Oh... I have all those. Is my sexlab bugged somehow? Some creatures work, but some other ones give me a message saying "the aroused (whatever) doesn't know what to do with you." So I thought I was missing animations or something.

Think possibly you may have some SexLab McM settings turned off on the Animation Settings tab? Make sure allow creature is on, I forget what setting I have for aggressive filters but I think some creature animations are marked aggressive, Oh and double-check SL Loader to make sure all your animations were loaded.

 

 

I use the same set as @killer905 plus maybe one or two others.

Is "Match Creature Genders" turned off in Sexlab? If not, it should be. 

 

If that doesn't work, you can try the following in the SLAL MCM:  Disable All -> Rebuild Registry -> Enable All -> Register

 

Also, that sounds like an Aroused Creatures message.

I'm currently on the Troll quest. After speaking to Tirwin inside the cave and then following her, I get the message about the Trolls appearing, but then nothing happens. The trolls don't appear.

 

Don't know if it's important, but I upgraded from v0.22 -> v0.36 yesterday.

Before that on v0.22 I already completed the Bear quest.

 

Is there something I can do to resolve this?

 

Any advice would be appreciated!

There is a campfire at the end of the cave. A lit bonfire means you are in the wrong version, and extinguished means you are in the correct version.

Generally let Ria finish her dialogue, as for all I know she can cause the script to not activate correctly as a result of e.g. trolls not being enabled.

 

If you still have a problem, once you enter the cave (make sure the fire is out) and type in these commands:

prid xxC3AE43
enable

 

and

 

prid xxC3AE44
enable

 

xx is your modorder

 

Use this command if you are in wrong version of the cave:

coc VARBearCave

I confirmed that I was in the correct cave (campfire was out). Using prid to select and enable the trolls worked, but it's still very buggy after that.

 

When I followed Tirwin and triggered the first scene with the trolls, she immediately got re-dressed, and only my character ended up doing it with one of the trolls. Second troll was just standing there. Him and Tirwin were not doing anything together.

 

So even after my character and the troll were finished with their scene, the quest did not advance anymore after that.

But you enable trolls after entering the cave but before talking to Tirwin? Alternatively enable Trolls before you enter the cave.

 

Otherwise you need a setstage, which you can find here:

So I loaded up an earlier save from before entering the cave at all, and used the console commands to enable the trolls.

Did everything else the same as before.

This time Tirwin didn't immediately re-dress when the scene started, she stayed nude as intended. But the rest of it was still broken. Only one troll had sex with my character, the other one didn't do anything with Tirwin and the quest wouldn't progress.

 

So her staying naked is some progress, I guess... 😅

I ended up progressing through the quest stages via the setstage console command, until completion.

 

It's too bad though because the whole "fun part" of the quest was basically skipped

 

Unless you have any more ideas on something I could try...? 🙏 otherwise I guess I'll just move on..

Yep, if you don't turn off automatic in Aroused Creatures in it's McM that can interfere with this and other mods. I turn that off to play through these quests and back on "Only When" wanting to gain some SLSF Fame for Comments. Otherwise I keep it off 99.9% of the time because most domesticated creatures seem exceptionally frisky, Max in the Bannered Mare, Magnus will chase you down if you go near the stables, even Ragnar will pounce on the player or other npcs when that's on and quite often.

 

Still, to me it sounds like some of their animations are either not registered or filtered out.

Ragnar jumping on others? That's unforgivable! Clearly Tirwin is keeping him on too long a leash if this is happening.

Main quest never initialized for me lol. Walked into the inn and the two NPCs simply didnt speak.

Is there a command to force the interaction to start/think it already happened?

I've been meaning to ask this but never got around to it - so the issue I've got is that any sex scene involving Tirwin as part of the quests doesn't advance the quest forward when the sex scene concludes. I've always just been using console commands to manually advance the quest every time after a sex scene, assuming it was an issue with the mod itself.

 

But thinking about it now, and especially after updating to the latest version and having this issue persist, that it's not an issue with the mod per se, but an incompatibility with one of my other mods. Namely I'm using SexLab Separate Orgasms. Is it possible that's what's causing the issue?

Exit and re-enter or poke them both.

Alternatively setstage var_manquest 20 or 30

The quest doesn't progress after every sex? Sounds like Sexlab P+... do you have this mod?

Hey, no I'm actually using SexLab Utility Plus (v20240407), not P+. Unless SLUP is also incompatible?

Oh? I use this on my setup and i know have problems.

 

The best idea would be to disable any mod that requires SexLab (Apart from sexlab and SLUP itself) and then check. It's also quite possible that some setting in another mod could be causing some strange behaviour.

 

One of the closest examples is ‘Fill her up’ this mod causes Tirwin's outfit to break down or copy the PC's worn EQ on itself. <shrugs arms>.
