- Added: Random vampiric feeding when owned by a vampire (count toward food goals)

So, not sure if I'm missing something here, but the whole enslavement event never happens. You get attacked, go into bleed out, try to surrender, they beat you up, sex you, then... nothing. It tells me to make an escape before they notice but they never notice anything. They don't attack, have any dialogue, and no amount of waiting or walking triggers any event whatsoever. Do I have to wait for some ungodly amount of time or are they legitimately broken? I am using SD Patches.

 

'escape before they notice anything' ... that sounds like SexLab Helpless or 'SexLab submit with progression' are interfering with the defeat process.

 

Make sure to increase the trigger for defeat in Death Alternative (by changing the Health Threshold value for example).

 

To be sure - try to manually surrender to your aggressor next time using the '\' key and selecting 'Submit'.

 

 

I have neither of those. I've modified DA to make sure that the SD event is the only thing that can happen, and now that event doesn't trigger, but none do. I go into bleedout, black out, and then just stand up with the aggressors being non-hostile and nothing further happens. Surrendering does nothing.

 

 

It looks like you are among those for whom SD did not initialize properly.

 

Make sure you are not using SD Patches. If you do, remove it and delete scripts starting with _sd in your script folder.

 

Try re-registering quests from DA using the option in the menu.

 

If that fails, you may have to run the uninstall option in SD+, save, run your save game through a save game cleaner tool and reinstall SD+.

 

 

Still doesn't work. I've done a completely fresh install without SD Patches, registered the DA stuff, and still they send me into bleedout, then I just get up again and they turn non-hostile. Surrendering doesn't help.

 

EDIT: It worked once, through bleedout, and then never worked again.

@krominof - The source of your problems is most likely SD Patches, since that mod was written to SD+ 2.0.

 

You need to remove it (as well as the DDfh SDpatch) and delete scripts starting with _sd in your scripts folder.

 

Tried that, too. But I still have the problem that I don't get enslaved. Everything happens just as I described before. I get teleported slightly out of reach of my aggressors, they turn non-aggressive, and that's about it. I updated DA, checked all the DA settings, everything seems okay. I have no idea what goes wrong.

 

 

That sounds like DA is working at least.

 

Try re-registering the quests from DA (there is an option for that in the menu) and try looking at the logs after a failed attempt at enslavement. There should be some comments about SD enslavement and why it failed.

 

The mod appears to be working. Got enslaved by bandits in Broken Oar Grotto. Maybe I was just getting an abnormal amount of misses on triggering SD events :P

I find kinda funny bug in newest version or its never happen me before. Your companion can enslave you in combat o.O Its happen me twice in similar situation. First time I had 2 rune near me, when I fall on knee. Bandit hide bow and run on me with sword. All was ok But before last hit to blackout he move hit me and trigger both of rune. So I blackout and he die. Its start enslaving me but becouse no one around Sofia become my master. Second time its happen with monster from F.E.M.A.L.E. They are human but have gustom armor. Same situation she die during final hit. Becouse dot spell and Sofia become my master.

Maybe she is tired of being just a follower and REALLY likes your character? :)

 

I tried to minimize that situation but it is still possible to trigger it with dot like you said.

 

Edit: I just checked the code and it really should be happening only through 'I need a strong hand to guide me' - not in combat.

 

Are you using SD Patches by any chance? 

 

 

I dont using SD patches. Only SD+ 3.2 (Today will try 3.3). Maybe its not problem with SD but with Sofia? I didnt try normal follower I only have her.

Great another update! I've my plate full I'll skip those boring new years party for a Sanguine party this year! :D

 

Regarding the problem of having both the "fighting for your master" and the "take a weapon to free from the binding" features, I would say to have a dialogue that start the former as kind of quest. From the moment you accept to fight for the owner, you're free from your bindings (if you're not already) and can keep weapons. Before every weapon you take (unseen) may free you from the wrist bindings. 

I don't know how much is feasible but you could restrict the kind of weapon, if you feel it would become to easy. Like exclude all bows (for consistency). Also mace and maybe even axes and sword could be excluded. As the bindings looks like metal (not ropes), maybe you need something small like a dagger to fit in and break the lock.

 

BUG REPORT: It happened to get enslaved by the "mercenaries" you find in various thieves guild quest (like around and inside the "goldenglow" estate). There seems to be a problem with them since there is no dialogue and the only thing they say is "You should not be here"!

Read the patch note, so the vampire feeding is back? Nice! But can you explain what do you mean about a chance of having the cuffs removed? Is that some groundwork for an opportunity for my char. to escape or something? Or was it because someone complained about the immersion breaking when the char. hands are binded but they are unbinded during sex? I only leave xaz animations on for the sex so it's not a problem for me.

Has the CT Bodyslide file changed? as I have that installed already and I don't require the additional file as I don't use frostfall so i think in theory i should only need to replace 3.0.2 with 3.0.3 (and the new dialogue mod as well)

 

Is that correct?

This one has the master (and his little vampire friends) feed on you.

 

For the cuffs, it's a bit of both.

Thanks for the suggestions and the bug report, I added the GoldenGlow estate faction to the list of factions banned from slavery.

 

Another possibility I have been thinking about regarding weapons and escape would be related to crafting stations. Maybe a special smithing recipe or just having the right items in your inventory when using a smith or sharpening station.

I really like this idea. It's good for gameplay and, in my opinion, perfectly believable. It gives you some incentive to look for someone else to abuse you. Then in the heat of the moment he/she forget (or doesn't even know how) to put back the cuffs. Well, he/she is not the owner. It's human he/she cares a lot less.

It's good it's not automatic but could happen only with a small change.

And that the cuff will be back once the owner see you.

The more of this kind of opportunities for escape you add to the mod, the more the fun.

I mean something both random (you have to do something specifically but the effect are not automatic) and brief (you have to catch that train!).

I suppose you mean the Black Briars Lodge,,, not the mansion inside Riften?

 

Both factions should be fixed in the next version.

 

For the skin layers, there isn't much I can do except removing the sweat layer from SD+. And even then, that wouldn't fix other interactions such as Bathing in Skyrim (which I got to like quite a lot with SD+... I even started fixing Hormones to work better with it and made the Sisterhood of Dibella compatible with ingredients for soaps).

 

By that I mean, if I remove the sweat layer from SD+, Slavetats will not be preserved from other mods like Bathing..

Yes, the Black briars lodge!

 

Yeah I supposed it was a layer issue. I like the sweating effect of SD. It's a trademark feature (was there from the start of the mod if memory serves me well).

If it's easy to do, you might eventually add an option to toggle off the sweating layers to assure full compatibility with Apropos (for people who don't also use the bathing mod of course).

So I had the same issue that I've seen reported here a few times, in that I got stuck with Spriggan armor after the quest was done. In my case it was the mask... I had started the quest with just the hands and feet (which I guess is normal), and eventually the host spread and gave me the mask. Sadly, the mask never goes away after the quest completes, though the hands and feet do.

 

The reason this is such a big problem is because there doesn't seem to be any 'safe word' option in Devious Devices for when something goes wrong, which means I can never, ever unequip stuff if whatever mod that put it there doesn't do it properly. Failing a safe word or something, how about a key that unlocks Spriggan stuff? It needn't show up in the game anywhere, but just something a player can console up for themselves if the need arises.

I had started the quest with just the hands and feet (which I guess is normal), and eventually the host spread and gave me the mask. Can you not use showinventory on the console with the PC selected and then either use player.unequipitem [spriggancode] 1 or player.removeitem [spriggancode] 1

 

player.unequipitem and then putting the spriggan head into a container would probably be best as the put in container is meant to be the fix for DDi items although i dunno where spriggan head would fall under that category

Hey skrimll. I've been trying out the Deviously Enslaved mod which is SD+ aware. I've noticed that a situation can arise where an armbinder is equipped followed by enslavement with SD+ This is all as intended by that mod obviously but the issue of armbinder/ kneeling clipping arises at that point. Would this be something you could address in SD+ (Maybe auto switch from arm binder to cuffs) or should I pester the DE mod author?

Well, in a typical example of poor planning on my part, I didn't take any screen shots so I'll have to sort that out and see if I can post one. I don't actually think this is a SD+ issue, its more coincidental really as the DE mod has dialogue based choices that result in enslavement but also a MCM option to equip devious devices which can include an armbinder. The clipping issue arises when you happen to already be wearing the armbinder and have DE set to trigger enslavement with SD+. I might post over in that support thread too and see what he can do about it with DE.

So, I got kidnapped by the Forsworn for stealing the Sybil from them. I've been turned into a flowering spriggan, but my entire body is invisible now. Am I missing something? I just updated SD+ today and checked all my requirements. I've got everything required by SD+, does the spriggan equipment come from another mod?

I see...

And I think that's how the vampire quest should've always been, not to say that jbezorg vision was bad, but the mod ended up launching the escape timer when my char. was trying to go out & feed someone. Although I prefer the vampire feeding to be like the 1 for submit. It happens before sex. But as for SD, I think there should be more on a time of day thing and that the master (and his friends) do so autonomously, not because their sex toy ask to be sucked dry. Maybe, make it happens like every 6 hours? or 12? A special sex dialogue or something? Or make it happen like twice a day before sex? Make it some kind of a rape follow by drinking or drinking before rape maybe? I almost liked jbezorg when he made it that my char. got to lie down before the master can drink. But the problem I have with that 1 is that the master started to do it every 5 seconds, even during rape. At 1 time, the vampire teleported & drink her in the dream world, so she's freed when she woke up :P

For some reason I have a feeling that you're just gonna make it a random opportunity anyway & I'll be so unlucky that all the vampire master want to do is just to suck her dry...

(OK, most of my girl chars. are sweet but come on!)

 

As for the DDi, I always uncheck everything Devious Devices so I don't even know that happens...

Vampire feeding appears to be working but personally id prefer the feeding animation over the drain spell as its more "sexy". Being able to configure how often it happens would also be nice and for me preferable to being able to ask to be fed upon. The Mthralling mod did this well as whilst being kept as a vampire cow, all the nearby vampires would feed on you periodically. The only naff part was that the feeding animation breaks you out of the cuffed pose momentarily. Good update though and definitely heading in the right direction for my particular kinks! :P

I tried to get the normal vampire feeding animation to work but I wasn't successful. The vampire drain was my backup solution.

 

I will take a look at mthralling and see if there is anything I can reuse.

 

Right now, feedings are random. Vampires just extract a little bit of health, so you can consider that as a light snack.

 

The next update adds a slightly more taxing feeding when your owner is in a bad mood.
