I always use Populated Cities to get over the fact there are way too few NPCs in the tavern. The other thing I found is that this mod doesn't aware if my char. did the Saadia's quest or not. I just made a new char & she didn't do the quest yet, but talked as if she's not there. Also, why does it mod forced Saadia to greet my char? EDIT It's Lively Inns & Taverns, I forgot to delete it. While testing, I also find that my char. can't stop working on the 2nd night because there's no "I'm done for the day" dialogue, only "I'm ready for work", but that might be because of Lively Inns & Taverns. Also, for a mod in development for too long, I expect it to be more refined, dialogues are weird as usual.
Reigor Posted April 6, 2014 Posted April 6, 2014 I don't use sneak tools currently, cuz I have a stripped down just testing setup, but I plan on to. What appealed to me was being able to use a mask to disguise one's identity when committing a crime, so that the bounty is on the "masked thief" but not you unless captured. Also, the sneak behind throat slitting maneuver sounds useful as well. I plan on eventually playing with Hardcore needs world Requiem with an arcane thief/assassin build. What I would like to do is pick pockets during sex or do a surprise attack during the deed. Murder, Theft, and Seduction sort of covers this, but only with quest specific targets. I've been looking for something more general.

You already have to pay if you messed up the orders and to compensate loss. She will put a bounty on you if you try to steal (Currently, probably subject to change). This kind of slavery is currently not a development goal. Do you mean hulda exactly or just whoever is bannered mare innkeeper? ^^ What if Hulda dies and is replaced by Ysolda because a brawl went wrong and your follower decided it's perfect excuse to murder everybody?

Is there anything else? This talks about "slavery". How this works in the mod? Is this already working or in development yet?

No, it is just a bug fix where you couldn't end the shift if you had sex with more than one customer. APPS does not force Saadia to greet you. It is a vanilla scene which will be played whenever you enter the Bannered Mare the first time and take a seat. What do you mean by 'dialogues are weird as usual'? No, just no. I mean Hulda. If Hulda died before APPS is started, there will no story to be told. APPS takes care of her and changes her status so she can not be killed by accident.

Regallag the Perv Posted April 6, 2014 Posted April 6, 2014 i think i'll not spoil something if i say that Hulda will play a major role in this mod, hence why it starts in and surrounds the bannered mare. ^^ A little question to our players that's kinda important for the part of the story that i'll work on next: is anyone of you using sneak tools or a similar mod? if yes: Why excatly and what of it's extended funtionality comes in handy most of the time for you? if not: Why? I do not use sneak tools. I wasn't even aware of it's existence until you mentioned it.

And due to the fact that for the next release of APPS you need a save game w/o APPS, you're better of not installing it unless you would like to see what it got to offer, like experimenting and maybe contributing ideas for the next version.

Oh and whatever character i play i usually rely on sneak quite a lot. Sneak tools adds some very interesting features for sneak gameplay. Its cool to play with but i can live without that aswell. Its just a way to improve things that bethesda messed up - for example there was a quest in dawnguard DLC that Vampires are sending you to kill someone disguised as a dawnguard. You do so but still you get a bounty for your personal account, and you need to get yourself cought to clear it - this is just plain ridiculous.

You could also put the Active and Desactive options on the Menu, and put some slider for us to chose the frequency that the NPCs will come asking for sex.

Weird, as in how unnatural it is. Too much pauses, as if all the NPCs pause every 5 word or something.

They said nothing after the fact, nor does Hulga have anything to say to me when I check up on her. But, anyways, this mod, in my opinion is going to be a really great mod. It really made me feel like I was a waitress, it felt like it took forevvveeeerrrrr to finish my first day of work, just like it should. Than the second day rolled around, and sheesh it felt just as long. And than finally my reward to become a whore, actually felt like a reward! One tip: Get someone that can translate to English or fix the grammar and spelling mistakes. I cannot wait, for more quests to be released *.*

There should be a last dialogue, though. But it seems alot of people had problems triggering it so it may be a bug. Yep, this is the plan for APPS. You should earn your rewards, nothing will be gifted out of nowhere We have some willing people who want to proof-read and polish the English dialogues. We will get in contact with them as soon as we are ready to release the next part.

Well, some of them can be refined to use lesser commas, that's a start. Maybe change it to something like, for the whoring "Find a place to have sex with (name of NPC) " order food "Bring the food order from (name of NPC) to Hulda" Hmm... I kinda forgot what are the lines in your mod. But yeah, they ould use some refinement.

Dead ends are ok as long as they aren't surprise dead ends. That is the player should be able to guess they are heading down a dead end patch before it is too late to turn around. For example, say character A is integral in the decision to enslave the PC. But there is also an option to seduce A, in which case A falls in love and prevents the slavery from happening. Now unless there is enough background information imparted to inform the player that A is important to the slavery portion, and that A would not enslave a lover, the player would not expect that seduction option would lock them out of the slave quest. If they figured out that A was important, they could easily guess that seducing A would accelerate the enslavement, by making themselves more desirable.

So basicly all you would have to do is to force the game to do an autosave just before the final choice would be made - easiest way to do that would be to force a player to change location/enter somewhere through load doors. People would check out the dead end option and then load that autosave and progress further with non dead end option. Relatively easy and everyone should be happy.

They can make sure to save before entering into the dead end, which also allows for a longer dead end. Also I think there are two types of dead end: one a dead end for this mod, which closes out the possibility of reaching the "end" of the quest, and a game dead end which actually does end the game. The former would be much less impactful on the dragonborn adventures than the latter of course.

Yup, not much to do apart from brainstorming here, although it seems that most of us are more interested in the slavery stuff than another prostitution mod
