Thanks so much for this amazing mod! I have a slightly unstable overmodded set up and I'm constantly impressed by how much my game doesn't crash when SD events are happening

Sorry if this question has already been answered, 710 pages etc etc

On 'the truth' quest I found the journal and headed over to the meadery. I've not done thieves guild quest (not very sneaky character) so I couldn't get to the basement. I didn't want to wait so I coc'd there, slept in the bed, visited dreamworld and ended up back in the bunkhouse. The quest target 'investigate honningbrew meadery' is still there.

My question is, do I need to do the thieves guild quest to get in there? What am I supposed to do in the meadery? Would you mind sharing the quest id so that I can botch it if I need to? This game isn't my final form build so I'm keen to hop along quickly and find all the bugs (mine, not yours) for my perfected next game.

Btw is this compatible with wintersun? I was going to install it then I saw it says "uses unused actor values x,y etc" and realised- I previously thought all my mods were adding more values (arousal, slavery level etc) but if some of them are using a built in but unused feature, I have to be careful not to run two mods that try to use that value, right? Sorry if that's a stupid question I'm kinda new to this. I'll probably install it on my next game, I'm planning on learning to make patches so I can use a few mods I wish I used this time around more... stably *crosses self*. I had to remove hydra slavegirls because I CTDd whenever they appeared, which is sad because now I'm the only slave, and I'm too anxious to install skooma whore (which I reaalllly want to try with SD) but I know lots of people have had no problem with all of these so I'm thinking I'm doing something wrong and that maybe TES5edit is the answer to my prayers. Just that my current game is sort of limping along okay, it's not perfect but it's playable, and I know if I start fucking around I'm not getting that save back lmao. But when I was installing and uninstalling mods and starting lots of new games to try to get a stable build, your mod never seemed to cause an issue even with the copious amounts of user error I'm sure I threw in to the mix, which I thought was pretty awesome.

Uhhh this is a more generic question but there's no right place to ask a question this stupid and uninformed so I may as well blurt it in a place filled with informed people.
I recently rebuilt my desktop, I know nothing about computers but I like to learn by doing, I have 32gb ram and AMD Ryzen 7 processor which I figured was enough to go kinda hard on it, but I couldn't afford a new graphics card yet so I'm using the one I got second hand 10 years ago when I first built the desktop. I can't remember what it is, it was good 10 years ago but it's not now. Anyway would getting a new graphics card help at all? Would it make any difference at all to how often I CTD because a hundred slavegirls and a giant are trying to load outside whiterun? Or are they totally not connected, I could solve it maybe by clearing up the conflicts? Sorry this feels like suuuuch a stupid question, I wanted to run tropical skyrim too but I'm scared about how many things the game can load and would like to improve the situation. Having virtual sex in the snow makes me feel cold irl. My SE game was more stable, and I usually played it with my graphics turned way down and I don't have that option on LE.

Explore the rooms in the meadery. Upstairs especially.

You should find a note with hints about how to get to the underground altar without having to do the Thieves Guild quest.

The biggest performance factors for a game like Skyrim are:

- the VRAM on your video card

- having the game installed on a Solid State Drive

That's it.

The amount of RAM is only helpful to make sure you have enough to run the game on top of your OS.

Today I learned what VRAM is!! Thanks so much! I have hope that one day I'll be able to play with alll the mods! I don't know what I have but I'm sure it's not enough
It has it's own partition on my SSD :D So started out right on that one at least.

And thanks for the tip, I'll head straight back to look

I looked it up, it's a GEForce GTX 650 Ti with 1gb ???

Your best investment at this point is probably a video card upgrade with more memory (4Gb or more).

If you want to stay with Nvidia, the 1080 series is dropping in price because of better models coming up and it is still solid to run Skyrim.

I have my eye on a nice one just got to wait until after Christmas. This one lasted 10 years so I reckon the next one should too so I'll get as future proof as I can :D You've made my day because I've been spending whole weekends doing things like switching mod organisers and watching tutorials and not playing, and now I feel pretty sure that my life will be a whole lot easier in a months time :O especially with all the work I've done to get it stable on 1gb, I'm thinking with 8 or something I can probably happily load up slavegirls outside whiterun ? I've been window shopping all night. Ahh I can't wait to enjoy your mod with all the mods you recommended with it, thanks so much for humouring a noob!

By the way I went back to the meadery and tried to look around, I snuck in to Sabjorns first room and couldn't find anything in any cupboards or anything (unless it was mavens letter?) but the next door was expert lock and my console commands started not working (wouldn't unlock door, gave me a funny message about furniture when I tried to advskill? bit bizarre) so I couldn't get through the door. Do I need to get through the second door? I came back to ask instead of just trying for longer because I have too much immersion and sneaky stuff makes me shake like an idiot even after 10 years of sneaking around skyrim,

The clue is in the bedroom upstairs. I guess that's what you mean by the second door.

I have the Special Edition, and I am not sure if it works, even with the Special Edition Version of this mod, this needs so much other mods that again need other mods I am lost, has someone a lost or a "complete package" of mods needed for the SE version?

All I did was download this mod, activated it and then it told me what masters I was missing. I then found the SE versions here in LL or converted them over using a mesh optimiser.

Ok, how do I raise beast (specifically a chaurus reaper) disposition? I have spent three entire days giving food and sex every hour for the entire day each day, and by day three disposition is still at -6.
In desperation I even tried using commands to set the SD global variables manually, but they just revert to their original values as soon as I close the console. Does this maybe have something to do with the negative 'needsgold' variable? because I don't actually have the option to give the chaurus any gold, just food and alchemy ingredients and potions (none of which increases that value)

help please??

(also, as a side note, is there a way to adjust the master follow/approach distance? or could we maybe get that option in future updates if it's controlled by SD? because that distance currently has the reaper pushing my character all over the place as it tries to stay close enough to me)

I'm having a slight issue with Dreamworld. I don't know how to get back to it after the first time. I tried sleeping, dying, nothing worked. The onDeath event from DAYMOYL in the MCM only registers DA Death, even though it didn't have any trouble finding the SD scenarios for onBlackout (enslavement, ...)

Is there something I'm missing ? Thanks in advance

Have you tried sleeping in front of the alter? there should be a trapdoor beneath the bridge in front of honningbrew meadery that leads to the alter. It's supposed to automatically send you to the dreamworld.

I haven't tried it, alhough I suspect it would work, but isn't the access to Dreamworld supposed to be easier when you've already been there once ? The MCM menu is suggesting that you can have a 100% chance of being transported there when sleeping.

OK nvm, I found the problem:

There is an issue if you try to go straight to Dreamworld at the start of a new game.

Make sure you sleep past midnight once before trying to sleep in front of the altar.

Can anyone confirm if my disposition issue is because I'm doing something wrong or is a genuine bug?

(Edit: checked punishments, doesn't seem to be that either I don't think)

My character got enslaved by a bandit at bannermist tower. I hung around there for a few days until he was displeased and sold her off to Belethor. However something seemed to glitch out and the collar just started shocking my character until she went down (seeming like a Death Alternative downing only I didn't see the DA bar) and I lost the ability to do anything. Anyone know how this bug happened or how I can fix it?

Question - are creature animations, and by extension things like MNC/Creature Framework, a soft requirement for this mod? Maybe 'requirement' isn't the right word as it's not listed in the mod description... I guess more, are they need to maintain a decent level of playability for SD? Some of the screenshots imply as much.

I have nothing creature related in my install currently and would prefer to keep it that way if possible, though I would like to try SD out.

A very soft requirement. You can turn off creature content in the MCM. In the MCM you'll want to turn off creatures as masters and possibly something to do with trolls as well. You might also need to turn off an option relating to Falmer and maybe Chorus as well. The mod also features interactions with Spriggans but they're covered under the general creatures tab (I think). It'll be on the first or 2nd page of the MCM in the left hand column near the bottom.

However, when you go to install the mod you'll want to delete the following files:

Quote

Delete \Data\Meshes\Actors\Canine\ (possibly just dogCUTEHORNY.nif, or dogVEINYBIG.nif.) every time the mod updates.

You'll also want to delete these files every time the mod updates. These files give all the dogs and wolves new penis models but forgets to give them textures (so they have annoying pink/purple boxes in their groins). The textures are in some creature content mods but you can safely delete the models from the folder I've listed above if you don't have the corresponding textures to go with them (I think they're from a mod called Horny Creatures of Skyrim).

Like this mod. Though, for immersion, I needed to turn off bound combat in Devious Devices cause otherwise the best way to clear small dungeons like bandits hideout was to get enslaved and then beat every enemy to death. They never retaliate because player is consider as from their faction (which I get is a necessity to prevent enemies from attacking enslaved player character).

Not sure if this has to do with SL Dialogues or SD+, but I've been encountering something of an oddity. I'm currently enslaved to a Troll, but every time he or a creature tries initiate sex with my character and I submit or resist, nothing happens with either. Even communicating with the Troll and choosing the "Roll Over" option doesn't work (every other option does though). The debug messages say something like they try to hump me or something equivalent, then "nevermind" shows up like it was cancelled and I'm not entirely sure why. I've got all the creatures' animations working perfectly fine otherwise, because they happened before I was enslaved. Is it some setting I have ticked that's preventing it, or is it just something that's not handled anymore (the FAQ says SD+ doesn't include creature sex anymore, so does that have something to do with it)?
