Lazy Palm Posted September 18, 2024 Author Posted September 18, 2024 0.1.09 preview 4 Added MCM option to hide the Release Me dialog options (preferences, game play section in the MCM) Fixed merchants, blacksmiths, apothecary, inn keepers to give normal follower triggered dialog on the 2nd visit (vs. long scene). This will reset with location changes. Added Prayer rules Mod will detect shrine when you see the E to activate show up on screen (you should see a "Found Shrine of Mara" type message) Praying pose added the pose menu under the long press action key menu (still need to add the MCM option to select pose) Rule drop down added for None, Pose, Ask, Pose and Ask Added 4 prayer rituals (nudity, no shoes, clean, whipped) these can operate with or without the rule drop down being set. Let me know what explodes into runtime fireball! On another note, how does everybody that is watching this thread feel about these smaller drip drip preview releases? It is helpful to me, but is it spoiling the fun of a larger release? (I have seen all of this stuff before ** yawn **) Binding 0.1.09 preview 4.7z 1

Raine_Hyd Posted September 18, 2024 Posted September 18, 2024 To respond to when you asked what the furniture slider was on since it wouldn't use furniture for sleep, apparently it was set to 0. Put it to 100 and they use it now. 1
Anunya Posted September 18, 2024 Posted September 18, 2024 Question: have people tested this mod with a controller based setup, and how well does it work?

Cool idea. I would add also un-gag the player to. Then re-tie or re-gag the player if they enter a town or a player home. Edited September 19, 2024 by YellowBeard007 added idea. 1

And then tell you if something is not working. Plus, you can add small changes add ideas to the mod and the MCM. I am of the opinion that it may be a great way to make a mod, as it is being made. Thanks again. 1
HiddenHari Posted September 19, 2024 Posted September 19, 2024 (edited) The development cycle for this mod is amazing! Personally I am really enjoying the drip-feed releases! And I cannot praise enough about how stable it is updating the mod mid-game. Never really have anything game-breaking, and at the worst I could easily safeword, release from the follower, and re-submit again! Here are some feedback from 0.1.09 preview 3: - Cleaniness working with Dirt and Blood, and harsh bondage is fixed. Yay!! - The pose for dialogue is working surprisingly well in most cases. The longer dialogue variant with traders can get a bit old after a while, but I see you are already amending that in preview 4! - I feel that some longer dialogues can use some change. For example, the follower start with "Hello kinsman", but they could be of different races. I also feel that the tone of the follower could be more neutral and less amicable. For example, the "Hello friend, may I have a word with you" can be just "I need a word with you". It's more of a personal taste and depends on the follower's character, but I feel like the mistress/master could sound more serious and terse😝 (my mistress is Jenassa for this save btw). Glad everything is working so well! That "Hello kinsman" should only show up when the dialogue passes a same race check between the target and the NPC, clearly I did something wrong 😀 I will see if I can get some more neutral tone into the dialogue. Good suggestion. 1
HiddenHari Posted September 19, 2024 Posted September 19, 2024 I have really been enjoying posing for dialogue! Is it possible or practical to detect when the crosshair is on an NPC (maybe also on bondage furniture, beds, etc.), so that the activation key can function dynamically? Since mods like Contextual Crosshair and Dynamic Activation Key are working fairly well, I imagine this might be possible but don't know how much of work it takes. I think it will really be a even better experience if your mod's most frequentlly used content can be accessed by just clicking your activation key, instead of long pressing and selecting from menu. Please let me know your thoughts on this🙂. In the long run, I imagine a voicepack for this mod will be the cherry on top, once you decide the mod's core functions solid and dialogues polished! This is really a well-crafted mod and I'm so happy to play it! Divines blessings on you! 1

For example, the follower will greet mages in the College of Winterhold as merchants. At the time, I thought this wouldn't be a problem before you added dialogues for traders. But since you are already developing more on this, I'm hoping to see if you can tackle this moonlighting as merchant problem as well😂. 1

I believe there is a pose kneeling with head down in Zaz (used in Submissive Lola's kiss feet event). Combining that pose with the doggy bowl from display model can be fun~ Still, any bowl or plate on the ground will make it looks like the character is eating on the ground. As always, more options and variation is good (as long as it makes sense, obviously). The most obvious one to me is to eat from the floor (or from a bowl on the floor) like a dog (or other animal), either without using hands or with hands tied behind the back. Don't know if there are animations for this. Sitting on the floor is also appropriate IMO. If there is an animation and it's not hard to implement, having the dom feed the PC rather than her eating by herself could also work. Other than that I don't have a whole lot of ideas - other than actions the dom could do before eating (mess with the food, have the PC strike a begging pose, "you hungry? eat this?" (perform oral sex), force the PC to drink a bunch of alcohol (and get drunk). 1

Yeah, funny you should mention that 😀 When you look at preview 4, I just started using crosshairs for shrine detection (before user activation) with OnCrosshairRefChange . I was thinking it work well for dialog targeting also. My notes in code: ;kCharacter = 62 ;TODO - replace cell scan in conversation manager with an NPC set here, should not have the outdoor cell change issues That said, I am not entirely sure about script load using that function. I have a pretty fast computer, so I didn't see much, but I am interested to know if others do. I will definitely take a peek at the two mods you mentioned! I would like to see that in action. Just out of curiosity, (shorter term) would it be useful to have an MCM option to have a tap on the action key pull up the menu (where you can still pick kneel) and a long press to force the kneel? Turn them around. I didn't realize how much the menu would be used until dialog was added. Edited September 19, 2024 by Lazy Palm 1

I think kneeling and menu are almost equally often used now (or depends on which rules are active). If it is easy to implement the MCM option, maybe we can try it out and see. I think ultimately, fully utilizing OnCrosshairRefChange will be the solution. 3 minutes ago, Lazy Palm said: Thanks for catching this!! He technically is in the merchant job faction. I bet I could make any of this work. Requesting eating would shift the player into an eating on the floor animation, so the player would be disabled, but the menus would still be functional. Eat what you need. Enjoy the scene. Press the action key to resume and lose permission to eat more. I like the feeding idea also. Kneel, dom stands close (can't do crap from chairs without other animations), play the classic lockpick idle whenever you eat something from your menu. I will peek at zap again. I built a list of the idles/animations at one point, but I have no idea where I saved it. They are not very descriptively named. ZazAPC051... I like it! Edited September 19, 2024 by Lazy Palm 2

I guess so 😀 It looks like checking for JobMiscFaction also will reduce it to just goods vendors. In fairness, the court wizards use magic so little they are mostly soul gem / scroll vendors anyway.
Hanshurtig11 Posted September 19, 2024 Posted September 19, 2024 (edited) Trying 0.1.09 preview, i noticed that the dom keeps wandering around after releasing me from furniture in town. Not following me any longer. The text note says the event was finished. .. well, after talking to her again, she continued following. Edited September 19, 2024 by Hanshurtig11
