I've managed to translate almost all messages in the message section in CK, but can't find all messages. I can't find messages that appear when you equip or remove device like "Calmly and with confidence you lock the chastity belt around your waist" or "whether it's the lack of practice or just bad luck remains shut,....", etc. Where is this?

Neat: I had been wanting to do something like that for both a periodic effect, and for the vibration effect. I'll look in to this, thanks. I have one question/problem and one suggestion. My problem is that I equipped a belt on Lydia along with some plugs, but it doesn't seem to affect her at all. I don't notice her arousal going up, or the plugs ever vibrating (they're the cursed soulgem ones). I have a spell that the mod gave me whose description says it makes the plugs vibrate, but casting it on Lydia doesn't seem to do anything. My suggestion is that it would be lovely to have some options for inviting NPCs to punish you that aren't grody old orc men. Thank you very much for your work on these mods! Glad you enjoyed the mod: NPC support is still rather quirky for periodic events / etc. Tis something that will be addressed in the future. Is there an emergency release command in case you have negative stamina regen for the armbinder+gag combo? I'm having negative stamina regen because of various mods like wear&tear, RND sleep deprivation etc., so i think i'm bound for eternity now ... . But i hardly can resist any mod that has negative modifiers Nope: Temporarily reset your stamina via the console, or find another way out (If you're not gagged, you can seek the aid of those around you). I am curious as to why, if you can make MCM menus, you do not make it clear if user had registered DD Animations. Every time I enter the MCM the Register animations = Not Done, Is this a bug, oversight, or normal function? If the latter can you please change it? There were several posts about this. The word is reregister, not "register". It's a little unclear, sure, though you shouldn't need to use that feature unless you're encountering animation issues with the DD solo masturbation scene. as I poste in the "Alternate Star mod" There seems to be a serious problem with the blindfold... It canot be removed !!! Has anyone had a similar problem? Creature-animations aren't supported at this time, as they lack the tags that this mod uses to filter out improper animations. Problem solved them, everything works as intended, However, is there a way to remove this "effect"? I mean, i like the effect that the chastity belt is causing but I dont want to block SexLabDefeat.. I would like it if my char could still be raped No, sorry. I ran into a conflict with Chesko's Wearable Lanterns. I believe I have fixed it with Tes5Edit. Obviously not something you can incorporate into your main, but if someone else has this problem, it's fairly easy to do. I'll see if I can load up a pick showing the result. Under idle animations->0002A9D3 (Torch Events) Problem: Devious Devices Integration did not forward condition changes from Dawnguard.esm. Problem: Chesko's Wearable Lanterns conflicts with Devious Devices Integration I copied the DD integration esp into an override. I made sure there were 4 conditions. They were copied into the override in the order of: Chesko's, DD Integration armbinder, then the standard 2 from Dawnguard (not the original from skyrim.esm). Make sure the Related Idle Animation #1 in the bottom has ZAZ listed as opposed to NULL. Obviously this is a really rare conflict (not many use Chesko's Wearable Lanterns) but if you do, this may help. Thanks for pointing this out. Quick question guys, and forgive me if this has already been covered. I wasn't able to find anything directly relating to this question in my search. But I could just have been bad at at searching. Anyway, arm binders. Are they supposed to keep the player/wearers arms immobilised during sexlab animations ? Because in my game they arms ( missing hands) move about normally. It losts daft. Amputated hand arms waving about, with the arm binder hanging empty down the players back. Should the arms not remain behind the back immobile ? The cuffs hold the arms behind the back when walking or running, but are they just using different animations ? Would all the sexlab animations need to be redone with immobilised arms ? Sexlab animations are currently unsupported for the armbinder. No compatible animations exist at this time. Simply leave the hands slot stripped during sex to avoid that issue. Hello im kinda new to this site and well new to modding i like this mod and for the most part it works fine for me but im running in too a little problem every things to work just fine when i use the devices on my character. but when i try to put them on any NPCs they act normally. like with the armbinder there arms just clip out of it. any of the gags don't work. can any 1 help me with this? ty Post a copy of your Papyrus.0.log, and I'll take a look.

I titled it "Key to Freedom". anyway I've played Devious Devices for a long time and... ah, screw it! let's get to the meat of my idea. The way I've thought of this, I always saw that dwemer ruins guy (The one that "installs" the cursed soul gem plugs) to be a bit spacey. Well, the extension would make him lose the key. When you get his book, instead of swapping for the inflatable plug, you are told by "Curses" that he sent the key to his keysmith for reforging. now stuck with the plugs inside you head back to the Orc Library Guy to give him the book. He tells you you're out of luck unless you find the key or the keysmith. This completes "Forbidden Tome" and starts "Key to Freedom". You will have to locate the Keysmith (my vision is a sleezy dunmer inside a rather creepy cottage filled with torture stands and devices). When you find him he welcomes you, tells you who he is, talks about being a master of forging chastity belts and plugs, then talks about some research into a dwemer implantation plug that allowed the dwemer to implant fertilized Chaurus eggs into the Falmer... What?! You are sent out to retrieve it. He promises to unlock the belt after you find it. You head into a Dwemer ruin, locate the "Damaged Dwemer Plug", same deal as the white phial quest, then give him the plug. at first, the Dunmer would say something like, "This is... This is...", and it presents responses such as "...uh..." or "I know it looks" or maybe "I don't have the...". Then he'll explode, "This is astounding!! To think that it actually existed all this time. stupendous! Spectacular! and now it's in my hands!! amazing!! He'll suddenly go to the workbench, then the grindstone, then to you... swap your soul gem plugs for the "Dwemer Infusion Plug". He'll also ask a small favor: to submit his research to the Orc Library Guy. When you get there, the Orc looks at the Dwemer plug sticking out and bursts out laughing. You give him the notes. the Orc suddenly tells you that he has a copy of the key and frees you. afore sex commences as per the original quest. This Idea includes a new enema-style plug, which takes a potion from your inventory and applies it into the plug. Upside is you should have a duration effect bonus (x2.5 of original duration). downside is it drains a portion of your health and Health regen. This should add a new quirp to the original questline, a new (if disturbed) character to torment your PC further, and a new effect to play with. Phew!!! that's twice that I typed all this... at least this time I ironed out all the details. I am certainly no modder, but I would love to see if this can be integrated somehow. I'll even be the test monkey! So what do you think?! Interesting plug idea: Future content is indeed planned for the Forbidden Tome quest-line. Sorry for the late response (Been away a while!). Interesting suggestions, will keep them in mind as development continues. Thanks! Getting a lot of CTD's in combat and I'm thinking it might have something to do with the vibrate effect. It's no problem obviously if I just take off the belt but it would really be a shame as this part of the mod is so cool. Could anyone look at my papyrus and see if there's anything I can fix? I've never seen a crash take place there, though: Many different things occur within that function. Could be any number of things failing (Though, why they would CTD without any further error, I have no idea). What spell are you casting? What race is your character? A while back i had run into a problem where some items did not work (the menu wasnt showing, the items were inactives)... I found out it was because of Devious Devices - Captures Dreams Shop: After installing everthing, i went to the shop and bought 3 of everything. THIS seems like the problem, since i restarted the save, went in again, only buying one of each, and everything worked. Now that i have used everything at least once, it seems i can have more than one without breaking. I think it might have to do witht the way the assests are loaded, and that the menus arent properly loaded until you use them, and having more than one before ever using any of them breaks it. Hope this help! The problem wasn't due to you buying multiple items: it was most likely due to you having more than one instance of them in your inventory whilst interacting with them. Skyrim is very finnicky when it comes to deciding whether or not it wishes to send script events (OnEquipped /OnUnequipped). zadil suggests to post effect-ideas for the devices here, so, well... what about something made of silver for werewolves? I know, the devices disappear during the change and came back after pc transformed back to human form, but i see different variants: a) the belt has a 50% chance to hinder the transformation ("You try to release the inner beast, but the silver belt/plug stopps the process and shocks of agony and lust torturing your body") the silver device tortures you and in an over-reaction your body suddenly transforms (like ring of hircine). Could be nice, if there is at first the masturbation animation of the cursed soulgems, you know, you have to leave the tavern/town/shop because you feel the beast comming, but you cant run... i think its moonlight tales has this nice warning system of red blurring and growling c) a silver plug that mystically stays in body after beast-transformation, given you the usual vibrations. hmmm okay, i see there is a lack of animations... So if anyone is playing a werewolf and not using any big overhaul this mod helps lots!

But srsly, this is the most well made mod here next to the entire SL framework and the amount of work that must have went in is crazy. So is there a person I can visit a specific key I can craftt? My characters a strong willed girl, and would rather not go down that route: As Soon as he undid my bindings I'd be slitting his throat. Help appreciated, please and thank you. EDIT, Well After trying a million failing ideas and much googling, I realised there could be no intended alternative end to the quest :( I could see no further options, I'd examined his desk and found no key. I'd deftly slid my hands into his garments, the noticeable bulge in his trousers sadly was not a key and I'd withdrawn my hand feeling shame at only being slightly disappointed at what I'd found. The lock must be magical in nature. No surprise - I felt that familiar pang of guilt and disappointment within myself swell in my chest, -of course I'd been so stupid! Urag was a bloody mage! Of course the mechanism would be magically sealed.Damn orc thought he'd got me cornered. Thinks only he can give me what I need, and release me from this infernal contraption. He's wrong though. It's him who wants something from me... I bite my lower lip in anticipation of the thought of what is to come. I can already taste my release... . By binding me, he's shown his hand, He wants me, I now control how this will play out, you old fool. Men. So simple.I know now how what I'm going to do, I judder as the energy behind my eyes, in my brain begins to surge. I can feel individual hairs on the back of my hand stand up. YES! What is the console command to play the chained animation/pose? I think the animation name is ZAZAPCAO304, the command to use it is playidle <anim name>. There is a list of all the animations from the ZAZ Animation pack in the ZAZ animations folder.

As an addendum, next time I had sex, the quest Forbidden Tome completed, and it cleared the quest from my log, weird but helpful.

I have tried uninstalling every mod that required Devious Devices along with Devious Devices and made a clean save, but the problem still occurs.

That error message indicates that you've done something to damage your script environment beyond usability: DD throws that error and aborts the update loop, rather than contaminate your save. Post a copy of your Papyrus.0.log (The very same message tells you that your log contains more information), and we might learn more about what's causing your issue.

Whenever I load, a message pops up saying, "A fatal error has occured with your Devious Devices installation. Incomplete uninstall attempt perhaps? Aborting update chain." Also, when you start the quest, I suppose the objects are to be equipped by themselves? For me, they don't, however, their effects seem to work once I manually put them on. I have tried uninstalling every mod that required Devious Devices along with Devious Devices and made a clean save, but the problem still occurs. That error message indicates that you've done something to damage your script environment beyond usability: DD throws that error and aborts the update loop, rather than contaminate your save. Numerous properties that the mod requires to function are None. I don't even know how one would go about causing this, aside from using skyrim's development console commands (fcf, hlp, etc)

I don't even know how one would go about causing this, aside from using skyrim's development console commands (fcf, hlp, etc) I certainly haven't used any of those - when it comes to console, all I've used it for is to add a few items, nothing extreme. I'll just try using the other save I made and see if I can do anything from there. I usually don't fiddle with mods in any way other than what is necesarry for them to work in-game, so I don't know what could've happened.
Spamconsumer Posted March 13, 2014 Posted March 13, 2014 I've been trying to jump into modding with the "live a deviant life" mod, but I seem to be having trouble with this one. when I start a new game I get the message "Libs is none in the ZadNPCquestscript. Incomplete uninstall/upgrade attempt?" but the game continues to start anyway. When I leave the starting area and appear in the world wearing bondage I immediately get these messages. "An error has occured with you installation of Devious devices. Please check the log for more information. Error text: config not initialized. User didn't update properly?" Error text: getplugratemult returning -1" When I try to use a spell to remove a locked binding it always works, but I get these error messages first. "An error has occured with you installation of Devious devices. Please check the log for more information. Error text: config not initialized. User didn't update properly?" "An error has occured with you installation of Devious devices. Please check the log for more information. error text: getunlockthreshold returning -1" I tried inputting the mods with nexus mod manager, and later manually. I've been running the FNIS generator whenever I change things, and I've tried putting integration both before and after assets. This is pretty much my first time trying to mod anything. Help would be much appreciated.
