Douma Posted October 19, 2014 Posted October 19, 2014 (edited) I love the updates (and the mod in general). Impressive work! Though I seem to be having a problem with the embassy quest. I went in, past the chapter with Elenwen, then I got used by the guards and spend the next night in the cell. But the next morning, when I am supposed to "try new furniture", I got stuck in an endless loop where the thalmor assistant just keeps doing the animation of handling me more things but nothing happens. And it stays there with nothing else occurring. I tried to move around by forcing human control on the Zaz menu, and it appears to be some problem with the furniture, because I can seem to interact with any of it. And as a matter of fact, the scen gets stuck with my character right in front of the wooden rack. Any ideas what the problem could be? I have the latest updates of everything. Thanks! Master's dialog still stops, Jarl reference None. Thanks The jarl reference is probably what is causing the issue. since there isn't a scene for Dengeir setting the global should work: Set CDxEQ01jarl to 2 That should let the dialogue for Dengeir to be used. Thanks, I will try it now. Haven't got to the second quest but love what I see so far. Well thought out. I thought I had screwed up the 2nd delivery but it seems it is planned to make you ask again and get cuffs for not listening.
formanfred Posted October 19, 2014 Posted October 19, 2014 Hi Vel; thank you for this update I am amazed at how much content there is , I had a problem with things not starting using a game save from using version 2.82 so I reinstalled skyrim and everything works a lot better,thank you again for all your hard work and your testers also.

It uses a combination of your speechcraft, some dialogue choices (a +20 to -5), your relationship rank (+20 per rank) and a bit of randomness (+/- 15) that is combined to come up with a value, if it is greater than 75 then it will continue. Thanks Bandits not acting correctly is probably leftover AI behavior from a previous version, they are very difficult to get them to change. With an existing game, the bandits don't seem to exist(?) at all. Like someone mentioned, they didn't show up, and I was seeing errors about them being none when they were trying to be moved with MoveTo(). I don't have the specific log anymore though, too many game restarts testing other stuff. Also: Not sure if this was mentioned somewhere, but after spending the first night in the Thalmor Embassy basement, Elenwen comes to let the PC out of the cell, but doesn't actually open the door. Last thing that happens is the "you're gonna have a busy day" line, after that she just stands there doing nothing. The bandits are handled almost entirely through their aliases. When bandits are not being used the aliases are cleared so they don't try to show up when they should not (had that happen), when the delivery starts the bandits are forced into the aliases and moved but only the active bandits should be moved (should not attempt to move unused ailases). As it is, the aliases allow them to be dead, disabled or optional (needed since they are not filled initially) so they should fill with no issues. While aliases and I get along a bit better it is still a love / hate relationship on both sides (lots of begging, pleading and threatening).

You should not have to get the cuffs but if there is a delay in the scripts it can drop you out of the dialogue. Some parts seem to work better on a new game as there are a lot of things that don't like to change. I replaced things with new items instead of changing them wherever I could as that worked better but it was not possible in every case.

Check your log for errors, there is likely something slowing down or stopping the scripts.

There are no levels in the ledger. I auto started quest 3 now, and there is a mine and ppl walking inside and outside it. That looks normal. And that freaking free trial quest ruins everything. Its about 3 weeks past, and that bitch won't remove them. I like the idea, but can we have an mcm option to make it not last for eternity?? I'm not into that if you don't even know if they will be removed, and it breaks with assist customer, and other remove and equip quests. So u can have free trial quest active, and have nothing equiped.

Waited 24 hours, character locked and I got the "Haron is coming to release me" or similar message but waiting 5 minutes shows nothing, tried sleeping or using the wait function, nothing happened. Background: character has rank > 13 with all parties, disposition 15, eradi is slave in my house There's no quest in my log for this event, never bothered to check before. If it's a quest, with stages, what's the name so i can look up the stages before and after the haron message? Pap log of crashless run where I start the save at the autosave before the first sleep, sleep 24 hours, get the message, then sleep 24 hours. LL won't let me attach files for some reason Pap log 1 is from quick test, loading from autosave right before first sleep, 24 hour sleep, then second 24 hour sleep. Pap log 2 is from second attempt, waiting in game after the Herran is coming message, then sleeping until > 48 hours, no Herran on the horizon.

Everything works like a charm for me untill the Embassy quests where the Thalmor get either Bath Salt fever or all go psychotic. During the scenes where the AI controls my character the Thalmor Soldiers..all of them except for the female ones go into some sort of Testosterone Induced rage and start fighting each other. Funny to watch the first time because none of them actually die. Has to console "KillAll" and ressurect them all..but then the scripts for what they are suppose to do don't work anymore. I don't know if it is the Overhaul mod (Requiem) I am using or what. That is the only mod that would alter enemies/friendly AI's that I have installed. Going to try to do a vanilla run through since Requiem really doesn't do anything interesting that Deadly Dragons/Deadly Monsters can't do.

These are the values that go with what is in the ledger: relationship with Master - CDxRankMaster 1-4 Bad, 5-7 Poor, 8-12 Average, 13-16 Good, 17-20 Excellent Submissive/Dominant - CDxPlayerDisposition 1-4 Submissive, 5-7 mildly submissive, 8-12 average, 13-16 mildly dom, 17-20 dom The quests during the expansion do not start immediately, the first is about 5 days in and the second is several days after that. The first quest should be triggered the day before the mine shows up, you should receive a letter by courier. This script will correct a few issues with the trigger, there were some settings that should have released the player but didn't. FT Trigger.zip just extract it to the data folder. Them starting to fight is rather odd as they are all custom and are only in the Captured Dreams factions (if any). All the npc's used in the shop and inside the embassy are custom.

She was outside house at the back of it, to the left of the mines. One of the entries to the Manor was corrupted, specifically the stairs. The main arc of the Shop was in the air.

I went back to try escaping and got the nifty idea of trying to intentionally get caught with one of my followers so that I might see if they got suspended from the ceiling, but I ran into an issue. I just tried at least 7 delivery quests, all with 100% bandit chance, and only the last one had bandits. It was the same spot I got caught at last time: Morthal. I wasn't paying attention earlier when people were trying to figure out why they weren't getting bandits, but maybe only certain areas have issues? To be clear, since I was trying to get caught, but wanted to do so quickly, I would fast travel to a spot close to the delivery but not on top of it, 2-3 fast travels away and outside of a city for instance. None showed up the +3 times I was told to go deliver in Solitude, once in whiterun, twice in markarth.

justbob2 Posted October 20, 2014 Posted October 20, 2014 I have a question and a suggestion regarding the "Surprise" after the 4th Quest: SPOILER: First, the question: After being given the task as Erani's caretaker, I can't find her anywhere in the complex!? Is there a specific place she goes to wait for me?And for the suggestion: I have been playing as submissive as possible in an attempt to become an "official" slave of the Master. As such, being tasked to be a "master" to another slave does not seem to be in character. Conversely, if you are playing a more dominant path, this job is a perfect reward. Perhaps you could use the (Submissive/Dominant - CDxPlayerDisposition) trait you described above to determine whether or not you get this caretaker task. Or, you could give the submissive player the option to refuse this quest, prompting the Master to formally enslave the player as a result. (then make Erani HER caretaker!)

If the expansion is done (should be by that point, CDxExpMain at stage 475) you can set CDxExpMain to 980 and it will enable all the parts of the expansion. Also, if you wait she should move automatically. The effect on the collar happens if you do something that is considered an attack on the Master, either by spell, ranged weapon or melee. More than likely something from another mod is doing something to trigger it. It seems that on an existing game the bandit's AI is retaining some of the original AI package and does not want to release it. The only idea I have at this point is to make new bandits are replace the ones in the quest with them (also means I have to rebuild a number of parts as I will need new script properties and a few other things) but I have no idea if that will work either.

Move most of your other gear into a chest or something before starting this, save too. Two solutions: From console ( ~ ), click on your character and type "inv" or "showinventory" Use page up and page down to view the whole list You're looking for invalid items, items with bad references that say "worn" on the right of them. type "player.removeitem <id> <quantity>" where quantity can be 1 or any number if you think you have more than one. I often put in 10, since nothing bad happens if you try to remove too many. Taking off and moving the rest of your gear helps narrow the list, and helps keep you from deleting other items that you want that have bad refs normally. Second solution: After putting away EVERYTHING you can, add one chastity key and one restraints key to your character, you can use "help chastity" to find the reference to the key and use "player.additem <id> <quantity>" to get one if you don't have one already. Beware, in some DD complaint mods have added FAKE keys, if the key doesn't remove items, or it has a different load order, first two numbers on the left of the ID, than DD and DDexpansion items, it might be a fake, which won't work for this trick. Once you have put all of your gear away, and you have one of each key type: "player.unequipall" or "unequipall" followed by "player.removeallitems" or "removeallitems" This removes everything except quest items, the keys are necessary for unequipall, since it uses the same system that checks for keys as part of DD The keys are removed too. If these don't work, revert save :/

The 3rd quest seems to be giving me problems. I accepted the quest and all but I don't have a quest marker and such. I've tried going to her anyways but she just gives me her normal dialogue. v3.1 should have fixed that, make sure that CDxExpQuest03 is at stage 50 otherwise you may have dropped out of the dialogue with the Master early.
