Battosay Posted November 4, 2014 Posted November 4, 2014 Just a small Bug report: Random Quests are not registering if you use JContainers 3+ try this http://www.loverslab.com/topic/24450-radiantprostitution-tweaked/?p=902316
RDKateran Posted November 4, 2014 Posted November 4, 2014 I'm not sure that'd help, because I'm now noticing the same issue--0 quests registering--and I've been using the recompiled sources for a while.
Backupfly Posted November 4, 2014 Posted November 4, 2014 Is there a reason why NPC wenches will always say no to other NPCs who ask them? (With a lowlife with you..?) Also, I don't seem to be able to open the scripts to figure out what's wrong myself I have that same problem, even with the schedule thing ticked. Used to work fine and then it didn't. Weird, Will reinstall mod and see.

MadMaxxx Posted November 4, 2014 Posted November 4, 2014 After testing several fixes for RP. The version from this post: http://www.loverslab.com/topic/24450-radiantprostitution-tweaked/?p=937351 works with JContainer 3.1, slavetats, appropos. Thanks!
RDKateran Posted November 4, 2014 Posted November 4, 2014 That's frustrating. That's stopped working on my game for some reason.
Salovas Posted November 10, 2014 Posted November 10, 2014 Hopefully someone here can point me in the right direction with a technical concern. I've been using this mod for ages, since back during the early days of it's original author, and was looking to make two minor changes that I can not for the life of me find where to edit.1. I'm trying to remove the possibility of a prostitute refusing to service you, as it makes no sense for them to be turning me down while they're on the clock. I think there's a speechcraft check or something, I'd rather it just function without a chance to fail. 2. Back in the old days, prostitutes would only work inside an inn, now they will work anywhere, which is a plus. However, I'd like to find a way for them to function only in interior cells as whores getting down in middle of the town square is killing my immersion. I've opened this mod no less than one bagillion times in Tes5edit looking for what exactly I need to do to change these factors with no luck so far. I'm starting to suspect I need to edit the scripts, which I have no experience in. If someone can verify that's the case, I'll just learn how to edit scripts real quick if need be.EDIT: The answer to #2 was hidden in plain sight. I feel dumb for not seeing this before. On the low chance anyone cares, I can explain how I did it, though I haven't jumped in game to make sure it's working yet.
Sensual Nautilus Posted November 10, 2014 Posted November 10, 2014 I'm assuming related to the problem of people's NPC's and followers with dibellan amulets not functioning, that there is currently no fix, and it happened over time? I was able to get that feature running for a time, until it ceased to be, not sure for how long, but it managed to function as long as it did. Another curiosity, in the files included, the most latest version appears to be packaged with the SOS patch already, is this adequate over the patch independently available in the download section? ----- 15 minutes later ------ Okay, I spent a week investigating this, and right after I post this message, Tweedledee around a few options again, nudge a few things around and... it worked. So ~ Hypothesis time! Here is my hypothesis, I suspect that this problem occurs when your follower is not set on sandbox mode, and you allow her/him to muck around with an amulet on, or any sort of thing that gives her the authority to bone while not in sandbox mode. This then causes for a process in the mod to be left on permanent hold as an npc who might have wanted booty from your said follower, but was not able to as you took her away from him before he could even ask her for dinner. Soooo, what I did that has seemingly encouraged the fixed state, is firstly ensuring I have the SoS patch (not sure if its the packaged one or independent one), then turned off the whoring schedule. Now for this step that I did, you will need a mod that will assist your followers in aggressively lolly-gagging about, for that I used Amazing Follower Tweaks, other option probably available. Now, give your follower an amulet and set her on sandbox mode. After all these steps are done, go to the mod's MCM menu and hit Quest reset on the NPC section, after which almost immediately, the follower will be confronted by a horny bugger and all shall be well, so far for me at the least. (ps. do this all while in a tavern) Now one thing there is to be considered, if my hypothesis is true, then it would most likely be dependent on an individual follower which has caused the issue, so for example with a person who has many followers that have taken up the industry, you can imagine how difficult it would be to pin point the offending wench. Anyway, I am emphasizing that this is all hypothesis. Perhaps this has already been addressed (although I failed to find it while spelunking this thread) and not useful, I post it anyway that perhaps this may be useful for anyone in particular.
Salovas Posted November 10, 2014 Posted November 10, 2014 I'm actually not sure why that function would quit working for some people, but it's been a curiosity of mine since first seeing it on the forums. The only thing I can think of is that the NPC's inventory would have reset, thus forcing them to unequip or lose the amulet. It happens over time. I can say that the function is indeed working for me and I've never had an issue with it. I've even added the Jobwhore keyword to mod added clothing or npc outfits added by mods and has worked exactly the same. Immersive Wenches uses a modified version of the Tavern Clothes which I have edited to have the Jobwhore keyword on it, and they've functioned flawlessly (I had to delete their tray holding animations though, or they'd be marked as busy), so I can't think of a reason why the amulet, which functions the exact same way as the tavern clothes or anything with the Jobwhore keyword would quit working. Your best bet would be to make absolutely sure the NPC's are actually wearing the amulet or use the CK or Tes5Edit to add the amulet to their default outfit. As to your second question, I don't use SoS, so I can't give an answer for that. I'd look at the dates of the patch and the latest release, and whichever came last is probably all you need. Also, if it seems like NPC's aren't working right, hit the reset button in the MCM. I do that every now and then for good measure. I've also noticed that NPC to NPC interactions will not work for me regardless of time of day unless I uncheck the "NPC Schedule" option. Not sure why that is.Hopefully my ranting will be of some use to you.

Salovas Posted November 10, 2014 Posted November 10, 2014 DOH! It's been so long that I actually forgot about that, but yes, followers don't seem to function right if they're not sandboxing. I use Simple Multiple Followers which has an automatic sandbox option on it, but I've had it so long that I forgot that I ever had this problem. I'm not sure if they even will do anything when not sandboxing. EDIT: To shed further light on this, I discovered a check in this mod a while back to see if the NPC is marked as busy. I'm assuming that is the culprit, which is most likely also why the Immersive Wenches wenches would not operate when holding a drink tray. I'm assuming any currently running animation, or following package will mark them as busy and cause them not to engage in the radiant functions.

If this is all true, this problem may mostly be overcome if the mod would function more aggressively towards selecting actors for the event. Out of interest also, can you do me the honor and favor of sharing your Immersive wenches no tray animation as a patch if possible, so I can test it?

Out of interest also, can you do me the honor and favor of sharing your Immersive wenches no tray animation as a patch if possible, so I can test it? I would, however there's two problems. I use the last version of IW, not the new one. He made all the wenches essential, named, and non respawning, which made me reluctant to upgrade, as I liked it better when it was more generic. If he still has the old version up, that wont be a problem. The second problem is that it's a modified version of the actual esp, not a patch. I'm not sure if I'd be allowed to share it or not. It is a really simple thing to do, just time consuming. Look up the AI packages in T5Edit and just remove the drink tray animations from them. Bear in mind, however that they still will not whore themselves unless you load up IW and Radiant Prostitution in the CK and make a patch that adds JobWhore to the unique tavern clothes that IW uses.
Salovas Posted November 10, 2014 Posted November 10, 2014 If you go that route, here's the patch that adds the keyword to the IW wench clothes. It should save you the trouble of opening the CK.https://www.dropbox.com/s/d21r3knhkx587se/RPWench.esp?dl=0
lordkoz Posted November 10, 2014 Posted November 10, 2014 That patch doesnt change anything XD, the "custom" wench clothes i added its just for their inventories and only summonable wenches have them, they still wear the normal vanilla wench clothes which im not changing at all so you still got the job whore keyword on it. The only wenches I made who wear another custom outfit are the ones in my plus patch for version 1.2.0, wenches that are inside the inn all day i made them wear a "pure tavern clothes outfit" (lol) to avoid them to whore themselves , so in the end i have one wench whoring and the other walking around holding a tray I think I made the same thing with version 1.3.0: wenches that are inside the inn all day arent prostitutes but the ones that come at night to the inn are. Its kind of more realistic and "immersive" for me at least. If you wanna make all wenches to whore themselves, adding the keyword to the pure wench outfit will do the trick. Also last time i checked carrying a tray doesnt make them inelegible to whore themselves, since RP handles that via an scene it takes priority over wenches ai packages, the trick about that animation is that it gets stuck actually (sometimes even after the package ends which is annoying for me at least XD) but it breaks when another animation starts or if they run, it shouldnt matter and all the time it worked for me Also to point other thing out I kind of miss the randomness of my previous version i may made a patch to have random wenches at inns along with the named essential ones.
Salovas Posted November 10, 2014 Posted November 10, 2014 I'm pulling this all from distant memory. When I first installed IW, it didn't function with RP at all, and now that I'm remembering it, that makes sense because it was the first fix I attempted. After that didn't work, I started removing tray animations from half the wenches, which seemed to be the fix I needed. The tray animations however, did cause problems for me. The script would fire off, and I'd get a notification that "A wench is on the job", the client would move into his follow package, but the scene would not start. The reason I had to remove so many is because, from my observations, having the scene halted would cause the functionality to stop working all together until I switched cells. If it works for some, then I suppose my theory was wrong, but my fix worked for my own game, so I'm not going to bother overthinking it at this point. Even with so many wenches and having their trays removed though, the actual scenes that fire off is a surprisingly low number. I'm running mods that more or less have me spending large quantities of time in taverns and at most I'll see two jobs fire off the whole time I'm there. On a side note, I really appreciate your work with IW. I run a ton of NPC mods, so it brings a lot of realism to my game to have more than just a bartender running a crowded inn. The functionality with this mod is a happy plus in my quest to keep Skyrim the way I envision it. I play a male character, so I wouldn't have much use for this mod without the radiant interactions, and you've pretty much filled that gap. I'm honored that the creator himself would drop by here and impart his own knowledge on the topic.
dastrinken Posted November 11, 2014 Posted November 11, 2014 (edited) hi guys, i installed RP a few hours ago and still can't get it to work properly. first off, when i speak to the first innkeeper (no matter which one) my camera gets kinda stuck, i can change from first to third person but i cannot change the range/perspective in third person. The Innkeeper won't hand me out any clothes, and even though i can start interactions/dialogue with NPC's, no animations are playing. I've got all the recommended and necessarily needed mods to run RP, i ran FNIS as well as loot, also cleaned everything with TES5 Edit. All of my other mods are working just fine. I assume there is either something wrong with RP or it is conflicting with other mods. I tested it with Enhanced Camera, Joy of Perspective as well as no camera mod at all. Still the same result. Next step i took was disabling all camera settings in other mods (such as automatic flying cam in SL etc.) I hope you can help me with all the information provided. Greetings... edit: if RP is installed im not able to start a new game (CTD) Edited November 11, 2014 by dastrinken

Greetings... edit: if RP is installed im not able to start a new game (CTD) Can you get SL animations to play when using other mods? I can't think of anything in RP that would affect your camera angle, this absolutely has to be a problem unrelated to this mod. The innkeeper parts are only dialogue, and don't start any animations or affect the camera in any way other than what any other vanilla dialogue would. They'll give you a quest and add some tavern clothes to your inventory, and that's all. I have this installed with about 230 other mods and never had a ctd on start up from it. I can verify that this mod does work and will not kill your game. Are you running the latest version of SKSE with the memory patch? (just throwing ideas out there) It might help troubleshoot if we can see your load order as well.
dastrinken Posted November 11, 2014 Posted November 11, 2014 first of all thanks for the quick respond. i am indeed running the latest SKSE version w/ memory patch, to be completely sure i reinstalled it and it didn't solve the issue, removing SoS did... despite having downloaded the compatibility patch, it won't work together. any hints on how to solve that? i'll soon get that load order up as well... edit: after reading this thread again, i tried it with and without the patch, reinstalled SoS and then RP, it didn't work. then again i installed the patch, just for a try, and set its load order after any RP or SoS file, didn't work either.
Salovas Posted November 12, 2014 Posted November 12, 2014 If it's an issue with SoS, I can't offer much assistance. I tried it when it first came out, but it's a bit script heavy for a body replacer for my tastes. My guess is that the patch is really out of date, and wont work until someone fixes it. You might find someone who can help on the SoS thread. I hope you find a fix!
RDKateran Posted November 12, 2014 Posted November 12, 2014 A) SKSE already has the memory patch built-in, so you don't want the memory patch installed separately with SKSE. IIRC there is no longer an incompatibility between RP and SoS, so that compatibility patch shouldn't be needed.
dastrinken Posted November 12, 2014 Posted November 12, 2014 thank you guys for all the help. i allready read that the patch isn't needed and i don't think the problem has anything to do with RP. it seems like there is a conflict between the new SoS and the new XP32 skeleton, I deactivated all other mods and as long as both are active I got the camera stuck issue. i'll try it again with older versions of both mods, to see if that solves it. If you got any other ideas dont hesitate to post here. edit: solved the issue by using something different from SoS for male nudes. i really appreciate the great work done with RP, one of the finest mods i came across.
Nepro Posted November 14, 2014 Posted November 14, 2014 If I add appropriate keywords to barkeeper clothes then all women who wear barkeeper clothes will prostitute themselves in the inns/taverns? Registering working clothes in MCM doesn't work for NPCs.

Guest Posted November 20, 2014 Posted November 20, 2014 It would be nice if we could have a gender preference setting for the home delivery quest since not everyone is gay/bi oriented.
