Should be setstage var_mainquest 20 or 30. When you walk in, a trigger box should set the stage to 10, which starts the conversation. But stage 30 is what kicks off the first animal quest. Also, after conversation between the two elves, one should force greet you. If that happened and you missed it (e.g., left the tavern), then you can still pick up the quest by speaking with the high elf. 1
killer905 Posted May 12, 2025 Posted May 12, 2025 Note: The production time for the next update was prolonged by the need to create a couple of interior rooms also the progression of the new tasks unfortunately did not advance too much. Not to mention the problems found to be fixed here and now. An informative post for the next Animal Research update. - 2 quets out of 6 (May change during development) have been completed. - Redid the riekling/boar cave and quest and wiped out all mods to the vanilla cave - Added repeatable quests for bear and elk. (Talk to Ria for bear, elk is just there) - Fixed bug which caused Tirwin to have transparent hair if the user uses EMB - Removed objective from innkeeper and placed objective on Naryu immediately after Naryu force greet during Netch quest - Added additional stages to force greets to prevent double force greets - Added backup dialogue if force greet dialogue is interrupted or times out - WORK IN PROGRESS: All non-post-sex force greets are done. About the first 1/3 of post-sex force greets are. - Removed bug blocking Ragnar sex requests after arrival in Dragon Bridge - Moved Northern Maiden Raven Rock crew back to Raven Rock after Northwind departs - Moved Northwind crew back to Windhelm after voyage to Solitude is complete 3

LizDragon Posted May 12, 2025 Posted May 12, 2025 Issue with the wolf quest. I can progress to the objective: "keep an eye on Tirwin", but she won't start the animation with the wolf, she just stands there .

I'd say that's been my favorite since I first tried this mod last year. The rest can easily wait. 1

I will add that the revisit of Angi and Snowflake will be more difficult because PC can kill Angi. Also some way to summon Snowflake if Angi is dead would be useful. 1
asianboy345 Posted May 14, 2025 Posted May 14, 2025 For some reasons, the Highpoly patch works with all the female characters in the mod except for Tirwin, but only her "hair up" variant. Looking into the facegen folder, it seems her hairup facegen didn't export properly and it still uses the vanilla mesh?

Hmm... 🤔 Maybe you could add a repeatable dialogue line to Tirwin with conditions that the sabrecat quest is complete and the player/Tirwin are in the AngiCampExterior cell. Ask Tirwin if she can be the one to call Snowflake this time since they got so well acquainted before. This will summon Snowflake and make both of them take their XMarker positions. Talk to Tirwin again to see the options for you and her to get with Snowflake. If Angi is still alive, she can move to her XMarker as well and have dialogue lines for activities with Snowflake/player/Tirwin/Ragnar/threesomes. Once again, talk to Tirwin to end the party and Snowflake can disappear again and Angi can go back to her usual routines (if still alive). This way you're not relying on Angi to start the activities, but she is still there to partake if she isn't dead. Edited May 14, 2025 by Donuts4me
Serenity_XXI Posted May 14, 2025 Posted May 14, 2025 I noticed that Tirwin doesn't scale adjust during sex scenes, which results in a lot of them being misaligned. It's just her though, even in group sex all other actors scale adjust fine except her, she's always smaller and her alignments are broken as a result. Or if I adjust the alignment for her, it's later going to be broken if using that animation again on another NPC or the player. Any reason for that? Is there something I can do to "unlock" her scale adjustments?

The Tirwin with long hair (only this version is currently used and the short hair, is a wig) and the one with short hair not used since some update. That is, you are probably using an old version of the mod. You can also delete the file 0000FB09.nif and then copy the file 00056970.nif and rename it from the deleted file, i.e. 0000FB09.nif.

I forgot about Tirwin she could call out Snowflake, but as ANgi is alive, however, she should call out and not Tirwin, because no matter how you look at it, it's her pet ;3

In SexLab -> Animations Settings try uncheck "Disable Scaling / CTD Fix" and select "Even Actors Height" In addition, it would be a good idea to check on another NPC High Elf to be sure that this only ditches Tirwin.... AND a screenshot would help illustrate the problem.

How about give Angi the lines to summon Snowflake, but also give Tirwin backup lines with a GetDead function on Angi. This way Tirwin can only do it if Angi is dead. As long as Angi is alive, she can do it. Like how Camilla takes over the Riverwood store and the golden claw quest if her brother Lucan is dead. Or Lucan mourns his sister if she is dead. Spoiler

When Tirwin and our PC first meet her, she does threaten them and she could be killed at that point, but if that happened, there would be no Snowflake sex since, at that point, only Angi can summon him. Does she threaten them if they return to her camp afterwards?

Well unless she really ticked me off. 😛 filterByNpcs=dunAngiREF:setProtected=true btw: she's one of the few unique npc's who's Editor ID does match her name verbatim. The thing is you could also set her protected flag in your mod if you wanted to, of course some people may see a conflict with some other mod and wonder what the heck you're doing to poor Angi. Exactly as you write, but we didn't take into account how the PC would kill Angi on the first encounter, because the effect would be that the task would get blocked. He also indicated here that Snowflake does not come to help which would be interesting.

I think the player would not want to kill her because she comes for a purpose also we are considering 2 scenarios. Angi is alive and Angi is dead. The third version does not exist.

Let's see about that. Time to die! "You chose the wrong girl to mess with." (Turns hostile) Angi RIP ;/ Calm down. I'm not going to hurt you. "Sorry, a girl can't be too careful out here. Like I said, name's Angi and I've been living out here for a couple of years now." 1

Like I said she's like one of the first npcs I hit up in a game, so does escape me what dialog happened like a year ago in my current game save. Personally I never had killed her because I enjoy her little quest to gain the skill and win her bow. Beside I like her character, that's why I mark her protected... sometimes if you're near her area she can have an encounter with a dragon, and my game's dragons are not pushovers.
