having a strange issue and not sure if its related to this mod but, ,when I change weight om Racemenu, or if armor is removed from body part 32, I get the cooked skin overlay on my character.  I have to bring up racemenu for the overlay to disappear. Is it related to this mod?

Not directly, but it can be from the Deadly Furniture's Spitroast

If that the case, remove Skin Overlay with the option from Pama Deadly Furniture's MCM, then try save and reload the game.

Essential and Protected followers are killed by this mod if you set the "Kill Followers on Death" option.

Unless you have a follower mod that prevent that in the first place such as Nether Follower Framework's Protected Follower option.

I know it is fixed in v3.1.2, but the latest public version I know is v3.0.5 in Pama's Discord.

Perhaps you can join his server and download the latest version there.

 

In the mean time, also try new save if you haven't. Sometimes new/cleaned save can fix the crashes from updating versions

That was it,, thank you.  I've been doing a search for sometime and nothing worked.  I hit the purge button for the skin overlays but it screwed up my slavetats now.  Hope that Pama guy get that bug fixed.  You''ll fix the skin issue but trade it off by locking in on your tats

 

*Edit NM the tats were editable after reloadinig

I'm using Pama's Deadly Furniture version 3.1.9 and the BBQ scene still CTDs, I'm already using a new save from a newly opened game.

Is the spitroast in PamaTestZone fine, or does it crash as well?

i've said it before, but amidst all of these bug reports i'd just like to say THANK YOU! for this mod 😄

its so rare to find mods/games which scratch that curious itch of "but what happens after the player dies?"

every game always pops a game over screen, but i'm just thinking NAH,

if those bad guys took out Lara Croft they ain't just leaving her body there...😉

so thanks again for all of the time you have spent on this amazing mod! 😄

I've managed to do some tests and I've noticed that my followers still can't die even with the "Kill Followers on Death" option enabled. I'm not sure what could be preventing them from dying, and what I've noticed is that they do the bleedout animation that essential npcs do before standing back up immediately after, though their expressions did change to the death expression and stays like that. Then afterwards they just endlessly battle with the essential follower (usually, sometimes the follower wins).


Though I do have some ideas of what could be the culprits, this is pure speculation. My first suspect is Naked Defeat, though I know that this mod still works when I turn off the essential status that that mod adds to the player. My second is the closest I have to a mod that changes followers, Serana Dialogue Add-on, but even on a fresh save without this mod and testing it with a console summoned Lydia, she still doesn't die alongside me. That's all I could think of as of writing this, but I also included my modlist just in case there could be other suspects. modlist.txt

Other than that, I've also noticed something interesting. I found a skyrim.ini setting you can manually input which allows essential npcs to die despite their essential status.

After adding this line, the death properly happens to my followers, and even makes this mod and SLPGN work on them. But, it seems like the followers from the Serana Dialogue Add-on mod (which is basically Serana, but it also allows you to get Valerica too as a follower) aren't detected by either of the death mods with this line added, despite Lydia being detected as a follower and being affected by this mod. I'm not sure if this is a bug, something that requires a patch of sort, or just a weird interaction between the two, it was an interesting find nonetheless. Though it is also possible that this might be specific problem my save has, just like all weird bugs that comes from a game like this.

This mod has no creature animation/sex scene (yet). If you want creature necro, you will want SLPGN.

In which case there is only like 2-3 animation sets that has creature necro, FunnyBiz and Psyche animations, both in the recommended mods section.

So im trying to get the decap to work. I enable decapitation in the menu (says for debug purpose) and it deselects when I reopen my mcm. When I actually get decapitated, the neck sticks to the head turning me into a giraffe hybrid monster while an actual decapitated head model is spawned next to me. Im going to install Toasts display models and see if this does anything? (mostly just wanna see painting scene). I made sure I had everything installed other than bad endings and toasts DM.

Also I have tested it myself and yeah currently it crashes the game. Pama's mod seems fine, but it just crashes in this mod. I will check things out

i was like why is this mod not working and why dont i see an mcm menu for the mod turns out when i installed it with vortex it just straight up skipped allmost all the scripts and source files

when I download this mod there is absolutely no indication anything is working I have no mcm menu nothing works automatically or anything I have all the requirements not sure what to do

Suggestion: Make use of the several creature animations that exist even if they are not necro. For example we could have a scenario that is similar to the Thalmor torture scenario where if defeated by a creature the player is only knocked unconscious, dragged to the creatures den, wakes up naked and is raped by the creature and only after that the player is killed and mutilated. Same for the giants, dragged to the giants den unconscious, raped and only then killed and cooked.

Interesting idea, will consider it for later.

I do feel like the current creature scene is lacking as well

Ran into a new problem: Marrying a follower seems to somehow break the mod as far as the follower is concerned. Before marriage the follower died as the PC died and everything worked perfectly, however now after the wedding the follower does not die anymore, they just go into the vanilla downed animation and don't participate in any of the mods events anymore. Any idea what might cause this and how to fix it?

I have never married... both in game and irl, so I do not test that far. You can try removing the essential flag from the wife using setessential <base_id> 1 and then set it back to 0. This usually removes the protected and essential flag from an npc

No effect, I've tried the setessential command, I've allowed her to permanently die in AFT, I've made sure the box to kill followers is checked on PDA. She will not die and partake in PDA events, instead is stuck vanilla downed. I have tested it with different followers on multiple saves and marriage does this to every follower I've tried.

I use TesEdit for my followers and change them all to non-essential prior to starting new games

I'm encountering a very strange issue. After dying and initiating actions using PDA v2.4.3, my character teleports to random locations—usually mid-air. However, I don't have this problem when using PDA v2.4.2-hotfix. Also, I tried using a new mod called Death Idle Fix, but it didn't help.

When my player died it show the prompt: "Scene cannot be play normally, using fallback method" and then nothing happen. I just delete the old 1.0 version which work perfectly and update to the latest. Here are my mods version: Toast pose 1.6, SLGPN your version, pama furniture 2.4.0, Toast outfit 2.1.
