These should equip when you go to Dreamworld and expire automatically after a while (eventually... that part is not working properly yet). What d you mean not quite working properly yet? Do they expire with time, and if not, how do I remove them? Automatic expiration is not working yet. You can get them removed by asking people to help you using the Devious Device default dialogue for armbinders and (in the next update) asking court wizards, priests or vigilants of Stendaar for help. Court wizards? Relying on that patronizing jerk Farangar seems like asking for even worse trouble.

I have been too busy working on the mod mechanics so far to add more to the quest. I still have a couple of months worth of fixes before getting there.

This was the reason why I never like Death Alternative from the start for not letting my char. die when they should, now it just won't let her die at all. If I uncheck Essential, she'll die & SD won't start. Currently, I just let my char stand still in the middle of a bandit mob because she won't die, Death Alternative won't let her die. I also noticed that SD will initiate itself from the start in this update, that saves some time so good job. Not a big fan of sanguine artifacts but that's not a big deal.

Uncheck 'Keep character essential'. In DA menu, raise Health Threshold to 10% and Large hit health buffer to 600%. If you die instead of being enslaved, it means you are receiving hits so large that DA sends you right to Death instead of Bleedout. DA is adjustable so that you can adapt it to your own circumstances.

If SD+ is not triggering make sure you have begun the quest and that the events in DA are set as they should be. SD+ should be defaulted around 80% for most of the events. I turn all other events except Prison Overhaul and Defeat to 1% so that they will still trigger when they need to, for example when you are downed by a faction that is not able to enslave you (wolf, sabertooth, etc.) then DA will choose another event. I'm not sure what DA does when there are no events maybe you will be able to stand in a bandit camp and not die, no clue. I don't use the artifact as well, I just found it triggered to often and didn't fit with my play through. You can only choose to disable the artifact before you press Begin in the MCM or start the mod via the normal quests in game.

DA is adjustable so that you can adapt it to your own circumstances. Just did, nothing changed, the only noticeable thing is that she gets healed to full health even before she ran out of hp. Although she was killed once though. Oh, the entire thing happedn on the Dainty Sload, the mob there hits very weak.

I know right, I have an exact same configurations as usual, except it's not working this time. I always set Enslavement to 100 on SD+ & SD event to 99 on Death Alternative & everything else is off, there are absolutely NO reasons for it not to work, except it's not working this time. SD is automatically on in this update so again, I don't know why it's not working.

I know right, I have an exact same configurations as usual, except it's not working this time. I always set Enslavement to 100 on SD+ & SD event to 99 on Death Alternative & everything else is off, there are absolutely NO reasons for it not to work, except it's not working this time. SD is automatically on in this update so again, I don't know why it's not working. Another thing that can interfere with mortality is the DeferredKill state that some mods use to prevent premature death. Sometimes, that state is not released properly - making the player in effect immortal. If you have Frostfall, make sure the option 'Frostfall mortality' is enabled in the addon menu for SD.

I've also got a copy of CK and I'm not uncomfortable with making edits on my own, more familiar with TES5edit myself though made some mods just with that lolz. Im thinking for now a placeholder patch would be nice on those items, might crack open edit now while I await a reply

Pieces of the armor will auto equip in phases - first hands and feet, then body and then mask - during punishment events (randomly triggered). When I get the spriggan event i only get spriggan feet, and iron cuffs, no spriggan hands. The cuffs can be removed with NPC's.

Yeah, that's how much I don't like it I don't pay attention to updates OK, finally I got this new update to work (I still need to leave essentials on or she'll die) I don't want to use the word "hate" because it shows a strongly negative attitude. But I have a pretty strong negative attitude to this update, but not to the point of hate. I know lots of people want Death Alternative & Devious Devices integration, I'm the only 1 who didn't like both so yeah... My game got into an infinite loading screen while I'm going to test the enslavement on necromancers & vampires. So I just quit & going to tell you my experiences of this update on normal bandits, corsairs of the dainty sload & the imperial legion. But on the plus side of this update, there seems to be a lot more likelihood of sex happening as the first thing after enslavement. I'll go specific on the corsairs first because that's where most of all the frustrating things happen. So on the corsairs, they really make me didn't enjoy Devious Devices a great deal. They seem to equip random devices on her. Until they gave my char. stuff like gag & blindfold at the same time so my char. can't move & can't speak. Because Skyrim navmesh is just being Skyrim navmesh, her master stood right in front of her at all times blabbering while my char just stood there. So I have to console command the devices off because nothing happened during that time at all, I waited about 5 minutes by the way. So the corsair gave her a strap (chastity belt), gag, blindfold, leg cuffs & handcuffs, at first I remove gag & blindfold off, then I have to remove the strap off because of the error keep popping up about no compatible sex poses whenever her corsair master wants to rape her (Sexlab at the time just want to use sex poses chastity belts won't allow). Here comes another problem with the armbinders, I won't complain that it's not an armbinder, but it can be taken off very easy by asking a friend of her master to took it off & my char. is basically freed at that point because my char. can remove all other gears from Devious Devices on her own without any consequences AT ALL, so I start to feel like the Devious Devices integration is pointless. My char. end up running around naked while her master is just following her around. Other than that, her corsair never gave her a collar but the game keep saying she's wearing one. Other problems old & new -Please still resulted to whipping -Can still run away by not running away but it seems you've done something to it to make it a lot less likely to happen. - Armbinder struggling options keep popping up to the point it's just very annoying, like every 5 seconds & it's not even working properly Because my char. is not kneeling anymore in this update, she end up phasing between standing still & kneeling down to struggle. -Electric cloak took too long before it disappear, I was checking master as follower mechanic if they can fast travel with my char this time, it didn't. I send her to an imperial fort & the cloak doesn't disappear after the timer is off, so the legion attacked her so she became a legion slave. I never get why the cloak is there to begin with so eh... -Now this 1 has nothing to do with devious devices but it almost pisses me off. So I send my char. to Volskygge to test on the bandits, 1 draugr decided to wake up just to check what is all the moaning is about outside, that draugr killed my char's master & his friends, the counter said she's freed, since picking weapons can't free my char like in the previous version, so she pick up a master key from her dead master. Guess what? YOUR MOD THREW AWAY THE KEY!!!! So yeah, I got to console command the cuffs off AGAIN! I noticed that it doesn't matter who my char. was enslaved by, she'll get Devious Device gears no matter what. I still like zaz more, Devious Device looked too clean, too modern & quite pricey contrast to dusty, run down places like forts & dungeons. Well it makes sense to give it to wealthier NPCs, but I don't feel the same to NPCs like bandits or necromancers. I feel like it should be in a more quest lined custom scenarios you mentioned about integrating to SD honestly. I like seeing my char. kneeling, any idea when it'll be put back? Would be great if she got to kneel every time before she could talk to her master. The "Ow, don't do that" can you put it as a response for aggressive? I didn't like it for passives. Maybe something for submissive for passives? Because right now, I'd rather prefer my char. not saying anything at all.
Teddar Posted July 31, 2014 Posted July 31, 2014 Not sure whats causing it but i keep getting a constant unequip/equip sound effect happening about every second non stop after i get enslaved, right as i get cuffed the sounds start to happen and they keep going, even through loads, i think its Death alternative but i dunno It might be your current mods. I suffered this issue due to SPERG which is fixed by setting the Unarmed Fixes to Manual so the mod doesn't force equip the Fist item when you're unarmed. it might also be another mod attempting to force equip items on you. Could also be Devious Devices underneath if you have it installed. In the config, menu, look at the bottom option and scroll down to the chest slot. It seems to default to chastity bra/piercings. Setting to nothing solved this problem for me. Also if you have Mthralling mod installed and forget to do the same thing with DD, you'll get that constant un-equipping sound.

Most of the issues you are describing fall under improved master / slave interactions, something I will do in the next updates now that I have rebuilt the foundations of the mod on top of DA and DD. That is, handling weapons while enslaved, master key, consequences for asking someone to release your device, better detection of NPC 'wealth', kneeling, armbinder animations, leash effect, etc... All these things would be pointless to fix on top of the unstable system I had before. Your issues are coming from the current transition state, so I can only recommend patience at this point. I t will get better.

I got the right Spriggan gloves in my tests but I will check again. I got the same problem with the Spriggan event, got the feet and Iron Cuffs, and if i remove the Iron cuffs (since they are reacting like armbinders i can remove them with the normal struggle TAB way), the other Parts of the Spriggan armor will never "grow" (not even after 10 ingame days). Apart from that, only other prob that did showed was that in a new game, i had to at least get the DA events (the two notice windows for bleedout and blackout) once, after that i can start SD and it works fine, if i start it before i got these notifications SD events would not fire and my char will just get up again, and again, and after the 4 or 5 time the char dies.

Followers cannot be put into open belts either. Simply taking 204 out and putting 203 in appears to immediately resolve the issue. Might pop it open with edit later and have a look, but if its the script itself that's changed er that's beyond me right now. Edit No sorry had to go back to before I installed 204 in order to put a follower in anything other than a plug.
