Total shot in the dark here, is it possible that "Can I talk with you" hangups when interacting with NPCs has something to do with DIN? I have a couple mods that affect NPC interaction, and it's this, RDO, Babo series, and probably a few others that I'm missing. I suspect it's not just one of them causing it and is instead a compatibility thing, which is why I ask.

The prompt is from DIN, however I'm to this day still not exactly sure why it only happens sometimes when DIN dialogue is initiated. The whole reason it's got some text so that you don't just get "..." in its place whenever it fails to instantly go to the comment that should be firing when the NPC is talked to.

 

How do you mean "hangup" though? If there's a priority conflict between several mods, then it's usually down to the conditions that which one fires, however that's just a shot in a dark from me, since I don't know what else you got installed or how do they work.

Ok even knowing it's from DIN is really helpful, so I can try moving load/plugins around just to mess with stuff. From what I can tell it'll often do it if they're in the middle of saying another line, whether voiced or silent from FRDoh, and then you like, can't skip the line as usual by pressing 'Can I talk with you', nor does it actually become functional even after the other line *should* be over, so you end up having to back out instead, and then they might do another idle or babo dialog/HH/Dcurses comment right after they finish speaking, getting it stuck again.

The version I am using is 1.5.97,and I can use the old mod version which is DeviousInterests_v0926a,but if I switch to the new version the mcm can not register.Already install all the required mods,DDNG,and  Scrab's Papyrus Extender.Is it because I am using 1.5.97 instead of 1.6?

That is exactly the reason. The mod was built with the latest plugin version for the latest game version.

Either update your game, or install additional plugins that bridge this limitation. Backported ESL Support might be what you need, but don't take my word for it, I never used outdated game versions that needed workarounds.

Would be nice to be able to configure bondage addiction rates for increasing or decreasing it, I've hit a max one in 3 days due to some other mods event equipping almost every device, and now it never goes down.

The existing "Bondage Addiction Gain Rate" setting in the config menu does exactly that. Whatever you set the gain rate at, it'll decline half at that speed.

I know, though I was thinking more about being able to adjust the decay rate and being able to see how much you have accumulated

Аfter switching from version 0.925 to 0.933 NPCs stopped equipping devious deivces on PC. My character gets undressed and that's it. I am using DD NG 0.3.7 because I've been playing on this character for a while and don't want to start a new game to update DD NG to current version. May it be the problem? Should I fall back to 0.925?

 

Upd: Also when NPC tells me "Here's something for you, just leave me alone", I also get nothing

You cannot do that on an ongoing save and expect anything to work, there are fundamental differences in mod starting from 0.93. If you want to use the current version, a new game is required.

Oh, didn't know that. Thanks for noting, I'll just switch to 0.925 then.

The safest bet would probably be showing you values in MCM since it is currently very clear what your level of addiction is from all these status effects, but not with values. Unless you plan to hide it under a single status effect, though clear values would still be more informative.

As I recall, you should be able to update to 0.926a safely, at least.

I'm thinking of adding a 'Status' page to the config menu for all this info, like this one and event cooldowns and the like. Definitely useful for debug if needed, but I need to plan it out further, because I don't want players just waiting out the cooldowns based on that :P

Prostitution feature is one of my favourites. Would you consider an integration for Skooma Whore and Addicted?

Allow the PC to ask for skooma as a reward and block asking for anything but skooma if they're addicted and suffering from withdrawal effects. This is one feature I'm missing from SL Survival and so far no mod has a similar feature that replaces that functionality.

 

Most of my characters end up as junkies (mostly because of "force drugging" in Defeat) and whoring out for skooma would take the whole thing to another level.

Something like "yeah, I'll give you skooma if you let me tie you up and fuck you". And then, whether they'll actually give you skooma afterwards could tie back to prostitution success chance or something. Or they could gag you, give you skooma and say something "good luck taking that skooma now, that your mouth is shut, haha. Bye, junkie." and walk away. Or report you to the guards.

Not impossible, albeit I haven't used that mod for like 5 or 6 years, is it still the premier mod of its kind?

Although I'm not sure if I will do it or do it to the level of complexity you mention, since it's not something I'm really interested in myself, nor do I have it installed. Depends on the ease of integration.

Love the mod! I need help/have a question. I'm currently trying a male playthrough and was looking to disable this mod through mcm. Is there a way to turn most of the features off? There are still few i'd like to include but it's a little awkward when npc's are asking if my male PC is a good girl.
