I've got a problem on the last night at the embassy when Elewin puts the harness onto the player for the 3rd sex scene and the game breaks and I get a windows error message saying its a "pure virtual error",so not ur normal CTD crash. I tried 4 times to get (what i assume is the very last scene of the mission) to work but same crash and error each time when she puts the harness on and "Start Elewin Sex" message appears. I believe that all my mods and plugins are installed and setup correctly but I cant be sure as there are a 146 of em and I'd like to avoid going through each of them. I would really appreciate it if someone knew what the problem is.

Also very well done on the mod creation. Surprised at how well its works and how little crashes (apart from my current problem ofc).

 

The latest versions of ZAZ seem to have issues with bound sex animations. Open the Devious Devices MCM menu and disable the bound sex animations and it should work from there.

Thanks for the quick reply however I did what u suggested but unfortunately that doesn't fix it. This is the error message i get and its not an in-game error or anything post-387987-0-17425700-1438362337_thumb.png .

I fixed it. I did a clean re-install (and i already have 146 plugins i know) and i forgot to verify the integrity of the game cache. For anyone else with the same prob go to steam library and right click skyrim >Properties> Verify Integrity post-387987-0-77975600-1438363292_thumb.png

That error is from SexLab (it is what is crashing the game) and is usually caused by the bound animations. As I remember the newer versions of ZAZ also have an option to disable the bound animations as well somewhere.

It is for minor commentary that is not important to open full dialogue for but I wanted some sort of comment from the player's character.

It is for minor commentary that is not important to open full dialogue for but I wanted some sort of comment from the player's character.

'Player Voice' does kind of break the immersion. I like the idea of my character throwing in some commentary during scripted scenes, but if possible it should appear with the player characters name. If i'm not mistaken, there is a function to set an actors name, and also one to get the players name, so that should work. And then it's a great feature imo.

Because it uses the alias's name it is a bit harder to do something with but I will keep looking into it.

1. All items from the Embassy quest should have been removed at the end of that quest, they are items made specifically for that quest. They can be removed by any of the quest resets that remove any of the CD quest devices.

 

2. That is a Havoc issue, the door blocker is part of the door itself and not separate.

 

3. Use of the items from ZAZ is handled with an AI package that tells the player to 'sit in it' like any other furniture. I am experimenting with some other methods of using the devices in the Chaste Spouse quest and if they work I will use them in that as well.

 

4. The speed in which dialogue passes is controlled by the game engine and/or Fus Ro D'oh. I know the latter can be adjusted to show dialogue longer.

 

5. Disable bound animations in Integration (Devious Devices MCM menu), newer versions of ZAZ cause the crashes much more regularly than older versions do (I still use v 6.04 myself)

1. The "extra" items were not removed, unfortunately. Gag, blindfold and armbinder were re-equipped, compared to another try I did of the quest arriving only with the items originally equipped by Master.

however, if you say that it works as intended, I would trust your judgement here.

 

2. Glad to hear you are on top of this. If you need any further tests done, I would be glad to.

4. Understood. Wanted to report the item just in case.

 

5. Is there a way to fix/diagnose this somehow? This is something that happens repeatedly for me for 4 tries on the quest and only in the first case of the cell. Any other time you are brought back the door is fine.

 

Otherwise I feel strange that there are so few bugs. Very great job. Please keep up the good work.

I second that. Of course doing fancy scripting is way cooler, but if this results in a too error prone program, just stick with "You"

make voiced dialogue optional or i will not be playing your mod. end of story,Vel. i don't want to hear it. it may not sound like much to you. but it is definitely going to ruin immersion to hardcore roleplayers like me

 

 

Well, I will play the mod, with or without the voice. Veladrius has worked hard and this is one of my favorite mods.

 

I am already using character voice in my game, so hearing her to speak few words will not ruin immersion to me at all. :)

The only reason for the use of the 'Player Voice' is dialogue where I would only be giving the player a single dialogue option and would not have to use a force greet to give one line of dialogue and then start the scene again, it is a pain in the ass and another place where it can be broken. The dialogue is not voiced (no audio) nor will it ever be even if the rest of the mod would be.

Trust me man - if he would ever get the idea to get this voiced it would be the end of CD.

 

because after adding 20 voice files you're are getting bored.

after 50 you seriously start to hate it

after 100 you are ready to drop it to hell

 

and he would have to do 7000....

 

There is nothing that is more boring in moding than adding voices.

I seriously doubt that this will ever be voiced because of the size of the mod and amount of dialogue. That, and as aqqh said, I would have to attach each voice file to each piece of dialogue one by one. I have better ways of spending several weeks of my time than doing that.

Every mod needs a bit of drama, now and again. Shows people are awake.

At least we never reached the point of admins deleting posts, and in German at that.

You probably didn't mean it in a bad way but it may have come off badly. I'm not trying to be rude to you (according to your sig you get that a lot) but it came out a little rude. People should probably be more lenient over the internet where typing the correct words in English isn't exactly the easiest for everyone. But calling everyone cyber bullies isn't helping. It might be a good idea to let the issue drop and by tomorrow they'll have forgotten.

what did i do wrong,here PLEASE!  i just said that i didn't like one change. then got insulted. i explained about the right to dislike something. got insulted. again and again.. :(  i am going to give up on life. it's horrible everywhere now..
