SexLab Solutions V2 BETA NEW 2014-05-27

Question:

 

I'm not able, actually, to become Thane of Haafingar (Solitude).

Even if I have already completed the two Potema's quests, the Torygg Horn quest, helped almost every citizen in Solitude, purchased Proudspire Manor and ....

"warmed Elisif's bed" three times.

During daytime, the dialogue about "My Jarl, do you need something other?" is no longer available.

 

Console checks on :  sqv Favor252  reports the quest is Stopped and (strange, indeed) already at stage 200.  Stages 10 and 20  (purchade the house and return to Jarl) are still 0.

The main issue of this situation is that I cannot have Jordis as Housecarl.

 

Is all this intended and will be solved after a lot of nights with Elisif or there is a bug?

Ehm, I really need some help or advice about my problem.

I didn't find ANY way to solve this issue, even disabling the mod, by now, didn't cure the broken (?) quest to become Thane of Haafingar.

 

Please, I wish to have Jordis into my "sex army". ;)

i activated this mod and so far nothings happening... i  cant tell if its working. has anyone had this problem? all my other mods are ok and i do have the 1.57 version of sexlab.. but activating this mod has done nothing in my game

 

First there is no mcm menu.

This entire mod is only added conversation options. (essentially)

 

Best way to test IMO would be take a carriage to riften.

If there is an option to give a blowjob to the gate guard who tries to extort money from you, you know the mod is working.

i am including my load order in a spoiler, and yes before you start on it i do realize its an unholy mess... x3 but for some weird reason this is how it works best, if i change the load order too much everything goes hay wire

Is that a manual load order or did you use loot?

 

It looks a lot like how loot would sort your mods.

I see you don't have the unofficial patches but that should not matter.

Only thing i can think of is that somewhere there is a incompatibility between mods somewhere.

If you use loot go into its settings menu and change debug verbosity to high and let it sort your list and see if that resolves your issue.

Tested on 3 characters and a completely new MO profile and still nothing.

I was using the solutions prison overhaul from farther back in the thread.

 

Also do i need to do anything specific. using the college start when i talk to enthir there is no sex for his store.

So I used Alternate Start - Live Another Life on my newest game because the carriage was flipping all over the place and then (after I nearly vomited from all the dizziness) it got stuck on the gate going into Helgen... and it kept happening so I finally just added in Alternate Start... even though I did the "crossing the border illegally" option which queues the vanilla opening (only with all your mods already loaded so less change of wacky stuff happening), when I got to Whiterun the sex dialogue wasn't present. That made me curious since Findout had reported that issue the other day and as I suspected, Alternate Start modifies the gate guard's dialogue and since BOSS and LOOT tend to load Live Another Life near the bottom of the load order, it would almost certainly conflict with Solutions for anyone using it.

 

Now, keep in mind it's the only dialogue conflicting so you have three options if you use Solutions and Live Another Life. You can either A) Live without that one sex dialogue and just persuade/etc the guard to let you in or B) Use the patch I'll attach to this post or better yet C) Merge this patch with your other small compatibility patches to save on plugin spots (if you're comfortable using TES5Edit and the Merge Plugin function...) or just look at what this patch does and replicate it in your own compatibility patch. As I said though only the Whiterun Gate Guard's dialogue is affected so it's not that big a deal.

 

Attaching both the Solutions - Live Another Life patch and a merged Solutions-PrisonOverhaul-LiveAnotherLife patch. So if you just use Solutions and Live Another Life, use the first patch. If you use Solutions, Prison Overhaul, and Live Another Life, use the second patch in lieu of the Solutions-Prison Overhaul patch I posted previously. Or make your own if you know what you're doing.

 

One of the things that causes the flipping wagon is SoS.  It's known to mess with the physics during that initial sequence with the wagons.  Most custom skeleton mods will also make it go a bit haywire.  And pretty much anything involved with FNIS will completely wreck that wagon sequence.  Removing the custom skeletons from the folder (and disabling mods that depend on them temporarily until you get past the scene) will usually fix the issue.

 

Out of curiosity, using LAL for the vanilla start, did you have SoS and any custom skeletons active?  And if so, the wagon sequence played through for you without any hitches?  I haven't tried doing the LAL vanilla start yet, so was just curious about whether or not it would work with these mods.

 

I'd also like to reiterate my earlier question about whether the dialogues for random NPC conversations such as with Ahlam and Nivenor are still in this version of Solutions, as they were the first.

LAL vanilla start with sos still bugs out but when i use that start it does not happen 100%of the time and only the carriage goes crazy the horse does not so after a nauseating roller carriage ride i still manage to get to helgen.

although sometimes the carriage sits weird which causes me to console mark for delete, save a reload in order to walk up to hadvar.

I think unticking the option to schlongify nearby NPCs before you start the vanilla beginning with LAL solves the crazy carriage issue.  Of course it's not much to just untick the mod in your load order until you get past that anyway.  It's not like you get much opportunity to have sex during Helgen...

 

I dunno though.  So far I've ran through the carriage start with LAL a few times just to test it out, with SoS installed, and haven't had the carriage go nuts.  Maybe the new maximum compatibility skeleton (available right here on LL) fixes the issue.  I had to install it because I use Dual Sheath Redux and some other weapon placement mods as well that I refuse to give up, so it's made to accommodate SoS and those mods.  But it seems to stabilize the ride using LAL for me.  Or maybe I've just been lucky enough not to get the tumbling cart yet.

The only times my pc has been able to become thane is by choosing the "My Jarl, do you need anything else" immediately after completing the Horn quest.  After that, as you've noted, the dialogue option disappears.  I think this is a bug in the base game, as it happened to me in my first playthrough with no mods.

You can becaome a thane without paying her even a single night visit.

It seems your game did not realise that you bought a house (maybe script lag or something). Did you get an quest update to visit your house?

 

Tested this quest yday wityh SS2 v14 and didn't have any problems there.

I visited Proudspire and got a quest update for the visit. After that the supposed dialogue with Elisif about "My Jarl, do you need something other?" and the consequent stages for become a Thane is totally disappeared.

 

I tried almost everything in my knowledge trying to solve this, probably mesiing up things the worst way.

I used commands like resetquest, startquest, setstage. No way.

The quest Favor252 results always and forever:

Enabled = no

State = stopped

current stage = 0

priority = 45

 

Using the "sqv" command I noticed there are not aliases for the quest giver, for the housecarls and some other vars are not set.

I don't know how to exit from this trouble.

Any help would bereally appreciated.

Usually the best is to make yourself new female char, go to riften and check available dialogue options on the guard that would deny you entry.

If you would have option to service him to let you pass then its working.

 

If you want to check it on char that already was in riften then pick some other event from the list in mod description.

Ive used the previous version of this Mod, aka Solutions v1. Removed it, cleaned it. However "Befriend Orcs" doesnt really work for me, unless Im not seeing something, which I literally am not.

 

Does it not work cause I had already befriended the Orcs with their quests?

I have a problem. I am actually in markarth, and i used the sexlab solutions to get weylin's key. However, after the animation finishes, my character is stuck. Cant move or do anything.

 

do you use death alternative? if so see if using its reset commands will help.

I know that it is not a DA issue but it can be helpful.

Example: one of the forgotten magic cryomancer spells causes a black screen 2% of the time (roughly) and the DA reset fixes it.

Alternately see if clicking the sexlab maintenance tab option for "end all animations", or whatever it is called, will help.

or try in console "epc" with no quotes
