Apachii Goddess Store Part 8: http://www.mediafire.com/?00je0f3m0mmj9aj

Everything in \meshes\armor\apachii\HGEC is done.

I was hoping to have the store completely finished by this point, and this release was going to be much bigger, but I suppose it was not meant to be. There is still plenty more left to do, and I'll be focusing on that for the next two to three months.

Alternate Jannet & Katrin Dress DL: http://www.mediafire.com/?74mysq44742ksoq

If it ends up getting blocked again, I'll have to use a non mediafire hosting service (I'm not going to bother banging my head against the Mediafire "Support Services"). While I don't care for 4shared, I may have to use that for a bit. If anyone would like to help me mirror any files to other (hopefully trusted) hosting sites, please do not hesitate.

Happy Holidays, and I hope everyone survives into the new year with just a hangover :P

Love you all.

Hope everyone else had a decent week. Had some company that wasn't all that wanted this year. I think they expected us to keep them fed (hell no). Turns out even my cat was stressed out. It's glad to have my basement back.

Anyway, two things I received was a new motherboard:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813131872

And a new processor:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819103962

Currently can't do anything with it, as I still need RAM (I don't have any DDR3), and I would like to replace my harddrives (I think one might be close to death, which would explain all the trouble I had a few months ago).

Looking at:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820145262

Two of these:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822136769

And something like this:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817986001

If I'm lucky, I won't have to replace the power supply, or get a new sound card, but it might also be time to replace my old GeForce 9800. I'm just not sure what to get :s Think I've narrowed the search to

PCI Express 2.0 x16

2 DVI ports (for Dual Monitor setup)

$150.00 USD or lower

Support for DirectX 11 (maybe)

Nothing massive in size

Any input is appreciated, otherwise I'll stick to impulsive decision making.

Is there a reason you are buying two 500GB drives instead of one 1TB drive?

You can save yourself a bit of cash: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822236339

Also, is the Vantec EZ Swap really need to be internal? You can pick up an external hot swappable hard drive docking station just as easily. I myself have one of these: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817153112 It can hold two hard drives (and use one or both at the same time) and is damn fast (eSATA if you have that capability).

Just something to further confuse, distract and bewilder you with....:)

I have always like Corsair for RAM. I have never had any issues with their products.

An internal would help reduce desk clutter. Plus, it's just enough to fit my current needs.

For a GFX card in the 150$ price range, I suggest getting an AMD/ATi card. While driver support is quite worse than nVidia, at that price range AMD/ATi cards tend to deliver a lot more bang for your buck.

If you're looking for something with a low power consumption to avoid changing the power supply, if you can go higher than 150$ I suggest a 7850. Pretty nice performance for a low noise and low power card. Be warned, there are 1GB and 2GB versions of this card. The good ones (and also more expensive, I'm afraid) are obviously the 2GB ones.

Otherwise, you might wanna go down to it's predecessor, the 6850.

Both will give you DirectX11 support.

Wow Thorazine I gotta say, I am amazed with the number of conversions you have. I don't play Oblivion anymore but I looked through the list and I gotta say, I'm impressed. I don't think I have seen anyone contribute as many conversions as you have. That's pretty awesome.

Also http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814130629 $20 rebate

http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814102993 $15 rebate

I didn't know where to ask this since the thread "is there a mod that..." is in the non-adult section. Is there DMRA mod which adds stockings? Stockings as one piece only for legs' date=' not full set for whole body.

[/quote']

The "What mod is this" thread serves the same function in the adult section: http://www.loverslab.com/showthread.php?tid=119

If you don't get a response here, then try there.

Just as I had this post ready to go, the site went down (yes, I know why it went down). Good thing I was able to save it in a text document.

I knew a guy that was real hardcore about AMD/ATi.

The 7850's are just a bit too much, and I can't find much of a selection for the 6850. Thanks for the suggestions, though.

I've never really tried to draw all that much attention to how much I've done (beyond maybe a handful of posts), but as far as conversions for Oblivion go, it is quite a bit. It even amazes me that I'm still willing and able.

Took me a bit to realize I was looking at the Canadian site :P

First two are more in line with what I'm looking for. The third one, a little extra performance might be worth the extra cash? I dunno.

A bit apprehensive about the size of those things...

gregathit got to it before I could, but yeah, you can use the "What mod is this" thread. Or you could try the "Is there a mod that..." Thread in the General Discussion.

To answer your question, off the top of my head I'd say check the Apachii Goddess Store. Don't believe there's much of a selection, though. Maybe Tonas Mod Store (look more like tights to me :s). If you can't find anything, keep an eye out for any non-dmra stuff, and pass it on to me. Even though I may not be able to get to it for a while.

The Canadian and American Newegg are pretty much almost the same. Probably same price as well. And most products still come from America, even when ordered on the Canadian site. I think there is a warehouse in Toronto, but that's it, the rest comes from California mostly.

As for your video card, what case are you using?

Steel mid tower, dimensions are 20.3'' x 8.1'' x 17.5''. I'm sure the larger cards would fit (I somehow managed to fit a large, loud-ass heatsink in there after all), I've just never really handled them before.

Went ahead and ordered the RAM, 1TB hard drive, and the hard drive rack, and I was leaning to buying this till I realized it just went out of stock. Still not sure if I should even bother waiting for a re-stock, a decent card for a better deal, or not at all.

I am not much into ATI due to their horrible driver support. There is a GeForce 560 for $20 bucks more: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814121446 plus there is a $30 dollar rebate available that helps shave that down some.

If you are determined to stick with ATI the next step up card is: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814121651

Maybe one day' date=' but it won't be for a very long while.

All of my cards so far have been NVIDIA, probably best to stick to what I know, ya?

The 2GB version of that is the one I upgraded to when my ancient crossfire setup had a run-in with a cup of coffee (And that, children, is why a giant fan in the top of your case is a terrible idea).

2 Gigs because I like running way too many damn texture packs at once.

An anonymous user informed me that the download link for the video entitled "Maid for You" (Sexy Maid mod) had been deleted. Since that user doesn't have pm's enabled, link is updated. Thank you for the heads-up.

While I've been itching to do something, I haven't done any converting. Guess I've been a bit anxious to start on that "new" PC build. The last few parts are somewhere between where I live, and the state capital, so it;ll probably end up here on Monday, and I probably won't mess with it till maybe Tuesday (or whenever I can get my brother to help me). Eh, maybe I'll be able to get something done before then. We'll see.
