I was hopeful you were right, but that would be a negative. After testing for myself, and reaffirming information online - The redguard quest "In my time of need" is *NOT* available until the player character has at least initiated "Dragon Rising." The Al'Akir random encounter is not determined by level.

 

So for other players who don't like Saadia hanging around. You need to at least do something with the quest Dragon Rising. Though it is completely possible to avoid being known as the dragonborn if you don't complete the quest. I'm not sure at what point you receive the Dragonborn designation, though it is suggested that dragons will begin randomly appearing with the death of Mirmulnir so it could be there, though like I said I don't know for sure.

 

Another solution to this could be using console commands to remove her from the game... but haven't tested that myself and I'm generally against CC. Like to handle things in game if I can.

 

Or could always try the stabby stabby cut cut game. Though, she might be essential until her quest is complete. As I said, further testing ahead!

Did the same for those irritating kids, and the crazy old woman, and anyone else who pissed me off.

Or if you don't want to go to extremes just tai her.  You can always toggle her back on later.

Any ETA when this console-command is available in real life? Currently I still have to use the old-fashioned method, which consists of a rocket-launcher, quite a bloody mess and generally lots of screaming and other annoying things...

Just a quick question, is there more to this mod after the "endurance" quest, where the two prostitutes take you upstairs? I got to the part where you have a choice of oral or anal, though I could only choose oral (I'm assuming because I have no anal experience, playing on a new save to avoid conflicts), after the scene plays out I get quest complete, but then I'm just standing in the room with the two women, neither of whom move, and there's no new conversation choices with Hulda or the two women.

This is a Mod in Progress... you can use the first Stage of this Mod...not more.(here is the End)

Okay just wanted to check it wasn't something breaking the script/npcs being stuck. Loving the mod so far, I always enjoy the ones with a lot of dialogue/script, and not just "okay here's a bunch of animation options with various ppl go have fun".

I'm so very glad to see you haven't thrown up your hands at the almost over powering task you've undertaken.  From what I understand, you (plural) aren't some kids who thought it would be easy, but realized what this would involve.

when i end the working day, hulda keeps giving me the pay and asking to come Tomorrow ....:/

 

whatever i do she Always come towards me and start the same dialogue again.

Suggestion or request, you choose.  Hulda offers room and board while PC is working for her.  I'd like to enter whiterun without anything so would need a room to sleep and store items.  If you do this you'd have to include owner storage for items the PC needs to store and not worry about losing.  I have RND  for sleep and food/drink needs, and inn adjusted prices making it hard to rent a room.  

Or, Hulda could provide room and board for a week giving the PC time to earn enough gold.

I found a solution for Hulda loop. You have to install Creation Kit (if you don't have it yet) from steam, just click Library and go to tools, find it in the list and install. Once you have it running, launch APPS as Active File, now after it loads follow this pattern:

 

Character / Quest / APPS / Side Quest / double click on APPS_SQ01 --- in the open window choose Player Dialogue --- in the branches on the left choose QuitTavernJob --- in the middle of the window under Topics category choose Report_ExtraOrders --- double click on the cursed line "One last question:" (do not fear if you accidently open new window, just press escape until they disappear, then right click Empty and choose delete among options) --- in the new window right click under "Link To:" in the empty space of Branch press Add Link --- the appeared window may seem confusing, among all three lines the third one is what we are after --- stretch Topic so you can see what you choosing from -- Search for Report_HireringWhores_BadTreatment --- after it appears in the list of branches just proceed by clicking Ok's untill you run out of Ok to click onto. --- Now, don't forget to SAVE changes in the upper left corner of the Creation Kit and you are done!

 

P.s. HeroM, you probably already know what I found, but it seems there is an error of script ::WhoreState - in APPS_Controller. I ain't no modder so I don't know what the heck to make out of it.

 

This fix got me past the the Hulda loop, but then everything broke during my second day of work.  Sex/Dance animations wouldn't play any more, sometimes I had to talk to customers or Hulda more than once to get the quest objective to register, none of the people who asked for sex would follow me, etc.

 

Of course, it could just be some insane combination of other mods, scripts, and God knows what else causing the issue.  I'll try to figure it out.

 

Never mind, looks like a compiler error.  Friggin' Papyrus.  Anybody willing/allowed to upload the fixed files, or should I just wait for 0.10.3?

Too many CTDs when saving and such so I decided to uninstall. I couldn't even advance to the whoring jobs with all the bugs.

And yes, I do realize it is a beta. Guess I rushed into a install at first because I liked the reaction to progression in the story.

 

Would like to try again when this mod has gotten some polish. I love the idea and hope APPS really goes places!

I tried it on a fresh character and it seems to be a great start, I had alot of issues with patrons ordering food or sex and then another showing up for the reward or waiting for the food. I also tried to end my day an Hulda looped on me so I had to back up and uninstall. I really hope this or Radiant gets some love, it will be a fun way to start a character.

Got stuck in loops at different points within the first couple days.  Also i think it broke the Inn, the right corner facing the door is dislodged now.  I managed to get to the first stage of the whore test on one save so up to that point it was alot of fun.  I didnt think id have so much fun being a waitress.  Awesome mod thanks.

I had a problem with one start.  But I looked at the load order suggested by Hero and one mod needed to go up above another in load.  Shouldn't have made a difference but APPS worked great after that.
