I don't quite understand how this works, imma be honest. Started from SS++: first time I woke up in a Zaz furniture with a falmer next to me, and a message popped up, something like "your owner was killed by falmer". Struggled for a bit, got Resolve increased by 1, fade to black. Repeat like 4 times until I got teleported out with the message "Your captors decided to let you go". Second time, Zaz furniture in a house, "Your owner was killed" message, struggled and managed to escape, went downstairs and talked to the dude in the house like nothing happened. 0 dialogue or sex in both cases

Hello, i'm having an issue maybe u will know better, the start work fine, but the captor never come, and no sex is ever starting, Every mod needed is there, Excpect the fact that Simple Slavery ++ is installed but no MCM and doesn't work at all it should be fine.

Thanks in advance if u help me with this one...

I tend to like Skyrim Unbound start over live another life it allows you to play as a non dragon born character and combined with The Choice is Yours and Timing is Everything makes it easy to not play the same quests over and over. Maybe you might be interested and make a start for that mod. There are several mods out there that do one on this site.

This is by design, because the DD contraptions have a mini game struggle so you have an option to struggle using the mini game or press Pick Lock on this screen and then you can just press the 'V' key again if you don't like the mini game.

Sometimes the scenes may not have sex, especially if you don't have MNC installed and are captive next to a creature.

It's random. A new game randomnizes captive locations and also depends on how many locations are available if your followers occupied them. Maybe in the next release I can add a button in MCM to randomnize without the need to start a new game.

Maybe you rolled the same scene 5 times in a row, but it's unlikely. Try starting a new game and check how many spots are available in the MCM. Also the random generator function is is in Powerofthrees. Check that you have the latest version of these installed:

Is the goal to make it a more local option? Like if the dungeon the player is defeated in they put the player there? I'm not sure how Acheron plays with something like:

 

-If player is defeated in applicable dungeon and space is available, send to local shackles.

-If not, send back to Acheron to roll something like Practical Defeat.

 

Or maybe it'd be more efficient to make it a post Practical Defeat event, but i'm not sure how PD recognizes location? I guess a rougher far off idea would be to apply to overworld bandit camps too, but as you said Captive Followers does use getting outside as its 'victory condition' so that'd be rougher. 

 

Yeah, I thought about it also. Maybe it could work like this, if defeated in the dungeon where you could be held captive then the defeat leads to captivity. I will try creating it and see if it works.

No, smashing it rapidly has no advantage vs tapping it in one or two second intervals. The only things that make a difference are MCM settings, resolve and luck.

Mod works partly for me. I am getting restrained in furniture but after the captor comes along and i either comply or not he will 5/10 times walk away and i can no longer use V to struggle but can just use E to get out of the furniture. Also no captor will become hostile and the mod still sees me as ''captured''.

 

Overal great mod idea/concept!!

Hi darkdesires04,

 

Great mod. Love what you're doing so far and very prompt with the patches. I like the toggle options you added for the blurr effects in the MCM.

 

I'll like to report a bug for version 1.0.4 :

After being transferred to Captive Player from Simple Slavery ++, I was robbed, working as usual. But after I retrieve all by stuffs from the robber, I didn't get any of my gold back. Is that suppose to work that way, all my gold is gone?

 

I also have a suggestion (nothing to do with the above issue), is it ok if you can make the fade-in from black quicker? It's taking so long that sometimes I worried that the game froze.

I use Simple Slavery Plus Plus 6.3.23 [SE] and work correctly

@darkdesires04 My understanding is there are 3 options for captivity to end: released, Simple Slavery, or POP.

 

After many captivities, I haven’t seen the POP option, I saw the Simple Slavery  option only once, and I got released every other time.

 

It would be great to have MCM options to choose the weights for the various captivity ends, or at least checkboxes to toggle them on and off.

 

It would also be great to have a new ending that transfers the player to a different captivity location.

 

And thanks for an awesome mod! ❤️

Just found out all works fine when i turned off the Sexlab option in the MCM.
