LordZulten Posted June 25, 2014 Posted June 25, 2014 Idk if the mod is working properly, or if it somehow got bugged somewhere along the way. Since there's a possibility that I'm trying to "figure out" something that has no solution because it's broken, I'm finally breaking down and asking about it. I'm probably too patient for my own good: if this turns out to be a bug that cropped up, I have SO MANY HOURS of game to play over, again. At some point, when the character became enslaved, there was no longer an option to "please" the master or earn money for him/her. The only option I have is giving items to the "master;" of course, tens of thousands in gold just become confiscated at the same time. I'm told that "slaves have no need for gold." Even though the value of items needed for buyout was originally set to something like 450 gold, I lowered it to 300 when I found the setting (while trying to figure out why I couldn't make any progress, anymore). No matter how the items are valued, I had 6 dragon bones and 6 dragon scales, and I-don't-know-how-many assorted gems in my inventory when I was captured... the dragon bones, alone, have a base worth of 3000 gold; but, the "master" wasn't the least bit inclined to let me go, even after being given EVERYTHING. The only way to make any progress is just to kneel next to the "master" for freakin' EVER while the counter gradually ticks down. I just never have the patience to finish that out-- once I discovered that, no matter what I offered in payment, it was never enough, I just always ended up getting impatient and running away; if I died, the worst that would happen would be that I ended up back with Sanguine. I strongly suspect that I'm supposed to be able to do more than just silently kneel by the "master," offer items, or ask "How am I doing?" (with the items never mattering, no matter how many, or what their value, and asking the question setting my progress back). And, if I offer items, I suspect that some amount of items is supposed to buy my freedom. But, since there might be something about the mod I don't understand, I thought I'd ask. Either way, I need to know what to do. If it's not working, removing/reinstalling this mod is extremely hazardous to my game's health, so I need to know how to go about it (if anything is possible). I saved the game from before I installed this mod; but, I played even more time with the mod than I did without it, so, it won't be a great comfort even if I can roll it back without screwing things up, somehow. I've had this issue as well. I believe the freedom via buyout, "Indentured servant," is supposed to be calculated only using gold. the only way I know to do this is basically by dancing and getting gold for that, then giving it to him. As far as other things to do? There's not much else but waiting or talking to him and getting him mad enough to rape you a couple times (which gets boring after a while). I essentially did the same thing, but I had issues getting the bindings removed, and also lost my ability to sprint somewhere along the way. I could only remove the item via console. As far as uninstalling goes, there's not much you can do to SAFELY remove this mod from a savegame. There's tons of fixes but as most mods go, the only good way of removing is just by uninstalling and starting a new game. The alternative is downloading the immortality fix in the FAQ section, cleaning your save, uninstalling, and disabling any scripts that are still running through the console. I uninstalled once, and just got so fed up with the bugs that I just started a new character. Luckily I am early into my current game now
Gameplayer Posted June 25, 2014 Posted June 25, 2014 Like the mod took me a while to figure out that it was working as intended with Defeat and then a little bit longer to adjust settings. But I still run into an issue that I think needs a safe guard in place, the GAGs from Devices can prevent progression, and worse still you can wind up in Sanguines world unable to ask for release.
Golgo13 Posted June 25, 2014 Posted June 25, 2014 ARRRRGH! I expected as much, but I held out a slim hope that I might be wrong. I can't even try to piss off the master enough to kill me, anymore, because the ONLY dialog options I'm given refer to giving items (which accomplishes nothing) and, "How am I doing?" I no longer even have the option to insult the master to down-grade the relationship. No matter how or when I get gold, if I show up and use the, "I have something for you," dialog option, I'm just told that slaves have no need for gold, and it's taken from me. I can go up to NPC's and tell them that they look lonely, and ask if they'd like some company; when they say, "At that price? Sure;" I then receive a decent amount of coin (despite the current version of Sexlab not updating sexual experience, so pay never goes up). But, whatever I receive is immediately seized with the words, "Slaves have no need for gold," the next time I say, "I have something for you." I can add as much gold as I want via the console-- same thing. Since that, "Slaves have no need for gold," response is programmed in, I guessed that it might be part of the mod-- perhaps, at some point, the mod stopped allowing you to buy your way out with gold. OTOH, my mods often get corrupted and crap out after a while, so, I had to consider that possibility, as well-- apparently, that was the actual case, here. I'm so sick of getting so deep into the game, only to have to start all over, again. I've done it so many times, now, that it's driving me over the edge! I'd hoped that, if I had to reinstall everything, again, they would, at least, have fixed Sexlab to update the sexual experience ranks by then, or there would be updates to the mods I'm playing to give me new content to explore. I'm basically going to have to reinvent the wheel for the 20th time since I bought the game without ever completely reaching the end. * Is there any point in reinstalling, or should I just continue playing with the broken mod? I'd rather play a complete game, beginning-to-end, with the mod working; but, how realistic an expectation is that? Am I just living in a fool's paradise? My enchanting is finally up to the level at which I can put on two enchantments, and if I throw health onto everything I enchant, the fact that SD+ kept reducing me to one hit point will be balanced out to a great extent and keep me from getting into hopeless enslavement situations. Still, it's extremely discouraging to approach this game with the certainty that my mods will inevitably force me to nuke my game and reinstall from scratch. I've never even come close to getting the dragon shouts down.

I've never had to use it, but, there is that pull chain that gets you out of Sanguine's Realm that was put in as an emergency backup measure. Even with a gag, you could still pull the chain. Idk if you'd need to use any dialog option after that, however, which might be restricted. As I said, I've never needed to try using it.

I've never even come close to getting the dragon shouts down. Well in SD's defense, you did know the possibility of a broken game when you installed it. The only option I would suggest is just disabling all the events and leaving it installed. Go on death alternative and set the priority of SD events to 0, and also disable as much of SD as you can. If you like the idea of SD, maybe try submit instead. I mean you could always back up your save and uninstall it, and if you get bugs, just revert to that save and reinstall it as well. Starting over sucks, but it gives you the opportunity to try a new style. I usually just make up some scenario as to why I restarted (got imprisoned and escaped with "X stuff," start a new game, add "X Stuff" via console, and play through again. Of course you lose your power, but you could always dumb down the difficulty so you can catch up fast. With PC skyrim, I have accepted that I will never "beat" the game and I am just playing it for enjoyment. Either way, you're welcome to pm me for some help if you need it, and good luck to you Like the mod took me a while to figure out that it was working as intended with Defeat and then a little bit longer to adjust settings. Golgo13 Posted June 25, 2014 Posted June 25, 2014 @LordZulten: How long does SD+ usually go before falling apart? I'm starting a new game. It turns out that I'm just too compulsive to play the game as it is. But, I've played so much of this stuff to death that I'm thoroughly bored with the parts I've played. The only stuff that's new to me are those things that come near the end of the game, which I've never been able to complete (or even reach) before I was brought down by my mods' instabilities. The other stuff that's new to me are these mods, or changes/additions to them. I've got a long, hard road ahead to reach the game content I haven't seen, yet. It's a less boring chore when I can play the game modded. Sadly, SD+ is the only mod I haven't really "figured out," yet (at least, I don't think I have... the references in the instructions to being force-fed skooma and "hate rape--" events I never encountered-- lead me to suspect that I hadn't encountered everything in the mod as of the time it stopped working). Wondering what was going to happen, next, with SD+... even just wondering if I'd reached the maximum modifiers... kept the game kind of interesting while I played through "the same old same old." But, I guess I have to choose between playing new game content (after another long, hard grind), or playing the mod. *Sigh* In case you just happen to know, what settings would you use in Uncapper to allow you to increase your skill levels without raising your level so quickly? I may be weird, but I like playing a low-level character-- but, my skills increase, I go up in level, and, before I know it, I'm twenty levels higher than the followers I can recruit. I see the settings in Uncapper; but, the instructions are so nonexistent that I could easily end up changing the values to accomplish the exact opposite of my desired end.

I wouldn't say it falls apart. Mods don't really fall apart. The thing is the more mods you enable and disable, the more scripts get loaded into your game. Before I decide to start a new game, I get everything where I want it to be. I use LOOT to sort, TesVEdit to clean, and WyreBash to create a bashed patch. You really have to go through and make sure all your mods are compatible with each other or you will get a lot of crashing and lag and stuttering and freezing. I have found that it is really hard to accidentally stumble upon a lot of content that these mods offer, because I play immersively and hardly encounter any of it. I walk everywhere, talk to almost everyone, and follow quests through. You will encounter some of the stuff, but most of it you just have to know where to look. I don't use uncapper, but if you have the follower issue then maybe try AFT, because it keeps your followers close to your level, and auto-levels them for you. I enjoy new characters but I play them to get powerful. I never make it that far, unfortunately lol. A nice thing to do is to break yourself from your normal playstyle. Tell yourself "Okay, not using heavy armor, not using one handed, and not using destruction." It makes for a fun experience each time.
Marcus01 Posted June 26, 2014 Posted June 26, 2014 I am being pulled into Sanguine's Realm sometimes when I am just normally sleeping in a bed, leaving Sanguine's Realm I always awake in Riften, downstairs in Helga's Bunkhouse, no matter where I initially slept at. Is it possible to disable this? I am using Requiem and have fast travel disabled and it is very annoying. To get back to where I was initially I have to pay to use the carriage which means I need to also find blood as I play a vampire and I also have to satisfy the Realistic Needs and Diseases of my character since it's considered fast travelling.

If you pull the chain to get out of Dreamworld, you will always go back to Riften as a safe spot. If you ask Sanguine, the first few times, he will send you back to where you were, then he will send you to Riften a few times, then to a random location. After enough teleports, he will ask you where you want to go. I can't remember how many exactly but hang in there and eventually you will be able to decide where you want to teleport back to Tamriel. I am using iNeeds and Requiem with no fast travel, and it is perfectly playable

Gameplayer Posted June 26, 2014 Posted June 26, 2014 Escaped Slave, "Will you be my new master?" Adventuring Hero, "Hmm so tempting!" looks at slave up and down. Slave, "Oh it'd make me ever so happy to please you!" Hero, "Uh hmm well I uh see I don't feel comfortable with slavery...Don't you want to be free? I could cut those bonds really easily it'd only take a few minutes." Slave, "Oh please don't do that, I live only to serve and make the master happy. Wouldn't you like to be my new Master, I'm very good at it, no one else can please you the way I can." Hero, "Uh wow uh mmm, what a find....What err happened to your master?" flushing as the slave presses her body against him. Slave, "Oh don't you worry about what happened to my old master, your my new Master now!" Hero, "On your knee's Slave!" Slave, "Oh yes! Your so Big and Strong, I'm sure you'll last longer than my old master!"
Gameplayer Posted June 26, 2014 Posted June 26, 2014 Encounter with a Necromancer Lord. Slave, "Master, is there anything else that I can do to please you?" Lord, "I'm very pleased with you my pet, you've accepted your training very well and I've decided its time for you to make a choice and join my cause." Slave, looking rather bored and displeased..."hmm what was that Master?" Lord, "I simply ask that you become one of us." Slave, "Oh, how boring...That simply wont do, you've failed me master now I'll have to find a new master. You've grown so weak with your training, I was so hoping to train you properly to be my Master. Oh well." Lord, confused and agitated, "My training!? Heel Pet on your knees....oohhh, I feel so tired..." Dropping to his knees, looking about he notices his skin has an aweful pale grey paler. Slave, "Oh don't be angry old master, you'll have your place keeping Sanguines pets in line, and I'm sure you'll serve him well after all I trained you." Former Lord, collapsing to the floor, "Wha...aaahhghh ts happened to me my strength is...grrahh. YOU tricked me you harlot." Slave, "You were so easy to train didn't you realize the chastity belt was for your safety.? I was hoping to prolong your life with the use of your apprentices, but unfortunately your harem just had to go and well the young Brevon his inexperience with the sexual arts he didn't last long enough to satisfy me." Smiling, "Hmm, I was so hoping that you would be stronger than my other masters. Well how about one last favor before your life in this world ends?" Former Lord, "aaa mpphh..."

Gameplayer Posted June 26, 2014 Posted June 26, 2014 I've got other idea's too. Say your character is in service to a "Bandit" you approach a "Bandit Outlaw or higher rank." A check is made when you ask for the Outlaw or Lord to be your new master. Outcome could be a fight between the two characters...Thing is the escape check and cloak would have to be suspended...Perhaps a check in place to see if the player is a seccubus as well, because then the PC is so desirable that the higher level bandit would prize having the player character whereas if the player wasn't a seccubus or bimbo they might just say leave me be you piece of trash or some such line.
Golgo13 Posted June 26, 2014 Posted June 26, 2014 @LordZulten I don't know what terminology would be appropriate; but, I got the distinct impression when reading the description that SD+ promised a greater than typical possibility of some kind of game-wrecking corruption cropping up, which doesn't appear related to the presence or absence of other mods. That was why I was reticent about installing it in the first place. I like the mod; but, I was interested in knowing (if you happened to know, yourself), how long one could expect one's game to function with SD+ installed. Each time one of my games craps out on me, rather than run the risk of any latent corruption causing me trouble down the line, I just delete all of my game files and reinstall the game from scratch. I only run mods that are supposed to be compatible with one another-- typically, mods that require one another as prerequisites, or that have patches made specifically to facilitate their use. If I have any doubt, I don't use a mod; if I've had any trouble with a game in which I had two mods going at the same time, I just don't use the mod I can more easily live without. The fact that I've been doing this by trial-and-error for so long is the reason why so much of the game has simply become a grind to me; but, the result has been that I've found which mods I can safely use together for protracted periods of time. The exception to all of this is SD+. I tried an early incarnation of it back before ordinary SD was taken off the market as inactive; but, I ran into problems, and so went back to running ordinary SD. When that stopped being supported, altogether, SD+ had acquired its warning that it was potentially dangerous; so, I just played without any version of SD. But, my desire to try this mod finally got the better of me, and I decided to roll the dice. And, now, here I am. My chronic, intractable migraines have been basically out of control for five (or, is it six?) months, now. I can barely even get through reinstalling the game properly distracted by so much pain; so, trying to learn how to master new tools like TES5Edit and WryeBash just aren't in the cards for me, atm. Whenever a mod states that it requires the use of either of those, I just keep walking. I used to create patches for FO3 with the equivalent tool they had for that game; but, Medicare was paying for medicine that worked back then. Frequently, I feel too sick even to open my eyes; but, lying in bed all of the time is BORING. Simply playing this game doesn't tax my brain; but, it can take me days to reinstall it, since I don't want to make a mistake, and trying to think through this pain is like trying to see through a blizzard. I don't install/uninstall mods while I'm playing-- I have too much experience with scripts becoming corrupted for no reason, at all, to give them a real excuse to become corrupt. When I'm merely installing the game, if I accidentally get something out of order, rather than take a chance on running into problems after hours and hours of play, I just delete my folders and start over, then and there. I make sure that my mods are working, then I play. If I so much as need to upgrade a mod, I start a new game. It's a pain in the ass and has made the game tedious as Hell-- I can get through some dungeons in my sleep, and I can't wait for NPC's to spit out their dialog, which I have completely memorized, by now. It's hard to feel "immersed" when you already know exactly what's going to happen before it does. I've tried playing different styles-- I'm just kind of out of different styles to try by now. I've reached 100 in everything. First, I played a thief type, since that's my natural style of play in any game; but, I moved on to playing different styles of mages, and even a warrior type (although that's not my cup of tea-- I just did it out of desperate boredom). I, also, like to play immersively. I even have a difficult time being "mean" to the completely nonexistent, virtual characters; and I feel bad that I can't let the housecarls in my vacant houses care of more of the unattended orphans I encounter in my travels (I always adopt the girl in Windhelm and the boy in Dawnstar because, without me, they have no one, and have to live out in the cold ). I, also, play quests through-- I've played almost all of the quests through. I've unlocked 83% of the accomplishments (a few are "locked, although I have no idea why)-- but, something always goes wrong before I get any further. Well, I'm actually in too much pain to finish this, proof-read it, or even figure out if I addressed whatever my original point was, atm. I was conversing with you; and I had a point... I hope that I got to it somewhere in there. It's "thinking" like that that prevents me from learning how to use new programs like TES5Edit. It's why I had to give up my job and go on Disability. *Sigh*
Gameplayer Posted June 27, 2014 Posted June 27, 2014 Golgo13 Dude you need to get Mod Organizer, seriously don't use any other mod installer, with MO you never have to reinstall a fresh Bethsada game ever again. Sorry about your migraines.

That would be nice but it is unfortunately not possible with the way Skyrim is designed. There are relationships between NPCs, but there is no hierarchy or other meaning between these relationships. They are just labels, so in practice, there is no way to compare two NPCs to see who is higher on the food chain. For that, I would have to create a hierarchy of my own, for factions I know of... this would immediately break down with other factions from non-vanilla mods.
DeepBlueFrog Posted June 27, 2014 Author Posted June 27, 2014 @Golgo13 - The warnings about SD+ messing up your game come down to two major issues. One has to do with the broken uninstall procedure (or rather, the broken re-install after the mod was unistalled). The lack of a proper shutdown and reset is an issue and is being worked on. The other issue has to do with factions. Joining the faction of your master can cause issues with hostile NPCs becoming too friendly. That can be fixed manually through the console but it will get better once the 'join your master faction' becomes temporary.

xgkf Posted June 27, 2014 Posted June 27, 2014 Could a hierarchy of sorts be done by basing on level, perhaps? I don't know exactly how Skyrim levels NPCs and stuff, but typically a lesser "Bandit" will be outleveled by a "Bandit Outlaw" or similar, correct? If so, maybe that could be the basis for that sort of hierarchy system. </2cents>
DeepBlueFrog Posted June 27, 2014 Author Posted June 27, 2014 So, I've installed SexLab and SD+ following instructions, but every time i try to run game, it crashes after Bethesda logo. And I culdn't post my load order for some reason, so I'm attaching txt file with it. Your load order seems empty when I open it. In any case, download TES5edit and run it on your load order. It will tell you directly when you are missing and what is causing the crash.

Both the "ZaZAnimationPack.esm" and "SexLabAroused.esm" needs to come before the "Devious Devices - Integration.esm" as well. I believe the "HearthFires.esm" needs to come before the "Dragonborn.esm" as well, but not sure if that's strictly necessary. Edit: You also don't appear to have the "Devious Devices - Assets.esm", which is needed for everything Devious Devices.
IIIe Posted June 27, 2014 Posted June 27, 2014 It's nice to see such quick responses. I've got it to run, even managed to begin enslavement quest. However, there is problem with animations. When sex scene begins, I can hear voices, also skins are changing. But characters just stands in place doing nothing.Fnis don't see any of installed mods in its box. I've reinstalled it several times with NMM, and manually. Also, I haven't found any help for this issue on internet. Zazanimations is in the game, but fnis does not see it. edit Fixed that, by installing PC exclusive animation patch. But now there is camera issues. I can't see properly what is happening, because camera during animations is stuck in weird setting, and also I can't look around without moving my character. I'm installing immersive first person view, see what that gves me. There is also very frequent craches. Especially when animation is about to start.

Though I have found that this so-called boss is not always the toughest person in the location, sometimes not even the toughest in the room.
