Had a test run through the evening, went just with AIO as I figured MayheM's a redundancy.

Overall seems to work fine,  except I have no idea what nodes it uses for body changes,  especially with muscles. Seems like it superimposes some kind of extra body over the existing one? I'm not sure, but I noticed in cases of extreme values, especially for muscles there are discrepencies. I'm using 3BA body and it doesn't seem to be morphing those sliders, just adds something on top. But that's just my guess.

As I said previously, could use proper 3BA support, akin to what ABBA or Simple Wear and Tear does.

Anyway the pointy feet obviously are custom meshes and do not match the rest of the body. There's a gap. Also for as long as they are equipped, DCL seems to think the character is wearing bondage items and locks out its menus even when there are no devices equipped.

I'm going to play around with it a bit more, I like it so far.

Agreed on better 3BA support, but when I used it it mostly worked fine for me (the morphing at least). I had a lot of problems with the version from Patreon, I'm curious if what is available here on LL has any improvements from the Patreon version.

I will say that anything muscle-related isn't a mesh usually, it's just a normal map. Any CBBE normal map is compatible with CBBE 3BA, and any UUNP normal map should be compatible (I think, don't use it myself) with BHUNP 3BA. So worst case scenario, you might have to find normal maps that work for your body type and manually replace the ones that came with DT.

Posted

So I've been perusing the DeviousTrainingMayhemTexture.bsa archive, and I'm a bit confused. The normal map file seems to be in the same directory as any other normal map for a player character would be, meaning any loose files from any other mod overwrites them. For example, I'm using PB's Silky Skin. Those normals (all of the files actually) are loose, and even though they are way higher in the load order, loose files always overwrite files in a .bsa. So for anyone not seeing the muscle normals show up, that seems to be "normal" if you will (lol).

I don't understand how DT uses those normals in this way, it makes no sense. Even if someone's custom body textures weren't loose and DT was overwriting them, the path is still the path for the default textures, meaning any character would always have those normals. You wouldn't see them fade in from device use, because they are the default texture names at the default character paths for both male and female. I can only believe that this must have just been a massive oversight or something... maybe @skyrimfetcould clarify here?

As it stands, I don't see how the muscle normals could function as-is, let alone how to replace them with something more appropriate for other body mods.

Devious Training II MCM menu will not load, running on AE 1.6.1170. This is the same problem I had before with the Patreon release from... June? Seems this bug has not been fixed yet.

EDIT: I've uploaded my Papyrus.log file, not sure if there are any other logs I could provide that would be helpful. It should show me opening both Mayhem and Martyr MCMs, as well as attempting to open the Devious Training II MCM.

Here's another one after running setstage ski_configmanagerinstance 1.

EDIT: There's clearly something very wrong with the DT2MCM script. 330 occurrences of DT2MCM, with also a bunch of other suspended stacks totally 585 in my rather new save.

oh boy, it's not a bug, it's a feature!
The plan was to slow down the time when there is a fight in order to have an advantage with your opponents if you wear the right combination of devices. Someone has already reported this. I will add in the near future an update that will fix this problem with an option to disable this effect.

Hello, I love the mod but!
Does this feature have an option or not, because I've looked in the MCM and I don't see anything that seems to be linked to it.
Disabling the speed attack doesn't seem to change that either.

Because personally, I find the game just unplayable, it's so slow that I feel like I've got a bug.

As a last resort, I'll try to break everything with sseedit, but if that doesn't fix anything, I'll just wait for an update and uninstall in the meantime.

Mod seems to be well developed. However it is said:

CASE:

I want all my changes to disappear after time:
set the slider: “Strength of loss of training progression (workout)” to 0
set the slider “Strength of loss of training progression” to 0

the slider in the MCM does not allow to reduce it to 0. Its 0.1 minimum. Does that mean it is not possible to fully revert the changes after not wearing DD items?

There really are problems with this mod and MCM.
After a lot of random testing, because the logs didn't really help.
And, I'm not skilled enough in skyrim modding to find glaring errors in the code (even though I looked).
Anyway, I managed to make it work by taking the mod in “all in one”, then (because I don't need it), deleting mayhem and its bsa, then unpacking the other bsa.
for the order: I have the same for installation and load; DDNG -> DDTr -> UD (etc).

edit:
By doing this, I managed to see the MCM menu once or twice.
It's still relatively random, though

As for this unbearable slowdown effect (sorry chief, but I don't like it at all), I don't trust MCM to get rid of it:
In Xedit, check DTRDollEffectSpell and set an impossible condition for the “DTRDoll_scriptME ‘DTRDoll_scriptME’”, if I remember correctly, it clears this thing (and the bonuses that potentially go with it, but I don't care).

Everything is working fine for me so far, except for two (probably new or even work-in-progess?) entries in the MCM, namely the "allow regres" menu, $dt_mcm_regresModel2 and ...Model3. Are they working, and what's the model/math there? :)

Started modding skyrim again and I've noticed that this doesn't seem to recognize my Zaz8+ installation. Both MCMs are fully functional and other mods (SexLab, Devious Devices, ect) recognize Zaz so I'm confident that install is correct. This is causing issues with movement becoming fully disabled when wearing multiple devices that slow movement, or just a hobble dress. I don't have any mods besides DT,DD,Zaz that cause slowdowns as far as im aware. Any suggestions are welcome, for anyone else experiencing this I've found setting Zaz's "Shackled movement speed" to 100% in its MCM allows movement wearing almost any combination of items, but any slowdown on top of a hobble dress still prevents any movement.

Is it possible to only get to a ppoint where devices give you no debuffs or at least only like 20 points in a stat, and not the godlike strength I get otherwise ?

How does the training leveling system work?

Is it per in-game hour or in real life?

Do you have to be moving or doing something for the training to count?

I noticed that at certain times the level goes down, is there a way to avoid this?

Like the previous poster, I keep getting reductions of the training even though I'm wearing the gear, and I don't want to simply switch the "Allow regression" to "never" since I DO want that training to fade over time...

Use the older version that you have to install via the 4 downloads for now, till skyrimfet has the time to update/fix the AIO version. The slowdown at level 6 boots (or corset? not sure which, as they hit level 6 at the same time for me) doesn't happen on the old version.

Allow training to regress options:
Always, Never, 3 or less can regress, 4 or higher can regress, anything except max (5 or lower can regress).

Can find descriptions in data/interface/translations then the applicable language file if you need more info on anything in the MCM (ie if it doesn't show up properly with the whole $name_of_option bug).

Hello skyrimfet,

I play on SSE and I'd like to report some issues (at least I think they are issues).

1) In the Devious Training II MCM, Actors Stats submenu, 3 stats are missing. There is no progress report on Vaginal Piercing, Vaginal Plug and Anal Plug.

2) Same menu, bottom, the Days of Training is always 0.

3) I'm using the new DDNG 0.4.0. It seems DT doesn't recognize the new dangling Vaginal Piercing (SMP?). Haven't checked with the other new devices yet.

4) The Chastity Belt doesn't seem to affect the waist, whereever I set the sliders. Corset works fine. I'm using the latest Caliente 3BBB body.

5) I set the Noise chance to 5 on Arm and Leg Cuffs, but it feels it happens more often. How often the chance is being checked?

Hello, first thank you for the Port. It was nice working, but now on my new game my PC is not selected. The Actor list is empty. And i have no idea how to Add my PC to the Actor List.

The only change i have made was removing DCL 9.0 because i dont need it anymore.

And then i have started a new game.

Has someone any Ideas ? I have reinstalled SLIF and Devious Trainig all in 1. But nothing helps.

Many Thx for some hints.

Hi @Kargano01

If you set up a standard device with DD, the mod—if active—will detect it automatically, register you, and start tracking you.
or? :)

Thank you verry much.. Was working. I was assume it that if i put on some Heels and set them as acting like a DD Heel it also work.
And on the last game i put on some heels from DCL they was also count as DD.

Now i know it.

Thanks.

Hi! I’ve been reviewing the scripts and noticed that some effects (like carry weight buffs/debuffs) are being removed and reapplied even when the actor is already fully trained.

It looks like the system doesn't always check whether the effect is already applied or necessary before calling addSpell() or removeSpell(), which might cause issues like fluctuating carry weight or unnecessary script load — especially at the highest training stage.

I suspect this might be causing some of the flickering or stat instability I encounter even after full adaptation. Maybe adding simple conditional checks (e.g. hasSpell() or comparing GetAV values) before applying/removing effects could help smooth this out significantly.

Also, I noticed that the effect updates and training progression seem to rely on frequent polling (via animation events or regular OnUpdate triggers).

Maybe it would be worth considering tying progression and effect updates to in-game time instead — like checking every in-game hour or day using Game.QueryStat("Days Passed"), or a timer system based on game time rather than real-time event spam. That might significantly reduce script load and improve stability, especially for long playthroughs.

Just wanted to share this observation!

I saw this issue mentioned before but with no answer. Once legs are trained I no longer able to put on any boots. I mean even DD bondage boots. And boots that where added by "boots that works as DD" functionality. It happens after animaion scene is triggered. Feels like this mod equips some shoes not visible in inventory and then refuses to replace them with real boots. I've tried to swich off boot functionality in MCM but checkbox just ignores clicks.
Anything I can do to investigate? I do not want to disable mod  but running around barefoot with huge speed debuff is frustrating.
