This is still Skyrim, and there are still limits the game engine imposes (but then having someone on a leash in a fight or while moving over difficult terrain or in cramped spaces isn't very practical in real life either).

With sufficiently length this would work, follower follows you, and have you on leash. In theory. Works well for walking dog. ;)

Sadly in practice, I never managed follower to follow me in any sane distance for longer time, without unexplained stops and small walks, even sometime runs somewhere. (maybe navmesh from some mod(s), maybe AI limits, idk and i not investigate it further). Not even in Oldrim :)

You obviously never tried to walk a dog on a (longish) leash while walking through a wood (through being the keyword here, as opposed to sticking to a nice clear path) ... "works well" isn't the term I would use to describe that experience. :P

You are right on the other points though.

Does this mod have outcomes for defeat or Simple slavery? Preferably to be sent to a bandit camp?

Binding has it's own defeat scenario as well as a SimpleSlavery outcome. That is targeted at friendly NPC's though. So it would be up to you to ensure the bandits well be friendly to you. Couple of options on the Nexus for that, problem is, most fail with some mod added bandits. The simple (and relatively safe, still might fail with some mods) solution would be to add the PC to the Bandit faction, that has of course the disadvantage to make guards (and most other NPC's) aggressive to you, so might not be what you are after.
So yes to your first question, no to the second, at least not out of the box and given the problems, not likely to come.
