Reporting some issues with the Chaste Life and Chaste Spouse quests.

 

Chaste Life:

 

1) If the player character is wearing piercings and plugs when she takes up the offer Master breaks/steals them. The initial action (before you're moved to the other side of the room) removed the rendered item but left the inventory item for the two piercings, and removed both inventory and rendered versions of both plugs. Any belt modifications will repeat the item theft if you've re-added and re-equipped them via the console. I don't think these items should be removed at all during the process - if the chaste wants to be stuck with piercings and plugs tormenting her until she gets married she should be able to.

 

2) Master's dialogue speaks of the Protector Plus items being available in 3 finishes but asking to change the finish gives no options other than sticking with the silver belt.

 

3) Despite Master saying she'd treat the belt as though it were one of her own, when asking for a delivery job she treats it as a regular Protector belt and removes it without adding a replacement.

 

I didn't test Chaste Life any further as these issues render the quest/feature unusable at present.

 

Chaste Spouse (played as the dominant in the relationship):

 

1) One cannot change more than one restraint on one's spouse at a time. Speaking to one's spouse about changing their restraints leads to the dialogue box popping up. Selecting any option (belt/bra etc.) works correctly, but then the dialogue box pops up again a second time. Choosing any option at this point does nothing but close the dialogue and conversation. Either the inability to change more than one device is the bug or the menu popping up twice is.

 

2) Having spent large amounts of gold on all the furniture and setting it up I was disappointed to find a bug with it. Telling my spouse to use any furniture except the X-Cross leads her to entering the furniture I chose and immediately exiting it, moving to the next one in the list and repeating all the way along until getting into the X-Cross - the last one in the menu. Surely it can't be expected that you only set up the one piece of furniture you want to use each time and removing it afterwards?

 

3) The "Master come play" greeting triggers even if the player character is already engaging in a SexLab scene. This didn't cause any game or scene breaking issues but I imagine it could potentially do so. It also triggered even though I thought my spouse was using a piece of furniture, though this may be because of some timeout or unloaded cell behaviour (the spouse was in the furniture and I left the house for more than 24 hours. Upon returning the spouse ran up to me. And was promptly sent back to the furniture...).

 

PS the Assist a VIP Customer quest (Mr Tavish) triggered for me even though both customer assistance quests were disabled in the MCM. Attempting to progress through the quest via setstage commands caused a game-breaking animation priority bug (standing up again immediately, can't use smelters etc.). Attempting to just jump from stage 20 to stage 800 also caused this bug. The only solution was the stopquest command as soon as it triggered.

You should only need need unpb.zip if you haven't set up your devious devices by running bodyslide, from what I understand.

 

 

No, i dont have done anything with bodyslide .

So, when i install the unpb file, everything is build already and i dont must use bodyslide ? Damn, that would be good news.

 

Btw, without the main files the shop will not be there, right ?

 

 

Correct. No esp no shop. The body files are just the meshes for the devices set up for that particular body type.

 

Also, on the bodies the base nude body included needs placed in the proper folder.

Should be easy enough to change

She should go directly to the item you tell them to and you should be able to have all the items set up at once.

Scripting is the only way to check someone is in a sexlab scene I think. The dialogue is triggered by a simple AI package. As for leaving the furniture they should stay in the furniture as an AI package is set for them to stay in the furniture though the reseting of a cell may have some effect on that.

I will check the startup of the quest but have not had it start on me without it checked. As for the quest itself I know it is broken though I don't know why as only the trigger and ending were changed from v3 to v4.

Hi

I have a special request.

Can the player can be voluntary slave for the captured master, but just for a time, as "training"? I have an idea in my head...

I second this, maybe as a special part of free trial?

 

 

Give me ideas as to what sort of things you are looking for and I will see what I can do in the future.

Finished checking over the bad side of Property Slave and fixed and updated a number of things. During my last run through it went perfectly all the way through to the end.

 

I am checking over the good side of it now. I have been through it a number of times just before the DD updates so what I have should work well but I have to check for places that may remove the quest belt in scenes and not use the updated functions. Also, I will be checking for issues along the way and do what I can to correct them.

 

Manor Slave will only get a quick check over as I plan on making major changes to its structure and tasks soon.

 

I will be checking over Chaste Life and Chaste Spouse

 

I have gone through the delivery quest and it recognizes Protector and Protector Plus item properly now, there were keywords missing from some items and dialogue checks.

 

Confiscation will be rescripted to be more efficient and not end up looping forever.

I am checking over the good side of it now. There is a little problem with embassy : the player always keep his harness, so it's making sex scens fail.

 

Another thing : what will happen afterplayer chose to become personnal slave ? I tested, and I get nothing : no new dialogues, no "dress like doll", etc...

Correct. No esp no shop. The body files are just the meshes for the devices set up for that particular body type.

 

Also, on the bodies the base nude body included needs placed in the proper folder.

 

 

So the items still must be build with bodyslide studio ?

Sorry for the asking but im not good in this with meshes and everything else ^^.

 

And when i understand it right, the uunp body zip is basicly the base unpb body ? in this case i would not need it because i have already installed unbp body , right ?

 the embassy harness is one of those bad keywords items. dito most of the other things you get put into. i've gotten semi-good with the console commands to fix all of that shit as a result.

If you don't have the gold for the others they will not show up I believe.

My character had over 100,000 gold at the time of asking, so this is probably not the issue.

She should go directly to the item you tell them to and you should be able to have all the items set up at once.

She does go to the one I choose, but immediately exits and cycles through in the order they are listed in the menu in a cascading fashion. It may be the AI package has an issue that's also related to the below.

The cell didn't reset as I wasn't away for that long but it might be the package doesn't operate as expected when other AI events trigger (such as the greeting dialogue trigger?).

Possibly related is the last time I visited the store a Guest character is present (possibly the one used in the Assist 02 quest). The PS was mostly to announce a workaround fix in case others have it trigger unexpectedly and don't want to discover a few hours later that they have to rollback.

Is a known issue and posted not far back that this was something that I was fixing as it was a keyword issue.

As stated before a number of times there is currently no Relationship Slave content yet and is high in my priority list.

No, the file has all of the meshes already made it just needs to be installed, the body mesh itself needs placed in the proper folder. When I made the items I used the UNPB body as the template for the UUNP sliders so it should match up to the normal UNPB body.

Hihu , thats my first time for a question/problem .

Sry for my bad English (German ) xD

 

I start the mod via slavestart-option ( boat be a slave for the CDS Mistress) .

After the Smalltalk with the Mistress ( you be my slave and ...) in the mine ,the mineboss guy talks with me too.

So now  the Problem.

 

The dialoge from this guy repeats every time . Get every talk new picaxes and wear . Then i go away from him he follow me and speak the same lines every time.

With this Problem other Events dont start ( see how many ores in Barrel for the sleep part) and i try  via Force Option for this Event , nothing happens.

After create a new char , he speak only one time with me  ( a moment of happyness xD) but now the same repeat dialoge Problem with Havan ( Bodyguard in CDS).

 

So thats my primary problem , some NPC repeat the dialoges.

In fact, I wosh to develop a cross over quest with TID.

 

It's begin by Karetek, Ibn slaves master, visiting the captured dreams Master. (there is a prequel in TID, when the player do the devices trial quest).

The Master will argue Ibn slaves are not very good for services... so, she proposes Karetk loans a slave for a time... Of course, Karetek accept, and loan... the player.

I was playing with CD and I liked it because the player bondage occurs mostly due to player choices that kind of make sense rather than a chest exploding at random.

I did some cognitive dissonance it.

Is being locked in restraints is an undesirable punishment or a desirable privilege?
Is Master is more interested in selling product or keeping the player locked up as much as possible?

To illustrate:

Master offers to sell Player chastity gear.  (Desirable privilege)
Player agrees to deliver a package.
Master insists on locking Player in chastity gear as "security".  (Undesirable).
Player delivers goods and returns to Master.
Master first assumes that the Player wants the chastity gear removed.  (Gear is undesirable).
But then Master offers to allow Player to continue to wear it for a while longer (Desirable privilege).

Then there is the fact that if the player is still in the free trial gear after more than a week, the Master does not object.  The player must ask to have it removed. (Tested up to 30 days).

Here are a couple of imaginary conversation inspired by this mod (just for grins): :)

1) On display
Master: "What do you think about when you see my slaves on display?"
Payer: "I envy them."
Master: "Excellent!"
Master: "Kara has earned a day off, and you are going to be her substitute."
Player: "Uh... I think that would be a bit much for me."
Master: "Nonsense!  We both know you want to."
Master: "Besides, you get to hang out in my shop all day!"

2) Abuse of free trial
Master: "You have been wearing those much longer than I ever intended."
Master: "Look! The finish is worn in places!"
Master: "I can't sell those as new so we may as well call them yours."

The opening in the mine has been the same for a few versions, I don't have issues with it and have been testing Property Slave for the last week or two and have had no issues with the mine scenes at all. The dialogue is started via a Force Greet (used quite a bit in Skyrim) but longer ones like mine can make the AI package in the scene think it did not finish properly and restart hence the repeating dialogue.

 

As for the transition from the mine to the smithy I am going through it right now making minor changes but in the last few versions out now I added commands to forcibly stop the scenes when the new one starts. Again I have no issues with anything repeating, my issue is the devices being applied or not removed when necessary.

 

If it is an error I can't repeat I can't fix it. Also, I test the mod with my full set of mods running so it is not just CD running.

Depends on the character's feelings towards it. For example the player can use a Protector belt because they enjoy it or to keep them safe.

Is Master is more interested in selling product or keeping the player locked up as much as possible?

Some of A and some of B, depends on the situation. Notice she locks you in items for the delivery quest but not for the quest to retrieve a stolen delivery. When making a delivery having items on yourself as a sort of free advertisement while on the recovery it doesn't matter since you are not going to somewhere there is prospective clients. Also she enjoy's seeing people bound or locked in items.

Yes... like the trial, it's just aliases and setstage...

Idea is simple : Ibn slavers train hard work (farm, mine, cleaning), cook, and whore slaves... that's enough for lot of slavers, but Karetek wants to extend her market...

In the previous quest, Karetek and Captured dreams Master have indirect contacts. This time, it could be indirect as well (player gives a letter... Karetek wich to learn how to train high value service slaves)... Captured dreams Master takes the money, and "train" the player as house slave, for example..

I'm having a strange bug and I was wondering if you could point me in the correct direction to fix it.

In short: dialogue strings aren't displaying.
When I talk with a character from the mod they do not move their mouth and nothing happens for a moment, then I can pick from my responses (which do show up). It's like a one way conversation.

The strings in the MCM menu, in the letters, and in the responses I can choose from all seem to be displaying correctly, it is just the dialogue from other characters.
From my other mods Fus Ro D'oh appears to be working, so that is likely not the issue.

I have the 4.05 installed with the 4.08 english update on top, and I believe all the required mods are installed and working.

 

Any ideas as to what could cause an issue like this and potential fixes?

My character is on her fourth free trial, if you can call it "free" that is. :) Is it always the same sales pitch and the same gear?  It seems to be.  I was hoping that a shorter "you know the drill" version so my character can get back to killing dragons quicker.  I was also hoping for some variety (as the color and material preferences seem to only effect the delivery gear).  After a total of about a dozen deliveries and recoveries I would she had earned more privileges than the "You don't need a belt, but I better keep you safe anyway." line.  :dodgy:

 

Also, the free trial was offered at the beginning and is offered after delivery even though "free trial" is turned off in the MCM.  Is it a "to be implemented some day", a leftover or something else?  I did turn it on, but I have not observed any difference in behavior.  But then my character has been in Master's gear more than out of it, so maybe she need to take a few days off. :unsure:

I did not see the Relationship Slave offer.  Either 30 days is not sufficient or I need an MCM setting?

 

My characters submissiveness is somewhat "phase of the moon dependent" if you know what I mean.  Her answers to Master's questions questions are not 100% submissive.  She also likes a day or two out of restraints now and then.

 

She may also dip her toe in the water, and then "chicken out".  When those intersect she doesn't like choices being made for her.  So after turning in a delivery receipt she was tempted to go in the shop and "discuss" keeping the devices, but decided she didn't want to after all...

 

Master: "So, would you like a demonstration?"

Player: "Uh... I don't think so"

Master: "Nonsense!  We both know you want to."

Questions:

Will Master's perception of her still progress toward submissive?

Will taking "time off" from the devices make any "wearing devices for sufficient time" logic start over?

Are Master's questions the only way Master's perception changes or do choices like accepting a free trial, asking to have devices removed?

Will there be some indication when Master's perception has reached maximum dominant?

If Master wants to ask a question, why doesn't she straight out ask when Player addresses her (Master is dominant after all)?

 

She is also curious. While Master's view of her was still "neutral", she  would have accepted a free trial had it been offered.  I could easily imagine the following dialog:

 

player: "May I ask you a question?"

Master: "What is it?"

Player: "What is it like to be locked in restraints?"

Master: "Words can't properly describe it, but you could learn by experience."

Master: "Would you like a free trial?"

 

:idea: Following up on the advertising aspect, Master could borrow a trick from Taarie and offer the Player a reward for appearing before a Jarl with all devices visible.

 

Three minor issues:

After applying the delivery gear the anal plug has a habit of falling out as the dialog winds up.

 

Always getting the same free trial gear is a bit disappointing.

 

One demo happened after hours (Player caught Master walking to the Manor house).  Once Player was all tied up, Master left the shop and wasn't back after five wall clock minutes.  Memo to self:  Always start free trial early.

 

One issue is a bit more frustrating:

The Embassy quest is getting stuck for me too.  Player is not getting "unwrapped" as Elenwen put it.  The whole show stops in the dungeon just after the "busy day" line.  The guard has left the room and I can just see Elenwen standing outside the door and it seems the guard has left the room  Player movement is locked out, and the door is "locked, key required".  If I enable (or disable) player controls they will be reset a few seconds later.  If you can tell me how to force-start this, then I'll be happy to collect any log (and other) data that you think might help.  I'm a software engineer in real life so I'm not afraid to get my hands in the works :)

 

Thanks for an entertaining mod.  There is clearly a lot of it that I have not explored yet.

I'm having a strange bug and I was wondering if you could point me in the correct direction to fix it.

In short: dialogue strings aren't displaying.

When I talk with a character from the mod they do not move their mouth and nothing happens for a moment, then I can pick from my responses (which do show up). It's like a one way conversation.

The strings in the MCM menu, in the letters, and in the responses I can choose from all seem to be displaying correctly, it is just the dialogue from other characters.

From my other mods Fus Ro D'oh appears to be working, so that is likely not the issue.

I have the 4.05 installed with the 4.08 english update on top, and I believe all the required mods are installed and working.

 

Any ideas as to what could cause an issue like this and potential fixes?

 

V4.05 as a default was regionalized and had a set of string files with it (a file for each language) which I believe would have had english dialogue for everything but German. V4.08 is not regionalized so it does not use these string files but uses the dialogue straight from the esp. Most of the time I uncheck the 'Has LIP file' in the dialogue so that may be why though I never really paid attention to it.

Player agrees to deliver a package.

Master insists on locking Player in chastity gear as "security".  (Undesirable).

Player delivers goods and returns to Master.

But then Master offers to allow Player to continue to wear it for a while longer (Desirable privilege) Leads to Free Trial

My character is on her fourth free trial, if you can call it "free" that is. :) Is it always the same sales pitch and the same gear?  It seems to be.  I was hoping that a shorter "you know the drill" version so my character can get back to killing dragons quicker.  I was also hoping for some variety (as the color and material preferences seem to only effect the delivery gear).  After a total of about a dozen deliveries and recoveries I would she had earned more privileges than the "You don't need a belt, but I better keep you safe anyway." line.  :dodgy:

Currently the dialogue in that section has about 8 different variations depending on various conditions, adding more gets complicated as the more conditions added the easier it is to make a 'hole' where dialogue ends. I have things I want to add later (use of one of the VIP Rooms for several days or things like that) but have yet to build them. Connecting all of these quests together can be tricky, an example is the punishments as there are 4 different startup routines depending on your status and I know that I will need to make 1-2 more.

 

Also, the free trial was offered at the beginning and is offered after delivery even though "free trial" is turned off in the MCM.  Is it a "to be implemented some day", a leftover or something else?  I did turn it on, but I have not observed any difference in behavior.  But then my character has been in Master's gear more than out of it, so maybe she need to take a few days off. :unsure:

The one in the Delivery Dialogue (line when asked if you want out your response ends with 'Master') leads to the Free Trial though I had thought it was set to allow you to back out (I will check and make any adjustments as needed)

Then there is the fact that if the player is still in the free trial gear after more than a week, the Master does not object.  The player must ask to have it removed. (Tested up to 30 days). Master figures if you want it off you will ask, whether she removes the items depends on the submissiveness of the player. Eventually this will be a lead into the Relationship Slave if submissive and you wear the items for a sufficient amount of time.

I did not see the Relationship Slave offer.  Either 30 days is not sufficient or I need an MCM setting?

Sorry, by 'Eventually' I mean that when it is set up. It should not take much to do but will require setting up a method of tracking its use and the scenes/dialogue to do it.

 

My characters submissiveness is somewhat "phase of the moon dependent" if you know what I mean.  Her answers to Master's questions questions are not 100% submissive.  She also likes a day or two out of restraints now and then.

 

She may also dip her toe in the water, and then "chicken out".  When those intersect she doesn't like choices being made for her.  So after turning in a delivery receipt she was tempted to go in the shop and "discuss" keeping the devices, but decided she didn't want to after all...

 

Master: "So, would you like a demonstration?"

Player: "Uh... I don't think so"

Master: "Nonsense!  We both know you want to."

Free Trial startup depends on your submissiveness, if you are sufficiently submissive she won't take no for an answer. It should have a cooldown time between being released and being offered again of several days though

Will taking "time off" from the devices make any "wearing devices for sufficient time" logic start over? No. Sub/Dom trait is only changed by how you answer questions.

Are Master's questions the only way Master's perception changes or do choices like accepting a free trial, asking to have devices removed? Currently the main ones are in the 'Q and A sessions' with the Master, Assistants and Smiths and some responses to questions here and there in quests, it isn't consistent as of yet. Each time I want to adjust the value during dialogue requires a script specifically for that dialogue response, this is a big part of why CD has 1700+ scripts.

Will there be some indication when Master's perception has reached maximum dominant? I am looking into adding some dialogue (mainly greetings) based on the sub/dom trait when I start adding dom content. There is a lot of dialogue I have been wanting to add not only to the main npc's but also the lesser ones (guards and workers).

If Master wants to ask a question, why doesn't she straight out ask when Player addresses her (Master is dominant after all)? I had to build Master's dialogue (as well as other npc's dialogue) in such a way that it blocks out all other dialogue including that from other mods. The priority on it runs in the high 90's (out of 100). The 'Q & A session'  was made mainly as just a way to modify the player's sub/dom scores in a simple method at the time as it has been around for a while.

Unless you ask for it you need to be in the lower end of neutral for it to be offered. Your sub/dom value starts at 10 but the offer doesn't start until it is a 9 so basically it waits until you have taken your first step down that path.

I already have a quest in mind for something like that. Basically it is to deliver an offer to the Jarl an invitation to a casual party (to be made at a later date). I also have plans on having the player taken to a major city while bound and given the task of selling devices to other npc's.

Belt may be an open back belt, the routine to add plugs doesn't check for the belt type since the plugs are added first.

Free Trial was made before the various color differences and such were available, it has been around for a while. It is on my to do list but not high on it as there are others that are far more out of date, broken or needs connected to other quests.

She is set to release you after about 30 minutes in game or so (actually it is supposed to be 1//2 hour to 2+ hours depending on your replies but it isn't working right) so her evening AI package kicked in. She likely walked back to the house and started her AI routine's there and walked back once the release timer expired.

Try using the console to unlock the door and use moveto player on her to see if the force greet starts. The door there is acting odd in that the physical part of the door is disconnected partially from the door itself which is why there seems to be a barrier in front of it, same goes for the side door to the VIP house.

 

Thanks for an entertaining mod.  There is clearly a lot of it that I have not explored yet.

Hello, i think i have a problem or bug but maybe its normal im not sure :( so basically i got a second quest in thalmor embassy master put on me leg/arm cuffs gag and blindfold i spend night with guards...etc then i back to Shop with master and she said that this should teach me a lesson and she didnt unlock items ok then i dont know why i need a lesson ii didn't do anything wrong and tried to wait like 10 days and she still dont want to unlock thems and one more thing after we back to the shop i can start same quest again i mean master says lets get you ready for the trip or something like that and nothing happening. Any idea how to fix it ? 

 

@i can disable thalmor embassy in mcm but will this work/help if i already got letter with quest ?

Thanks for the quick reply.  And I understand the need to prioritize what you are now working on rather than getting fragmented so that nothing ever gets finished.

 

Since the post is getting rather big, I won't quote the whole thing.  I'll just clean up a few things I apparently didn't say very well.

 

On the free trial following a delivery, if you do not chose "It's tempting..." then it ends.  But if you say "It's tempting..." then you are past the point of no return.  In other words, the player can't toy with the idea and decide not to just before the devices get locked on.  Or if she wavers, Master won't take "no" for an answer.  The submissive girl needs to be sure of herself :) I now believe this is intentional based on one of your replies, but it means my girl has to be a bit more sure of herself than I wanted.

 

I meant to say "Will there be some indication when Master's perception has reached maximum submissive?"  Oops!  I guess what I want to know is "When can I stop prompting Master to ask questions?"

 

The anal plugs fell out of harnesses.  Pear of Anguish plugs (which are not supposed to need a belt) fell out.

 

I will attempt you suggestion next time the embassy quest becomes available.  Is there a way to make it be available?

Is there a release date for the next patch? I don't want to hurry you, but from what i read you already finished a lot of fixes, and since i was stupid and have to start a new game anyways, it would be nice if i could use those. :)

Or if you need somebody to test your fixes, i can spend some time to try stuff with CD only (more or less, some mods like apropos i don't want to miss even when testing. ;))

You can remove the items via console, they are not being removed due to missing keywords on the items (fixed for v4.9)

 

Open the console and select your charater

- look for items with no name, ignore the item ending in 40f0c

- use 'removeitem <id>' on the other items with no name

- open your inventory and unequip the items showing in the inventory, they should unequip without keys or anything else

- Items such as belts or armbinders/yokes have a quest associated with them so you should replace them with a standard type item and remove it via normal means to get the quest to end.

 

 

As for the Thalmor Embassy quest you can choose to ignore the letter, it is not required for you to participate in it. Just make sure you don't accidentally choose to do it in the dialogue if it is still there. I will look into the issue of sending the letter when the quest is disabled.
