I like the mod, granted not a huge fan of slavery and humiliation, so I intend to use it to add tattoos to my followers. Is there a guide on how to convert racemenu overlays into this mod? The one I like the most so far is this one. Especially if it allows me to add the tan lines. http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/48705/?tab=3&navtag=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.nexusmods.com%2Fskyrim%2Fajax%2Fmodimages%2F%3Fid%3D48705%26user%3D2&pUp=1

Yeah, this started off as a RaceMenu overlay package of tattoos for slaves, and the name has stuck as it evolved. It's much more generic now.

Converting RaceMenu tattoos is easy. All you have to do is create the .json file and package them up. Follow the guide on the download page (the For Artists section): http://www.loverslab.com/files/file/619-slavetats/

Ah kinda thought that was what it was, I don't have either such program that can do that and I'm not the greatest with photoshop >_<

GIMP and Paint.net are free, but you don't need either of them to do a simple conversion. Just a text editor, like Notepad.

The Jcontainers issue seems to trouble me aswell, is there any way to detect which mod is using it without going through all of my mods? I modded skyrim several months ago and I have no idea what used what.

How do we know if/when you add new tatoos to the packs? Have you considered keeping a changelog for the individual tatoo packs?

The pack filenames include the date I uploaded them. If I upload a revised version of a pack, it will have a new date.

If you're using Mod Organizer, it's easy. Just double click on JContainers and look at the conflicts tab. If you're using NMM or installing mods manually, then no, there's no simple way.

I fixed JContainers problem by updating SKSE to 1.7.0.1 version (the very latest) and DLing JContainers from Nexusmods site (link in Slave Tats description).

Now it works.

Alrighty, seems like I have a fun day ahead of me. Thanks for the reply and for the mod.

I have JContainers 3.03 installed but this mod says i dont and wont work

Most likely, like the others who are having similar problems, you have another version of JContainers installed that was bundled with a different mod.

Edit: Or you have an outdated version of one of the other dependencies, which is disabling JContainers. SKSE is most likely in that case.

Upon updating, my character is completely white. No other characters with tats have this problem, only mine. When I go into the MCM, my name, or anyone else's, isn't registered. Even when standing right next to npc's.

It defautly comes up as my name at first, but i cant edit anything, it's all blocked out.

Jcontainers isnt an ESP, so how would we do this?

It's not an ESP, but Mod Organizer deals in mods of all sorts. Double click on the entry in the left pane of the main window.

Send me a Papyrus log, please.

You know, there's no such thing as JContainers 3.03 as far as I can tell. The latest version is 3.0.0

As for fixing it, download and install the latest versions of SKSE and RaceMenu (or NiOverride if that's your preference). Then download and install The latest version of JContainers (which, as I mentioend, is 3.0.0) and install it. Make sure you're using SKSE to launch Skyrim. If you still get notices of a JContainers version mismatch after that, it's because you've still got an old version of JContainers in there somewhere.

Alternately, you can downgrade to SlaveTats 1.0.3 for the time being, and go back to 1.0.4 once things have stabilized.

Any chance for the tally tattooes from the scrawl pack to be available on a character's back?

I could try making it myself, but I hate messing with UV maps, so if it's a really quick edit for you, I'll appreciate it.

Done. I've updated the scrawl pack.

Thank you very much!

*Edit* not seeing the file. The scrawl pack available for download is the old one (2014-7-20) and the files in it are name the same as before.

Sorry if this has been asked before, but is there any chance of increasing the number of possible tattoos? QAYL uses lots of slots, and I'd like to REALLY decorate my character!

Or is it possible for me to do something with the nioverride file?

Weird, not sure what happened there. I've re-uploaded it, and I see it in the list.

You can increase the total number of possible overlay slots in nioverride.ini, but that won't affect SlaveTats. SlaveTat's limit is partially just due to the annoyance involved in maintaining separate MCM code to handle each slot, but mostly due to the strain that overlays impose on the Skyrim engine. Each tattoo uses up several megabytes of video memory.

Ergh... dang. Okay, then could you point me in the direction of finding out how to copy some slavetat images to the Racemenu? That is, select slavetat images as overlays in racemenu?
