Sexcraft - A speechcraft overhaul [BETA]

does this break mods that require speechcraft for "persusaion" options? Cant remember the exact mods, but one determined succesful persusion for sex with an npc based on speech level.

@lightspeed77 Nope. Sensuality is still speechcraft in the end, so everything works the same but the exp gains.

@WH-1000XM4s Did you join the server first? The link is on the P+ mod page.

The releases are not private, as long as you have access to the server, you should be able to access the release channel.

To sum up:

- You still need the original Sexlab. You override it with P+.

- You don't need SLAL. It is not compatible with P+ anyway.

- You still need SLAL packs though, that you override with their matching SLSB packs.

- You still need to run your behavior patcher (FNIS/Nemesis/Pandora...) after adding/removing animations and SLSB packs.

- You don't have to install animations in game, like you would have to do with SLAL.

I would like to try P+, but how to install animations ? Their Discord is not really clear ^^

Great mod but using SLP as a requirement is a big mistake. It is very buggy, especially with creature support

 

And acheron? YK is NOT compatible with SLP. Which is weird considering they are from same developer

Sorry, can you be more specific? At which step are you struggling? As long as you follow the instructions on the gist, you should be good.

I guess P+ is too young for you atm, maybe try again later when it gets improved. Glad you like the mod though

Maybe check the FAQ, the What is the best way to ask for support and the Scenes won't start! sections.

 

If nothing helps, check if a ticket is already open with your Papyrus logs in the P+ server. If not, maybe you can open a ticket there.

If you're unsure, just send your papyrus logs in this thread, I'll try to help you.

Have to say your mod is FANTASTIC and I have thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of it. The downside is that P+ is essential and THAT is the deal breaker at moment. Reality is I have been a user of P+ from phase 1 and now into Phase 2, even with the latest 2.8. But the constant bugs makes it unplayable and destroys any immersion. So within the last hour I have deleted everything that is SexLab and gone exclusively Ostim.

I wish I could take Sexcraft with me as it truly is enjoyable. But alas the mess that is P+ (beyond your control) far outweighs the benefit of Sexcraft

If it were possible for Sexcraft to be compatible with Ostim I would instantly get it. But thank you for your vision.... maybe one day

Yeah, installing Sexcraft and/or P+ atm is mainly if you want to help testing the mod and give feedback. Sexcraft will stay in Beta as long as P+ is not ready. Tbh, I decided to flesh out and share this mod to keep myself busy while waiting for phase 2 to be officially released.

I hope I'll have time to finish what I have in mind before P+ comes out, so I can finally play the game 😛

I know you stated you aren't interested in using a custom skill framework, but I was just curious if you'd seen this optional implementation added in the latest csf update?

The distribution is messy but I could link all to perks without problems. I had to tie some of them to other perks that made sense to me, As result it's not as easy to complete as the base version, but that's the way Vokriinator works.

 

Vokriinator has 4 main branches: merchant, support bard, beast tamer and thum that's more oriented to combat.  Now there are 5 main branches + a  small one that replaces and expands upon the Sly perk (Bribe guards) that was alone in a corner. So you will now use Basic Instinct to bribe and then you can get Wandering Hands (I considered moving Wandering Hands to the Pickpocket Tree but I don't know if that could do more harm than good).

Curves replaces the start perk as it also improves prices and replaces the Persuasion boost lost with the Bribe perk gone.

Benefits is now tied to the merchant branch way up at level 70, potentially OP as it overlaps with the other NPC gold perks.

Perverted Thirst, Pheromones, Fascination and Sex Demon now have their own branch that starts after taking Perform & Serenade, it made sense to me, these are also low level seduction perks. You continue from there to  Pillow Talk.

Exhibitionism and Lust Control are more combat oriented perks. These are linked to And The Universe Listens since it's a branch that provides stamina regeneration and other combat buffs and thum buffs.

 

Load order should be:
Sexcraft

Mysticism - v2.3.1
SPERG - v1.8
Adamant - v5.8.3
Path of Sorcery - v2.7
Vokrii - v3.8.2
Vokrii - Mysticism 2 patch
Ordinator - v9.31.0
Ordinator - Combat Styles - ESL - v1.08
Vokriinator Black 

Sexcraft Vokriinator Patch

 

There are other small changes to  some Vokriinator perk names like Protect Your God > Protect Your Goddess, Crown of the False King > Crown of the False Queen and so on.

Important note: Because the base perk has been replaced, there are no perks that improve your Intimidation success rate, doesn't bother me at since Sexcraft has better mechanics to compensate.

I forgot to change the tree name, it's still Speech, easy to do in xEdit.

 

To finalize, it still needs proper perk realignment to look prettier and I will probably not get back to it until there's a Sexlab 1.65 version of Sexcraft or Sexlab P+ gets a stable and and more compatible release.

If anybody wants to improve it or fix any issue, no need to ask, do whatever you feel like.

That's about all.

Just a heads up for anyone downloading this, seems it was made with apocalypse and odin optionals installed and requires them. Also seems to have vanillascript micro optimizations as a master so if you use one of the script optimization packs that includes those, it will have a missing master.

Yes I did, this is great!

 

This will provide several benefits:

- No more experience gain tricks involved (even if with the latest update I think 99.99% of the mods are compatible now)

- No conflicts with other perks overhauls if people don't want to override the speech tree with the sensuality one.

- It would allow me to put much more perks & mechanics that I originally intended to add in the sensuality tree. I scrapped/merged most of the features I had planned (diseases, poisons, combat...) to keep the number of perks reasonable while still providing the original speech perks effects.

 

However, with that being said, using it at this point is not that easy:

- It would require significant refactoring.

- I will have to re-design most of the perks, since they overlap so much with the original speech ones.

- I started to work on extensions that expect sexcraft to have this current structure. Creating a new tree and updating the perks will make me rework big parts of these new mods.

- Finally, not a big deal, but I know for a fact that I won't ever put any point in speechcraft if sensuality gets another tree. I never did before, I just find it so underwhelming even with perk overhauls (well, maybe not with Vokrinator black or ordinator but I don't use them).

 

All in all, I wish I'd had this version of the CSF when I started development. Right now, it would be a lot of work to include it in Sexcraft, so I won't be using it in V1.0.

If Sexcraft ever gets a V2.0, I'll use it for sure, but that won't happen any time soon (since V1.0 is not even released yet 😅)

It won't work with 0.9. A new patch must be made because of the new "Courtship display" perk.

 

Note that the patches are only necessary if you want to use perks from both Sexcraft and your other perk overhaul for the speech tree. Technically speaking, they are not required.

 

In fact, this mod was designed to completely replace the speech tree, not to add perks to existing overhauls. Personally, I just load Sexcraft.esp after Vokrii. This way, I have Sexcraft perks for speech and Vokrii perks for every other skill (destruction, one hand...). No patch required. IMHO, mixing up the perks is a bit strange given that Sexcraft only grants speech experience during sexual activities. This implies that the tree's perks are more or less related to the theme of sensuality, which is not the case for perks from other overhauls.

 

The problem of doing this with Ordinator is that it offers extremely large skill trees, so it can feel a little odd to end up with a speech tree that contains so few in comparison.

Version 0.10.0 is available!

It requires a new save. Don't forget to update SLP+ to 2.8.0.0+, or some stuff won't work!

 

This release is mainly a balance / fixes / QoL update.

The most important feature is the shiny new MCM menu (persisting settings across saves). Courtship display should now have more impact, while Exhibitionism and basic instinct have been slightly nerfed. I also included a lot of fixes, so update to version 0.10.0 if you can.

Hmm, I don't know... It should work.

Do you have a lot of mods? Maybe your papyrus VM is overwhelmed. Try to play the game, wait a few minutes and see if it appears.

If it does not, try with a minimalistic setup.

It it still does not, can you please send me your papyrus logs? The steps are detailed in the FAQ.

No, I don't recommend doing that, especially for scripted mods that don't provide an uninstall process (such as this one). You'll loose your sensuality perks without getting your points back and some scripted stuff will probably break (even if Sexcraft is fairly lightweight in this regard, since most scripts are only active when needed).

 

The mod itself is pretty stable, it can't break your save as long as you don't remove it mid game. All gameplay impacting features (Weight and armor rating updates, experience gains, wet effects, etc...) can be disabled with MCM and if you just ignore the Sensuality perk tree, you won't even know Sexcraft is installed if you don't use it.
