Hello dear mod author,

After many months of various crashes and reinstalls, I've now switched from Vortex to MO2 -> to get a working version in 1.6.1170.

I'm slowly getting to grips with this mod as well. In the first step, I'm trying to get the "Kangmina Core" working... that is, Serana (as Kangmina's replacement) becomes a member of the Kangmina "collective" - and changes her clothing.

Thanks to MO2, the loading order of the mods is much easier than with Vortex.

Currently, it looks like this:

- Kangmina Serana

- Queen oh the Damned -> Kangmina Patch

- Kangmina (with active Serana replacement)

Only after I loaded the separate Serana replacement BEFORE the Kangmina mod - after "Kimshin" disappeared - did the dialogue line appear to add Serana to the "Kangmina Circle"!

The next step is installing the SDA mod... which has been expanded more and more since then. I put SDA BEFORE the Kangmina block because I'm afraid that SDA might overwrite something in the Kangmina mod, causing the aforementioned conversation option to disappear or not appear.

The pain of testing is that the Kangmina mod is so shaky that it requires a complete character restart every time I make a change.

Since I start in the Riverwood Tavern via LAL, I immediately know when things are "on fire" when I enter the main room... as soon as I see a girl from the Kangmina troupe here, I fail.

If everything's okay in the tavern, I can go outside to the city gate to recruit "Kimshin" and make my way to the "Dawnwatch."

All in all, that's 10-20 hours of gameplay.

And no, I'm NOT using the "crazy fox spirit" for testing.

Yes - I actually have to start a test run again today - because after installing "enb" -> something isn't working again.

I load a save game in the crypt - which is BEFORE activating Serana's "awakening" process... i.e., before the player lets their hand be pierced by the thorn.

- Moving the "coal basins"

- Coffin rises

- Serana awakens

- Interaction with "Red Pussy" and "magic away" sword

- Farewell to Kimshin

- Final dialogue with Serana and selecting the Kangmina dialogue line

- Serana changes her clothes and music plays

As soon as the music ends -> Serana puts her old outfit (vampire armor) back on.

So, everything starts again from the beginning - because as long as the Kangmina sequence doesn't work properly - I don't need to add any more mods to the SDS list.

Ah, I've also come out of the crypt cave several times with Serana (in her Kangmina outfit).

P.S.

I hope you're doing well.

💖

Edit:

26 hours later... another failure - Serana doesn't even keep her Kangmina clothes on for 2 seconds.

The Kangmina conversation option appears - the music starts - the clothes are changed... and immediately back again.

-

I'm definitely fed up... because I have NO idea what's interfering here.

-

To make any progress, I need (as a comparison example) an actually functioning loadout list... without it, it's just "fumbling in the dark."

Hallo lieber Mod-Autor,

- Kangmina Serana

- Königin der Verdammten -> Kangmina-Aufnäher

I'll quote myself here

-

I was, and still am, on "your" Discord channel... but instead of getting help there, I either get "general spots" or am even mocked by your users there... obviously, people who have real problems with your mods are bothering me there.

-

Unfortunately, you haven't been any real help here either... and whether I'll ever get the crucial information (loading order) - I doubt it now.

-

If the flattery of your "followers" is good for your psyche, then this might be all right for you.

Hi miauzi.. I apologize for not helping more, I was in the middle of a really rough week.  the replacer, kangmina and sda can be placed in any order really as long as sds loads after.  by swapping the replacer and kangmina mod, her appearance changes to the one you load last.  if you get the sds books (plural) at the start you should be good to go.  unless you have another mod touching serana.  I apologize again for the delay, and I hope all is well with you

Hallo Miauzi.

I came to the Discord channel hoping for help - but it's 99% about everything else and almost nothing about SDS.

Ultimately, I misinterpreted your invitation to visit your channel - so clearly my fault.

If the environment there helps reduce your stress, then it's all fine with me!

Now to my problem:

I'm not even ready to add the SDS parts yet - I'm still working on correctly installing the SDS requirements... and that's about 20 mods!

You yourself wrote in your description of your work -> that you originally created it as a thematic extension to the "Kangmina" mod.

And now I'm trying to get the Kangmina mod to work correctly - although I'm not really aiming for her specific singing performance.

That worked for a few hours of playtime... until I continued building my mod list.

I now suspect that installing SDA is affecting the behavioral AI of the Kangmina mod.

SDA isn't just a dialogue enhancement - it also adds "action" elements to it.

When this bug occurred - that Serana swapped her (just-put-on) Kangmina outfit back to her vanilla outfit - I noticed something -> she was drinking a potion (the typical NPC drinking motion, but without an item in her hand).

Spoiler

correct outfit changes

she changes her outfit back again - but the Kangmina movements (the "dancing") in the dialogue remain

ScreenShot7.jpg.bdf5d0c6d64b647e678c92c0415545f6.jpg

I didn't initially attach any importance to this... but yesterday I read the description of another dialogue enhancement for Serana.

The author emphasized that he didn't change anything about Serana's original behavior... unlike SDA - he cited her feeding from blood potions as a reason for this.

You yourself recommend combining your mod with SDA... Regarding "Serana's split personality"... only then is it absolutely necessary - that the Kangmina mod and SDA don't clash when it comes to behavioral AI.

Regarding "Nether Follower Framework" - NFF

According to the urgent recommendation of its mod author -> definitely put it at the end of the load list.

And of course, don't "import" Serana as a follower.

But you don't even get to "import" Serana into NFF until the beginning of the crucial dialogue sequence (immediately after "Kimshin" disappears).

And during the first successful playthroughs - adding Serana to the Kangmina squad (via the dialogue option) - NFF was already installed.

I now suspect (also after reading many comment pages on Nexus) that perhaps 90% of all SDS users know nothing about Serana's "Kangmina Mode"... because they probably never see that line of dialogue.

Which isn't really dramatic - because of all the actions in the SDS mod, that's not even 0.1%.

If there are questions about her outfit after opening the coffin, it's usually about putting on the "Hellraiser" outfit.

That didn't work correctly for me two years ago either... by the way, I always had the books you mentioned back then!

If you have NFF, can you ultimately "correct" all of that?

Conclusion:

Why am I focusing so much on the Kangmina part?

I started switching from Skyrim SE to AE five months ago... when my loadout became unmanageable with "Vortex," I switched to MO2 two and a half months ago.

If I'm going to put in this enormous learning effort (for my advanced age), I also want everything to work smoothly.

How can you help me in your limited time?

The easiest thing would be a "copy" of the loading list (i.e., the order of the plugins) from your Wabbajak version of SDS... that would give me a reference to compare with my list.

Meanwhile, I'm continuing to work on building my mod list to the point where I can continue my blog story.

Only when it's working properly will I dare to try Kangmina and SDS again.

Even though I may sound a little frustrated, it has nothing to do with you personally... it's because my health is pretty much "in the basement" these days - and it's making it even harder for me to concentrate on things like modding.

I think i might know whats going on here.. the very latest sda version made some kind of a change in her outfit manager, so she will not appear nude.  I myself rolled back to the previous version.. after i noticed other potential anomalies (sds still works perfectly.. its just I didnt want to deal with it).  as far as dialog mods like sda, they dont actually touch seranas record.. so they are safe with kangmina and sds.  Yep dont import serana into any follower framework if using sda or kangmina.  As far as my load order.. i dont have a list.. but you can see everything if you scroll through the mods in the nexus collection. Load order is not there, but for my mods and requirements, just put the requirements first.. I intentionally dont clean masters on some mods.. so it kinda forces an order with sds addons 😉  The only variable is replacer or kangmina last.. I suggest replacer.

I don't even plan on adding Serana to the NFF.

It was basically insinuated that the error I recorded was actually triggered by my action (include her in the NFF).

I only recorded that I don't have the opportunity to add her via dialogue -> because the Kangmina sequence (and the dialogue lines shown in the image) come before that!

However, the NFF does have the option of preserving her original AI patterns (set by previous mods) and NOT replacing them with the NFF patterns.

However, you should only do that AFTER the second encounter with her... so either when you meet Serana in Dawnguard or after you deliver the Bloodstone Chalice to Harkon and are sent with her to search for the Moth Priest.

-

Well, apparently the latest SDA version isn't yet safe to use with the Kangmina mod... especially when it comes to Serana's special Kangmina abilities.

The loading order of the "Serana-Kangmina" replacement and the Kangmina mod is also important... at least not for me.

If I load the replacement AFTER the Kangmina mod, does it overwrite something -> so that this particular dialogue line isn't triggered?

-

I wonder if this is because I'm using both the Serana replacement from the Kangmina mod itself and the separate one?

What happens if I don't activate the "Serana Replacement" option in the Kangmina installer?

I can't try it out for a few days, though, because my wife's important data hard drive (1 TB with manga and anime) has crashed recently.

Attempts to save at least some of the data are being made via my PC, but with a very low data rate... so gaming is out of the question.

By now, I've long since decided to forgo SDA.

I actually know all the dialogue content and scenes the author wants to create... of course, I also tested the latest SDA for a while before installing Kangmina.

Ultimately, I don't like it - the version from three years ago wasn't as heavily focused on "glitter vampires"!

If I want to have a Serana with a "split personality" in my story, I can also design and create the relevant dialogues and scenes from memory or my "head cinema."

Addendum:

What I've always found concerning about your abundance of "companions" -> they clog up the inns - just look at what's going on with SDS at Helga's in Riften *gggg*

But there is a way to create a little "order" here:

The author's main mod is "The Circle of Lust" – which I plan to use in conjunction with SDS:

So that the female "Dragonborn" can finally satisfy Serana's sexual needs, she is sent to this club for training.

The club owner (a succubus) and Serana know each other... from wherever - it's deep in the past (Serana talks about it in SDA) - that before she was locked in a coffin, she had the task of using her sexual charms to subjugate various men (and probably women too).

In the spirit of the "classic" vampires - which is the core content of SDS.

Moreover, this club is a perfect blood bank for a vampire clan - you have to deal with them several times during your "training" there.

With the mod I linked, you can keep potential companions (from their taverns, temples, and mortuary halls) imprisoned in enemy fortresses, caves, and dungeons.

Please read the mod description - the mod might fit well into your SDS concept.

I also think it fits well into my story concept because of other companion mods - which is why it's pretty high on the list of others to come. Mods to test.

I haven't added "ZAZ" to my mod list yet... but I have already tested some of the suggested additional dungeons.

Then there is no "ridiculous hunt" for the Moth Priest - but the "epic search" for the -> closest confidants of our "Queen of Screams"

sounds like another great blog miauzi 🙂 .  I have used circle of lust in the past and found it to be awesome.  for kangmina.  yes select the serana replacer option.  Load the seperate kangmina replacer after it.  When sds is loaded after it puts the kangmina features back.  It should work a-ok.  Unless you have something else that touches her record. That captive followers looks so cool.

I could have used this information – that SDS restores Kangmina mode – a good three years ago.

You've never told me that so directly before... but no matter – now I've received some very important information.

Well – then I can't test the Kangmina mod without SDS... I've basically been chasing a phantom for weeks.

:flushed:

So you've taken a look at the suggested mod?

I'm currently testing one of the additional dungeons -> Morthal Barrow

Edit:

This order:

1) Kangmina Mod

2) Serana Replacement for Kangmina

3) SDS

In point 2, this allows you to use any other Serana replacement (provided a UD patch exists for it)... and the Kangmina Mod's behavioral AI for Serana is applied to this visual replacement.

The crucial clue was -> "Kangmina's functions will be restored."

And that's exactly what I didn't understand back then!

I have now tested some of the recommended mods for "Dungeons":

1) Siege at Icemoth https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/109541

The starting point for the sea voyage to these islands is not far from the jetty, which you must reach to travel to the castle of Serana's vampire clan.

There are a lot of undead, but the difficulty is low, so it's easily manageable even with a low-level character.

It would even be possible without Serana herself—along the lines of, "So, you want to help me? Then find and free my confidante XYZ on this island—and don't come back without her."

2) Morthal Barrow https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/90737

Since it's mostly vampires causing trouble here, I think it would fit well with SDS... basically an upgraded version of the vanilla Vampire quest, which you get from Sybille Stentor (court mage in "Solitude").

Since I've made my NPC vampires significantly more dangerous (they're also invisible) via "Better Vampire," this would be a good test run for Serana's abilities.

As a reward, you receive, among other things, a fairly effective spell against the undead -> Sunfire... which belongs to the "Restoration" class (which is a good way to level this class).

3)  The Temple of Black Rock SE https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/23362

To go solo, you should be at least level 50-60... and even then, it will be very difficult.

Main enemies -> Draugr Deadlords - always in groups - often 3-4 of them at once... but also 6-8.

But we also have Dragon Priests and, finally, Dremora.

Serana's special summons and kill spells are essential here - if you're still at a low level yourself.

And importantly - there's no quest pointer in this mod - this is still a (revived) classic from the early days (LE version from 2012).

This means you have to use your head to solve the puzzles.

When testing against these enemy hordes, I only made progress thanks to my "cheat" ring... and I was at level 35.

I'll leave it with additional "dungeon" mods for now. In the next few days, I'll complete the installation for "Captive Followers."

and work on how to create a list (JSON file)... i.e., where each follower is "stored."

A romance with Serana?

Have you actually read the mod's description?

In a figurative sense, the saying "Since when does food talk to the cook" applies to the player... Who the "food" is, you should be pretty clear about when it comes to a vampire.

😈

Seriously, the relationship between the player and Serana is more like that of a typical naive victim who encounters a sexually irresistible, bloody nemesis.

Yes – if you want Serana to have a split personality – then you'll obviously need a "contrarian" mod

on one hand

Zitat

Transforms Serana into a sexy, bloodthirsty, sex-crazed death machine. She kills her enemies with sex, if she doesn't turn them inside out first. She kills in many horrific and cruel ways.

on the other hand, a shy high school student ala "Glitter Vampire" ... that's what you get with "Serana Dialogue addon" (SDA)

For a woman like Serana—who was brutally raped, humiliated, and abused by an "evil god" (in order to become a "Daughter of Coldhaven")—it's probably quite difficult to obtain the blessing of another deity (which is what a wedding in a temple of Mara is, after all).

I myself played the vampire side with the "SDA" mod—there, as a vampire, you enter into a union with her—but without Mara's blessing... I chose the cave with the ancestral moths for the "ungodly" vow.

Hello. In my search to find an archived copy of Old Hroldan Farm (NSFW), I was directed here as a patch was created to connect this mod with it and was hoping if anyone had a copy they could share. Thanks for any assistance.

Hi 👋 I'm playing the Our Dark Lady Serana. When I approach the mages in Winterhold with my small mamon and succubi summons, they immediately fight with mages. Is there any way to circumvent this problem? I tried summon/unsummon spell from Nexus, NFF dismiss all, killing succubi with Molag bal fire. Nothing works, I can't start any Winterhold quest

You must get rid of ALL these summons before you even enter the Winterhold room for the first time.

Background: Something (from your companions) is turning the College of Mages faction hostile.

While it is possible to change this status ("hostile") manually (console commands), there could also be a fundamental error between the mod pack (serana dead sexy) and the rest of the game.

This can be checked, for example, by starting the game as an apprentice at the academy (e.g., via LAL start)... and by NOT summoning any succubi in the dungeon cell at the starting point!

I can't seem to find the Nympho Elf's MME Tweak's file for the Wabbajack install, it seems to have vanished from Lovers Lab. Is it still needed or does someone have the file? Unless there is another way to get the mod list to work without it or something like that.

short review for SDS working with SDA

I used MO2 and installed all prerequites. Then newest SDA 4.31+ SDS until Capstone, then added all the remaining mods.

I use Kangmina Serana, she is nice and works fine.

Do not install everything what exist, only what you really need...

I had always problems and CTDs with

Empires of the Cult (only landscape west of Dushnik Yal)

Travelling Merchants (Animals going into Taverns, Crashing with fasttravel, as the caravans parked at the fasttravel spot.

Loadorder with MO2: fully automatic intern loot.

so it looks like:

SDA

Kangmina Serana

UD_Serana

SDS

Super importent: Deactivate Seranas Outfit System as soon as possible.

Now she uses Hellraiser. She changes to her Vanilla Outfit during Dawnguard Quests shortly for several times - but after location change, Hellraiser is worn again.

You can import her into NFF too, so you can change her combat style or change her outfit.

If you do not change her combat style, she can wipe out a whole city - for example during a dragon attack or fighting against Vampire Travellers

(and she can kill your followers or yourself)

If you want Ashe too, you must use console for one quest, Winterstone Castle uses a cell for one quest, no working patch exists...

PS: No Crash or CTD since some weeks...

PS2: If you are planning to make Vanilla Quests, do not use SDS Followers or Seranas Pets, disable them ... (or make a save file to checkout if they produce problems)
