Srende Posted December 24, 2013 Posted December 24, 2013 I'm not sure how but I think I ended up making a bug with the shop where Eirid (little girl from the Frozen Hearth Inn) keeps hiring thugs to come after me. I used the inn as a base for the shop, copied and removed almost everything, but I think there is a reference still on something. It is funny though. You might still have the location / faction / something set to the one Eirid uses

Still think it is funny that a little girl is hiring thugs though. Considering how bratty most of them are I can totally see them doing it though.

There should not be anything in the basement that should cause an issue but I had a crash after the 2 Smiths had sex but I couldn't reproduce the crash again. The only scripts on anything in the basement is in the dialogue of one of the smiths, other than that pretty much everything is standard Skyrim items. There are a few other things I need to clean up from the original inn that I copied it from so there might be something left over from that causing an issue as well. Oh, does it seem to crash more / less / no difference if the slaves are down there for the night?

I have not made any scenes as of yet. The quest is a small hidden quest: The quest is started by finding several notes or listening to some dialogue parts. Going through them will allow you to buy keys for the chastity devices and restraints. Costs on them are high but vary in price depending on who you are able to buy them from. It is either the Master (75 speechcraft) or the Smith De'Zra (45 speechcraft). Currently there are no notifications or anything but it has been added in the next update. There will probably be a major release in the Assets, Integration and Captured Dreams hopefully this weekend. I think that once this update is out work will probably resume on the questline Zadil, Min and I have been working on. this has several times the amount of dialogue and is not a straight linear quest. What happens to you is truly up to you.

What can go wrong? Quest 3 - Chase down an escaped slave, beat them up, bind them then return them. Story setup and dialogue I can do but the dialogue tends to be a bit rough. The big quest in production has a lot of parts as it is modular setup. I wrote 20-30 pages in laying out the general story and flow. Zadil comes in and provides the killer models and breathes some life into my writing. Min's job is to take the choose your own adventure porn we have written and cram it into Skyrim. I think I better end this post before my medications make it completely unable to type anymore.

My goal is to have a variety of shoppers to help at various times. Also want to have some interaction between the player and npc with a number of things that could happen. Most of this hinges on me figuring out how to do it as I am learning as I go.

I think I better end this post before my medications make it completely unable to type anymore. all of them would be amazing to put inside the mod itself! i suggest you start from the most basic ones and move to the more hard to code later so you keep the momentum and the spirits high! but... you know what will be really cool? an integration/collaboration with SD+ to get handed over by the bandits/thugs to the shop if enslaved nearby: until you repay your debt or been sold to another npc, the PC will be forced to display the master toys while random npc's come to try different items on you, at night you get some sleep in the cells with all the other slaves.

You would have to first steal them and then somehow break the curse that they grow back to normal size. Or you could just steal them and become their new master and use them as decoration in your home. Maybe you could even expand them to full storage devices, then you could shrink followers and store them in your home as decoration objects and when you want to interact with them you temporarily bring them back to normal size via a spell or something similiar. All of that would have to be learned somehow and could involve lots of nasty quests.

The only other way to get them into the game is to have this mod use the mods that the items are from as a master and add them directly to the shop. While that is almost the same process that the merge patches were made it would require having esp's for the Captured Dreams shop for every possible combination. Pretty much every mod that adds items to NPC,s or containers (furniture, chests etc) add items to a leveled list. These lists can be set to add either a single item, multiple items or everything in the list to something and there are hundreds of them in Skyrim (nearly 100 in this mod as well). Any mod that changes a list (to add something or change how items are distributed) will be overwritten by any mod loaded after it that changes it as well. Wrye Bash will combine all of those changes into the bashed patch it makes so all of those changes appear in the game. I can understand why you are hesitant to use Wrye Bash and it seems like so many hoops to go through to add mods (BOSS, FNIS, Wrye Bash and TES5Edit). When I started playing Fallout 3 and Oblivion everyone said to use it but never really explained why so I never really used it properly. It isn't just my mod that can benefit from it but any mod that adds items especially if you have several of them. If you absolutely don't want to use Wrye Bash then just choose 1 jewelry patch and 1 armor patch as more than that will just have lists overwritten. Below are instructions I posted earlier in the thread on making a patch. If you decide to use it and have problems or questions just ask. I am happy to help and I am sure there are others willing to as well. See post # 67 for the links and picture. A Bashed Patch is something that Wyre Bash can build and if you have a number of mods that add items to the world is essential to get them all to appear. If you add a number of mods that add items, such as adding custom armor to bandits, which ever one is the lowest in your load order will overwrite the others and the rest won't appear. The Bashed Patch collects all the edits to the leveled lists from th different mods and puts them all together so they all show up. This function is what most people use from it starting out (there are a number of utilities and such in it but you don't need to worry about them) and was the reason I started using it. Step by step instructions to use Wyre Bash: You can download it here: http://www.nexusmods...&preview=&pUp=1 you just need the installer (top file). It gets installed to the Skyrim directory. Documentation for it is here: http://oblivionworks...ral Readme.html and the info on the Bashed Patch is about halfway down. When you first run it it will create a bashed patch, go ahead and let it create it. If you don't see the merge files in the patch yet that is ok (see pic for example). If you don't see the files in the bashed patch: move the bashed patch to the bottom of your load order as it only picks up things that are higher up in the order. Once it is moved, right click on the bashed patch and select Rebuild Patch and it will do it again. The merge patches should show up in it now. You should do this whenever you add mods that add items to the world. Once the bashed patch is made you can uncheck the merge patches and make them inactive as they are now merged into the bash patch (any mod that appears in the merge patches section of the bashed patch can be deactivated (Wyre Bash will pick them up even if they are inactive so long as they are above it in the order). I used one of the 4-step picture guides out there, and it took me like ten minutes altogether.The only wonky thing I've noticed is the models in this mod seem to only use the red catsuit and accessories from the Shiny Rubber Catsuits mod, but that could be pure luck so far-- I haven't tested it extensively.

The strapons are actually set as sold by the Master so they don't count as either. Do you mean Zadil? He is the one that made the belts, Min created the locking scripts for them and I have been scattering them about Skyrim. We have been collaborating on the quests in the Integration mod and helping test various things (I am good at breaking things).

Sorry about the double post, but I'm coming back to report lol So I finally found the shop and overall I think things are headed in a very nice direction! However I found a few things worth mentioning, and please don't take any of this as me being greedy or whiney, just trying to help point out some problems, however my apologies in advance if any/all of these have already been mentioned D: 1) Upon entering the shop I get bombarded by all sorts of messages regarding belts, plugs and the like, and it's all the gear that the slaves are wearing. Something like "Tessa's belt prevents you from... something something" and stuff like that, which I'm gonna guess shouldn't be happening 2) *This is a special one because I don't even recall where/in which topic I read this, but there's supposed to be a way for a Blacksmith to remove your chastity belt and what not? however if this -is- supposed to be the case, no blacksmith would do anything to my gear. 3) After finding -the- way to be able to set myself free, the -item- works on every piece of gear -except- the set of cuffs (and not sure if any other, I haven't been able to try those, but the one that has all the cuffs for all the character's limbs; even though I had more than enough -items- the only option I'd get from the cuffs would be to force them open (Trying to keep my post as spoiler free as my brain allows me lol). 4) I am not 100% sure how is this happening, perhaps it's linked to those messages mentioned in "1)", but I get all sorts of free items/gear/equipment in my inventory all of the sudden, things I'm 100% certain I did not buy. 5) There are very very few typos throughout the text content in this mod, but there are some. I can't remember exactly in which dialog I saw them, but if you're interested I'm sure I can trace my steps and find them. 6) The tiny mannequins on the counter not only have "human"-like faces/heads -and- move while they are "restrained", but they also speak to me as I pass by them. Extremely creepy stuff right there 7) Hitting the slaves with the Crops you can buy in the shop will make them cycle through sex furniture; Say if they were kneeling against a wall, you hit them, and they will suddenly be standing up, spread eagle chained to the floor and ceiling and what not. This is all I've found so far, though none of it has been big enough to make me not enjoy the mod Well, maybe except for the set of cuffs that I have no idea how to detach from myself lol. I hope you guys keep working on these, and best of luck On #1, Min posted a patch to fix this in the Integration mod that fixes the issue, here it is: ftm-patch.rar On #2, There are minimum speechcraft requirements to be able to do the mini dialogue quest - 45 and 75 depending on the route, On #3, It should have worked for everything, don't know why it didn't. It would be something to ask Min about in the Integration mod thread. On #4, patch in #1 fixes this as well. On #5, If you find any let me know. I am usually pretty careful with things like that and usually when I notice it I immediately go back and correct it. On #6, The mannequins I used are the normal mannequin race, all adjustments are on the actor side of things. Do you have any mods that change the default mannequins as that would effect them as well. I will probably end up creating a separate mannequin race at some point. On #7, Any interaction with the slaves will have them change their position, still trying to figure out what I need to do so they don't do that but still be able to interact with them. I have an update ready for the mod but it will be released after Min releases his update, should be soon. There are only a few changes currently so I may see about fixing the mannequins before the release. Changes on the next release: Added some quest notifications to the dialogue quest Added a guard to the shop Master, Assistants and slaves will reselect an outfit in the morning (an issue I thought I fixed in some of the outfits is still there so the Master ends up with every outfit available to her so it typically won't change. Will need to put up new merge patches again so I will probably add more items from those mods to npc's) Change to apparel of one slave to be a special display

The only typo that comes to mind, it being one of the very few, is at some point when the dialog (or could have been a message window popup thingy) references something, and there are 2 "the"s in the sentence. It's nothing major really, but all the more reason to correct it and make it all perfect Anyway, thanks again I'll be back!
