months. I don't know how these youtube guys make it so much fun. Guess you have to have friends.
Stryker Posted August 19, 2011 Posted August 19, 2011 Oblivion (back to playing it after a while) NBA 2k11

koocamunga Posted August 19, 2011 Posted August 19, 2011 Here's a small list of games I fiddle with/play Need for Speed: Shift 2 (LOVE building and tuning cars and racing against others and their creations) Left for Dead 2 (Guns. Zombies. Ninja Swords. Chainsaws. What more could you ask for?) Homefront (Wonderful yet twisted storyline. Multiplayer is pretty solid as well) Duke Nukem Forever (Hail to the King baby) Oblivion (duh) I play alot more games than this but there are what I've been playing the most recently
chukkake Posted August 20, 2011 Posted August 20, 2011 Been playing a lot of Bastion lately. Game's given me more enjoyment than most $60 releases, and it was only $15. Best soundtrack I've heard in a while, too. Narrator's voice = . Other than that, some Oblivion here and there, little Mass Effect 2. Occasional bit of Dead Rising 2. Waiting on Human Rev to release, preloaded it already.
DBSS99 Posted August 20, 2011 Posted August 20, 2011 I went back to "Age of Conan" because It is now FREE!!! Assassin's Creed II, Borderlands GotY ed, Viking: Battle for Asgaard, F.E.A.R 2: Project Origin, F.E.A.R 3 (this game is sick wrong, and I love it)
Dreamer102 Posted August 26, 2011 Posted August 26, 2011 Okay, after filing hard at minecraft...I resurrected an old game from the 90's "Net:Zone" Now that I have the files, I just have to get dosbox working (it's been forever) so I can play it...again lol.
LilDevil Posted August 28, 2011 Posted August 28, 2011 Playing Oblivion (more like take a screenshot and play something else) Minecraft is always a favorite that I go and play.....though I hate having to join random servers and would rather try and find friends playing it. Single play gets very lonely. I also am playing Daiteikoku, which so far is better than I expected.
polluxval Posted August 28, 2011 Posted August 28, 2011 -currently re-playing oblivion. -also i play thief sometimes, i love the 3 games but my favorites are the first two. the third one isnt that bad, the storyline its good but somehow i prefer the trickster over that ugly witch. -i dunno know, i do not play as often as before so i prefer to write on my project book and while bored i play some hitman blood money trying to get silent assassin on every mission for the 20th time. (im dying to see the new hitman but that will take time ) -i also play witcher assassin of kings, but i dont know why i get bored easly so im advancing slow. -sometimes when im in the mood i play left for dead 2. i love the zombie killing spree and i consider myself a zombie movie/game fan. (waiting for dead island )
Dreamer102 Posted August 30, 2011 Posted August 30, 2011 Playing Oblivion (more like take a screenshot and play something else) Minecraft is always a favorite that I go and play.....though I hate having to join random servers and would rather try and find friends playing it. Single play gets very lonely. I also am playing Daiteikoku' date=' which so far is better than I expected. [/quote'] Oh my goodness is minecraft LONELY!! I installed the "Millenaire" mod to add in some villagers and people and towns...but its STILL lonely! So I added the "Yogbox" modpack and now I've got villages, towns, townsfolk, a map with coordinates, underground random spawned detailed dungeons, floating dungeons ala Avatar, and more monsters. But I'm still lonely in single play. I think that sad music has an effect on me too... I play it every now and then, but I'm having more fun playing guitar and working on my new beater daily driver than playing games right now. I'll go back to GTA4, minecraft and whatever else I find in the winter when there's nothing else to do. Games nowadays really just suck. If Skyrim ever comes out I'll buy that and play it over the winter. At this point I don't think I can go back to Oblivion with it's constant framerate issues and lack of multi-core support. I miss it and try playing it...but 5 minutes in I'm just frustrated with the lag and turn it off.
HanPL Posted September 3, 2011 Posted September 3, 2011 Right now -Age of Conan (really great mmo ) -Splinter Cell Chaos Terrory -Oblivion (modding only ) -GIBO (hentai game )
Guest Posted September 4, 2011 Posted September 4, 2011 I've been trying out some indie games lately, the two most notable were: 1. Dungeons of Dredmor 2. From Dust DoD so far is great. It's a turn based rogue-like game but it amazingly barely feels turned based, so no micro-managing is really necessary. It has a large selection of varied skills along with perks gained through leveling up. The gameplay is great (although a bit repetitive, it still is very fun) with plenty of items and other stuff to keep you busy. Also, the game is absolutely hilarious! Item descriptions and other things are funny and clever. Also, there are a huge amount of references (sparkly vampire perk, anyone?) from different games and other sources. You will chuckle at the humor every time you play as the abnormally large eye-browed man. From Dust is a game where you use the power of a minor god to pick up certain things and place them somewhere to benefit you and your people. The people are the descendants of the Ancients and they are trying to find out what happened as they have no memories left. So you colonize certain areas once inhabited by the ancients and then pass through gate portals to another stage. The physics are amazing, water flows! Lava flows. If you influence the landscape so that it will block out a water's path downstream the water will collect up on the sides as more force is pressed onto them to get over or the water will just flow in another direction. The game is gorgeous as well and the tsunami's and volcanic eruptions are epic and ominous. I play on the PC so the controls are a bit of a problem. the mouse and WASD keys act differently from each other, and control sensitivity is very high no matter how low you put it. Also, the PC currently has a bug where you can't beat the mission "High Tides" the normal way as the tides never fully secede, making it near impossible to complete the mission. Both of these games are great indie games IMO. I'm thinking about getting Bastion, is it good?
Searinglich Posted September 4, 2011 Posted September 4, 2011 Bastion is probably one of the best games i've seen this year and that's saying something. If you can't take my word for it then take yahtzee's. Bastion and From Dust review
NightShade Posted September 5, 2011 Posted September 5, 2011 other than Oblivion, well, did play Dragon Nest awhile but stopped now. the one game that i keep coming back to is DotA
leddis3 Posted September 5, 2011 Posted September 5, 2011 Oblivion Fallout NV Phantasy Star Portable 2 Infinity World of Warcraft (I only play nowadays to support my raid, the current content design is absolutely atrocious)
polluxval Posted September 7, 2011 Posted September 7, 2011 playing dead island right now. amazing game.
Dreamer102 Posted September 7, 2011 Posted September 7, 2011 Well, I recently got a new game and rehashed an old one: 1. X-Men Origins:Wolverine (with undying hack) AWESOME hack and slash game. I'm having a blast playing through this one...though I know it won't have much replay value. 2. Deus Ex:Invisible War (With console cheats, 1.2 patch and texture pack upgrade) Having a good time running through this one a third time with upgraded graphics and on a faster computer. Gameplay is smooth and realistic and just the right amount of spy-moves that I was seeking. Now if only there was a grappling hook mod. I think I've given up on Minecraft. I feel stupid for paying 21 dollars to play that crap game.
