used AAF and once had that erection problem. But, it was fixed after installing Ultimate AAF Patch. Now, I'm switching to NAF and every sex scene works but without erection for both human and creature. I think the penis meshes are there. How do I make them compatible with NAF? Any suggestions?

By switching, I mean I just uninstalled AAF and Ultimate AAF patch and followed NAF installation guide. Are there other AAF mods I need to reinstall after NAF installation for them to recgonize NAF?

Yeah. My LooksMenu is 1.6.20 and every mod I have is for game version 1.10.163.

I have no idea what's wrong on your end. Everything should work out of the box.

1. Uninstall AAF Framework.

2. Install NAF.

3. Install NAF Bridge.

4. Install Naficator.
5. Adjust the Naficator INI file (paths for the AAF and NAF directories, and set bNaficatorEnable to 1).

6. Then start Fallout 4 and wait until Naficator reports that the XML files have been processed. Then exit Fallout 4 with Alt+F4 and set bNaficatorEnable back to 0.

   Don't start Fallout 4 yet.
7. Instead, save (or rename) the Naficator.log file in the Data\NAFicator directory. There you'll see which XML files were processed correctly and where there are problems.

Could you give me an example directory for AAF and NAF in step 5? Where might my AAF xmls be located? I use MO2 and I have no AAF folder in my fallout 4 Data folder.

@Evi1Pandadoes the idle animation for the frogtie equipment from the fetish toolset mod work with naf bridge because when equipped, the player is stuck in the frogtie idle animation when any animation is called by a mod. It works fine for the bounded hand or legs equipment and for npcs. Playing animation directly from naf is also fine.

I pretty sure that this archive does not contain all set of files located in your folder.

Hey @Evi1Panda

Well, have spent a couple of weeks with a new game testing most versions of NAFbridge from 1.11 to 2.09 (except versions requiring AutonomySex as a master}, using Autonomy 2.8 to generate scenes. As you suggested, 1P animations are caused by a fallback situation. Autonomy2.8 always requests scenes with 2 actors, and if one of those actors is not available for any reason, AAF or NAFbridge (from v1.11 to v1.30) assigned a 1P animation to the remaining actor. From NAFbridge v1.35+,  if one actor is unavailable NAFbridge just cancelled the entire scene. Thanks to your new MCM setting in v2.09 "Run scene even if not all actors ready" that situation is now fixed. ☺️  It would have been nice if the addition of that new control, and what it did, was mentioned in the Nexus changelog.

  • Please can you explain what is the function of the morph update queue? At present the queue is more than 60 actors. Also, very few Autonomy2.8 scene calls are occurring. It seems that if actors are in that queue they are excluded from being called by Autonomy2.8 ? Here is a SUP log showing the situation. This log is for a 80 minute session. There were only 18 successful scenes from 33 scene calls (very slow compared to earlier versions). The site was Starlight - about 33 settler NPCs plus Settlement Visitors and a bunch of Minutemen, plenty of valid furniture.

Bridge2.09_aaSUPF4SEDebugPrint.txt

  • Is there still a possibility of a "Interrupt all active scenes" console command?

Also posted this in bugs on discord. I had problems with other mods in load order- decided to start a fresh save. NAF, NAF bridge, and naficator with aaf mods were working as intended and working very well. Going through and vetting my load order a handful of mods at a time, I get to NAF with all of its requirements, and with NAF checked in my load order (using MO2) and starting with F4se, the game ctds. I didn't have this problem before. Anybody know why? I had some issues prior to my last save, but I got through it somehow and I can't remember what I did or what the issues were.

Yes, man, sorry, I didn’t read everything completely. Think what you want, let’s stop communicating with you at this point. You just want me to waste some of my time on you, but I don't want to. This is all. We finished the conversation.

We just don’t understand each other, communication doesn’t work, so there’s no need to torture each other.

Regarding the fact that our dialogue did not work out - well, I’m sorry if there is any resentment left, I didn’t want to offend anyone, but I would like to answer as directly as possible: right now I don’t have time to deal with personal user care. And it's unlikely to appear soon. Moreover, there is no such desire. This is why I wrote all these rules and documentation - so that people would resolve their issues on their own as much as possible, bringing only real, repeatable and log-confirmed problems/errors that can be solved. I want to minimize communication, not expand it. To focus exclusively on modder's work, and not on users stories.

I apologize. I shouldn't have lashed out. No resentment. One of the problems I had from the previous issues I posted in this thread was using Boston Device Helper. I got rid of that and everything concerning naf and loverslab worked great.

I think I figured it out. For some reason, I have to put it at the bottom when I first reincorporate it back into my load order. I guess then I can change it's load order position after that.

Uninstall AAF Framework?... What about mods that rely on the master file for AAF being present? Wouldn't that throw error messages, or crash the game, or lead to other problems?

I'm having the same issue. For a while, the mod Universal Stiffener was working fine, when I was using AAF, but now even that doesn't work.

In theory, NAF replaces AAF seamlessly. However, in practice, I found that—for me, at least—it doesn't convert SC animations, and a couple of the "Provocative Perks" don't work either. Actually, the SC animations were the reason I abandoned NAF in favor of AAF.

SC animations?

So far I haven't had any issues with animations firing with NAF, however penises do not get hard during animations anymore.

I wish this could be as easy as installing SexLab for Skyrim, and using SoS for the erection part, but for some reason, for Fallout 4, it has to be the convoluted mess that it is...

When I went to the nexus page, that was the last version I had downloaded. I have reinstalled it again anyway on the outside chance it got overwitten, but I'm not sure that's what the issue is.

The male body I chose is Body Talk, if I remmeber correctly. I'm not sure if that information is going to matter though.

You might need to rebuild it in BodySlide with morphs.

That wasn't it either.

I even tried this "A user suggests to try putting a morphSetData XML file in NAF folder" and that didn't do anything either. Though I may have done this incorrectly.

I think I'm with you on that part about uninstalling NAF and going back to AAF. I mean the penetration part fires correctly and consistently, every time with NAF, and the animations and transitions are buttery smooth, which was not the case with AAF in every case, but at least with AAF I was getting SOME erections during animations, and some penetration animations, while with NAF I am getting NO erections, and the process to try and sort out the erection issue seems WAY too complicated/tedious to bother with. At least with AAF, I had mods like Universal Stiffener, which did work, at least half of the time, while for NAF there is nothing like that, apparently.

Yes, THEORETICALLY, it is plug and play, but it's not all there yet apparently, on the "plug and play" side of things. Which is unfortunate.

I'm looking at this from the perspective of: I have a problem (no erections, in this case), can I solve this problem easily? The answer is apparently "no", therefore that part of the mod is complicated/not functional.

I tried uninstalling this mod but now I keep getting an AAF error message saying "main aaf quest failed" and it "can't update bridge api" or something like that.

The NAF folder remains in the override folder. You need to delete it. If the error persists, check the game folder.

NAF Bridge has its own AAF.esm as a shim for mods that rely on existence of some records in AAF.esm

Looks like you did not remove AAF.esm shipped with NAF Bridge. Or it remain somehow aftrer deinstallation.
