Especially if you made 4 different routes like it was before - aware or not of being the dragonborn, rich or poor.
CGi Posted April 13, 2014 Posted April 13, 2014 it's definitly easier when you look at the dialogue tree in the CK, as this way you can see every available dialogue option and how they are linked. And yes, we have different routes ... again. But as this is a test mod, they are not used to differentiate this much but to reflect ones style of gaming and the decissions made.

Would be nice, as then the test plugin would be available in 4 languages right from the start which then again would lead to more testers and this way to more feedback.

If I talk to them, there is no response. If I talk to the innkeeper, she doesn't give any mod-related dialouge options.

The test mod will then be send via PM as well. if we're lucky, a translator for french will join in as well because we got french translators on LL.

Azn Posted April 14, 2014 Posted April 14, 2014 Saw this mod and decided to give it a shot. Not very far in so far, but even just the tavern job is surprisingly immersive. I actually think it might be the first time I've seen a mod that includes an actual job! And the tavern job at least is working BEAUTIFULLY with Populated Cities Towns Villages. It actually feels like a busy tavern and I can actually earn a rather impressive wage!

But i'll not ask him as i'm sure if he thinks this mod is worth the effort he'll just do it, as he always did. ^^ @Aeratoth: if i would leave the french translation to you too, you would hate me. Believe me. This little test mod has so many dialogue and other text that needs translating that it even amazes me and Hero. I'm alive! And potentially available for proof-reading, though I've been away for RL for a while and I'm terribly out of date. Atm we need only translators. Polish english and russian are covered, with the base mod developed in german. Test reading will then be done by the users, when they finally can play the test mod. Why the effort with the translation? Due to the content of the mod, the dialogue might go into the framework so we got a default for people that want to add content the easy way, which (atm) will be done by simply adding an NPC to 2 factions to give him all the functionality the test mod will cover and some more that'll only be available in the framework. Why am i never writing out the facts and write this (kinda) cryptic bullshit? Because this is Heros mod, so giving away details is solely up to him. i'm only "his sidekick", doing small parts of work, so he can focus on the difficult stuff like scripting the framework.

When you have her on your side, she will make attempts to roughshod over you. As always you will have choices and those progressing the follower. Because this will be a test and preview we don't make it too hard for you to reach the final stage of her relationship. Means, that you can advance the relationship to a point where you are the follower. After the test release we are eager to hear your opinions about it. Positives as well as negatives. If the majority of you think that it is a good concept then we are going to flesh out the details, giving her a real background story and she will be more versatile. Plus you can take this literally. (Well, hopefully we can transport those feelings and you care for her like in this song and replace poor Lydia as the from-the-start-to-the-end follower)
sainare Posted April 14, 2014 Posted April 14, 2014 So I'm having this issue where I can't install this through NMM - it keeps saying Devious Devices - Assets.esm is inactive. Yet the Devious Devices assets are installed on the data folders. The only reason I can think of is because the devious devices i'm using is v2.7.0 and NMM won't recognise it as v2.5.0. To confirm this I will need to download the v2.5.0 but I can't find it anywhere :/ Can anyone upload v2.5.0 or have another solution?
