SOS - Schlongs of Skyrim

Really sorry if this has already been asked before but has anyone managed to make SOS light bigger for npc?

so I have been tearing my hair out over this problem and i cant figure out why but for some odd reason schlongs of skyrim doesn't appear in my load order does anyone know why it does this

Steam? Nexus Mod Manager? Mod Organizer?

You need to say which you are using and "isn't showing SOS".

Most likely though is that you didn't install it properly, it uses a FOMOD installer to install properly.

sorry about that i am using nexus mod manager

and SOS has worked perfectly before i just dont know what happened this time when i reinstalled it

NMM doesn't think you do. Uninstall it and reinstall it, maybe that will get NMM to recognize it.

so I have been tearing my hair out over this problem and i cant figure out why but for some odd reason schlongs of skyrim doesn't appear in my load order does anyone know why it does this

You need to say which you are using and "isn't showing SOS".

Most likely though is that you didn't install it properly, it uses a FOMOD installer to install properly.

ok so i installed it but it crashes because of schlongs of skyrim .esm is missing and i forgot where to find it or what it is

The esm is included in the download for this mod. I would try downloading the archive again and reinstalling it. You either have an incomplete/incorrect version or something went wrong during installation. This is the name of the file you need, which includes the esm:

Just finished a quick test, and everything seems to be OK. The installer worked fine and I didn't find any problem in-game. There is a relatively noticeable seam with the specular maps in beast races, specially on argonians because they are "shiny" and the schlong is not, but apart from that it's seamless on other races. Increasing the size slider in SoS' MCM doesn't seem to make it grow as big as other AddOns though, but I could be mistaken. Anyway, I'd say it's ready. Really good work!

From what I can tell, ERF is using one specular for all races. Changing the ArgonianWhanger textureset's specular to something more fitting would fix it for argonians.

And here's a quick unofficial patch if you are interested in argonians using that great schlong:

It's quick and a savagely rough fix, but it works if you really need it fixed right now.

Feel free to ask to take it down ERF if you don't want this up, and I'll take it down ASAP. Feel free to use the texture ERF, if you want to.

BTW ERF this is amazing.

And to EvilReFlex,

There's an issue with the model's specular color on Argonians. The specular color on the model is a yellowish tint, and when argonians use it, their specular tint is blueish, but the schlong specular tint is yellow. This results in a seam that looks like this:

You can see that the argonian's specular color on the schlong don't match with the body's.

A specular color for the BSLightingShaderProperty block that can fix this is " # a9daff " . You can make a separate model that only argonian's use, but that specular color on the other races blend in anyway, so you can still reuse the same two nif files, just change the specular color of that model and you are good to go.

Here's what it looks like after I edited the model to change the specular color:

Those are the same meshes as the argonian's fixed mesh. All of these quick fixes are in the 7z I provided.

And more information on where that specific specular color comes from: The default SOS bodies have that specular color. It was only easy to spot the incorrect specular color on Argonians, because argonians are basically the shiniest of all the races. The default SOS Smurf and Vectorplexus models also have this specular color mismatch.

Just disable the SOSracemenu esp

That should have it set the Schlong size to the normal 1 - 20 scale set through SOS

Nothing's stopping you from using the old system (remove the SOSRaceMenu.esp). However, the genitals tab is easy to use (once you get used to it). The 1-6 matches the "bones" in the penis. Basically 1 is at the base of the penis and 6 is the head, and the others are spaced out in between. There are 6 adjs for each bones (except for the head/bone 6). The first of the options is kind of a catch-all - it adjs both the length and girth of the bones area. The next 2 are the separate length and girth settings. Finally the last 3 adjust the angle. Personally I would stick to using either the first "adjust all" slider, or the separate length and girth slider for each bone. The benefit is the ability to adj the schlong shape to taste. For example, one of the problems I had with the VP normal schlong is that at a certain size, it looked exactly like the muscular schlong. With the racemenu/genitals option, I can keep the basic shape of the VP Normal and change the length without it ending up looking like a rain barrel glued onto a crotch. But again, if you prefer the old way, don't install the sosracemenu.esp (it is optional in the XPMSE installer) or deactivate it. Now whether or not it will work disabling on a current save? Don't know...

Thank you very much. I was able to do the adjustments but the changes would not stick, they would simply revert to default. I would make them, click 'done" and then when my name came up, click save. Am I missing part of the saving process in reacemenu?

Nope. There are no extra steps needed. Saving the character should save the schlong settings in your save (try doing a full save, then reloading it and see if the schlong gets the size). However, if you are adding this to and modifying an existing character (one that you were using the old system on, then updated using the new SOSRaceMenu), it may not work. Try on a completely new character. If using mod organizer, dupe your profile then start a completely new character with that profile and using SOSRaceMenu and see if you have the same issues.

Yeah, I'm using the hairless version, I have similar seams, but they are only noticeable from a distance.

The first one I have the same issue and it's really noticable, even if using Vector texture.

The second one is because you use a custom texture that is probably not compatible with the hairy version.

I know it since you use one of my custom texture I made for sos, it's only compatible with hairless schlongs.
