Ok, the master's key is definitely not working for me.

 

First of all even when my pc with free arms took it from her dead master, it was instantly removed!

 

second, the master's key is not removing all the items most of the time! One time it only removed her armbinder and left ankle, leg and neck cuffs off.. the other time it removed everything except the neck cuff.

 

Am I only experiencing this>?

 

Oh, also, the dialogue option "CAn you remove this chains please..." isn't doing anything either. The message box appears "you have been released from chains.." but in reality nothing is removed.

How do the spriggan armor progress after you get spriggan feet and the iron cuffs. 

 

The armor should spread to your body and then your face the next time you are 'punished' by the roots.

The roots will not spread if you already have devious devices attached to your body or your face.

Nah, I didn't get the break message at all. All I got, as of latest, is 'key removed' when looting it from master's dead body. Then I again I searched the body, the key wasn't there.

 

Also, npc's (who are able) cannot remove the cuffs and chains even though a message box says I am released from them.

Game immediately crashes whenI try to put on spriggan host chest piece. Am I missing something not in the core or requirements or is it just my game acting finicky?

How are you trying to put them on?

From the inventory. Came as loot from spriggans and I can put on the gauntlets and boots but chest piece crashes out the game fairly consistently.

Would installing all these mods with nexus mod manager effect anything. Maybe that is why my stuff is a bit glitchy.

That shouldn't matter. I use NMM.

Yea when I kill spriggans they drop the host as loot pieces. I manage to get a full set in one file. Though I never did try it on for fear of starting the spriggan questline.

 

Which reminds me was there suppose to be any animations when a spriggan infects you with the host? It kinda just skipped over that for me and it's my first time

For the record, I duplicated this issue. I got the chest piece (Light armor) and the circlet as loot from a spriggan. I could equip the circlet fine, but equipping the chest piece resulted in an immediate CTD. It crashed 3x in a row before I just moved on with my game.

Had a similar experience. Killed owner, got key. Key got instantly removed ("Master's Key Removed"). Had all of my items from the get go too, apparently. The collar however, remained. It was being treated as a DD, too, so as a test, I gave myself both a restraints and chastity key. Neither option worked, returning "This appears to be the incorrect key" (or similar notification). Character's been stuck with the collar since.

 

Since that was the first encounter, the dreamworld was next. Come the end of that event, the spectral bonds were applied. "Alright," I say to myself, "They're supposed to wear off after a while... let's see...." *opens magic effect menu* "NINETY NINE DAYS?!" Was that intentional? That's a long time to be running around looking all sparkly with a ghostly gag in her mouth. There was also another effect ("bound" I think it was labled as) which had a duration of 24 hours... that is... 24 REAL hours, not game hours. I could've swore I saw at some point that there was something the character could do to remove them earlier, but I couldn't for the life of me remember where I read that at.

 

However, if 24 (or 99) days was the intention, then that's the intention. A bit overkill in my personal opinion, but I'm not the author of this subject. Just curious if anyone might've run into the same issue was all. I know we all have an infinite number of combinations of load orders so it could be anything, if it wasn't intentional.

You might need to reinstall XPMS skeleton, or get the advanced xpms skeleton here on LL and install that over what you currently have.

I've never had an issue with the collar not being removed.

 

The masters key is supposed to be instantly removed from inventory and the only thing its supposed to remove is the collar from SD+

 

This sounds too much like script lag or even misfire.  You might have a mod trying to fire off when your grabbing the key.  But I think its lag, might want to go get these to get that under control.

 

Skyrim Configulator,

This is an app that will help you make key changes to the Skyrim INI files easily and quickly but its more than that it has a key option to enable threading correctly.  The users only reccamend it with intel processors like I5 or I7's, I have the 5 and it works wonders for handling now.

If you've tried to change your Papyrus handling manually I suggest rewriting it back to standard Beth configuration and not using so called Pap tweaks as they usually trade out performance elsewhere for script timing gains, and introduce game instability.

 

One Tweak, still a great mod.

 

SSME, I haven't seen this added into SKSE, I've looked for it in the latest didn't see it, install that.  Get the 1st download and install the latest version over it.

 

ENB booster.

 

Those should help take care of lag issue, other than that be wary of running to many mods that make constant call functions when setting up for a kinky skyrim adventure.

 

For instance I don't use ACE, frostfall, and well most of the popular mods that make constant script calls to function.  I'd rather have Devious Devices ramped up and slotted for a bunch of npc's than get blue nipples or locational damage...lolz

Similar issue here. Currently the spectural leg cuffs remain along with the standard slave collar. Neither blacksmith nor keys can remove them.

 

My apologies in advance for my ignorance but I recall you, Skyrimll about missions the master can send the slave on? Is that being implemented in the next version or is it already in this update?

Hey, so I can run the 116 not supported version of this just fine but when I try to load 204 in conjunction with DAYMOYL it crashes my game before I even get to the skyrim menu.  Any thoughts on why this might be happenning?  Something I forgot so install?  I can also load DAYMOYL just fine, but can't get it to work with SD

I just finally figured out the proper load order for all my mods and installed a version of SD and all of it's prerequisites. Played for a while, got enslaved by a Thalmor Justicar. He turned his back on me I snatched the master's key and the bindings remained... Now to clarify my character was in full restraints, so can you steal stuff when in arm binders? Ran away from that dude and activated the dialouge "I need a strong hand to guide me." with a stormcloak soldier, she whipped and enslaved me as well... Now I know what that dialogue triggers. Behaved, got arm restraints removed, stole the key and... still in bindings. Which leads me to my question, safe word is supposed to unshackle me right? How to I even activate it? I ticked the box in SD MCM menu before clicking begin, but I have no idea how to actually use it. Can someone help me? I could get over the bugs if I could just get out of the bindings. So far, once I'm put in them I haven't been able to remove them. Also, would settle for a command in the console to help me with this issue if anyone is aware of one.

What is your load order?  Maybe that's what I'm fucking up.

That's usually due to a missing master file.

 

Try using TES5edit - it will tell you what is missing in your load order.

SafeWord should just cancel your current enslavement if it has gone wrong. It doesn't cover removal of devices.

 

The best way to get rid of bindings is to first start SD properly using the BEGIN option. That will give you access to begging topics and dialogues to ask NPCs (guards, smiths) to get rid of your bindings.

 

You can also get rid of bindings using the default Devious Devices options (Can you help me...).

 

I am aware of issues with stealing. The only bindings from SD used to reduce your lockpicking level. I need to add that back when you have the devious devices armbinders.

Or you can use Wrye Bash. It show mods with missing masters very clearly by red marker.

I have an issue where if I don't check "Limited Removal", once I kill my master, he/she does not have any of the stuff that they took from me. I don't like to play with Limited Removal checked because it makes it way too easy to kill your master. Does anyone have this happen to them or know why it happens?
