The problem most people experience is that they do not realize mods' scripts get written into the save file. Need to be careful though you don't have other Sexlab associated mods which are incompatible with SLP+.

That does not work all of the time. Yes, you could clean up the scripts in the save, but there is always the potential that your save would still be broken after doing so. That is very much an 'at your own  risk' method, and not something any reputable person will recommend to random people they don't know the skill level of. If you haven't run into that particular problem yet, it's just a matter of time.

Hey, quick question: Since we don't need SexLab Tools and SexLab animation Loader, how do you guys change animations? Used to get a list all all the animations and stages I could choose from, but that's gone.

I have asked Scrab if the public release of phase 2 (V2.10.2.0) to LoversLab means that further versions will not need a new game. Her plan back then was to make future updates save to update mid-save.

So far I have not read anything contradictory in the update records.

A proper re-creation of Tools is in the works at the moment.

Iirc [-] or [´] cycles through animations (keys might be different on a US keyboard).

Ah, I see. So we don't have any other mod that could let you select animations at the moment?

I'm not sure why, maybe I installed it incorrectly or another mod is causing the issue. But when a scene starts, it starts normally but on the first transition from the first stage to 2nd stage the actors swap positions, So the female is actually in the male position and vice versa, but when I hit the hotkey to switch to a different scene everything works correctly again with the actors in the correct position and the new scene plays out correctly. Could I have done something wrong? I do have Papyrus script overwriting sexlab framework.

Nope.

p+ reworks the animation registry, and as Scrab wants to re-create Tools herself no one else bother to re-create it.

Unless a mod explicitly tells you to overwrite SexLab p+ it will break it. Which should be not a single mod.

Mod authors that need functionality that p+ does not provide are better advised to talk Scrab than to alter a framework still heavily in development.

That might also just be an error in the animation definition, where in the creation the behavior of the first actor has been swapped with the ones of the second one. These mistakes happen, there are also quite a few animations which have incorrect tags and thus are picked incorrectly

 

Other than what Someone said, mods that overwrite SexLab P+ are usually ill willed, its better to just contact me to implement whatever you needs to be added. Theres also a chance that w/e you want to do is already possible without changing anything and I might justve forgotten to add the API entry (or you cannot find the respective feature youre looking for)

Just installed latest SE version and got an error about unable to load sexlab animations from Data\SKSE\Sexlab\Registry ?
Folder is empty or does not exist.

Do people really restart from scratch whenever a mod is updated?

Half of the hotkeys dont work currently, this will be addressed with the next update

The next update will also re-introduce Debug Notifications (so mods like Apropos (or however it was called) will be fully functional again)

Depends on the mod. Some mods, like character presets almost never need a restart, other mods might need a new game because the author changed certain elements and doing an update would introduce conflicts that almost certainly crash the system. Typically, the author will state in the description if a restart is necessary. So read the description before updating.

i have the same Issue

played yesterday normal ( to 3am in the night)
today ( around 6pm) i startet MO2 , start Skyrim - same Message

Reinstall - no solution
Start New Save - no solution

every time i start Skyrim SKSE - this Message pops up.
Ignoring this message all looks fine - only no animitaion can be registratet to SexLab

only change - deactivate one Animation Pak - there was everytime t-pose error
No Mods changed

 

 

i found my issue

 

i deactivated the automated SLSB conversion - here is the SexLab registry located
Problem solved - old Saved deletet - new game

now i must find all not correct working animations and deactivate them manually.

It's not an issue, it's only informing you that you don't have animations installed, or any animations that will work with SexLab P+. Download and use Automated.SLSB.Conversions.v0.8d (under downloads) over existing SLAL animation packs. It's already mentioned under the Install instructions on GitHub, but I guess it's not worded optimally or give enough information. --the source of all confusion.

 

More info: The original SexLab mod uses SLAL (SexLab Animation Loader) animations, but SexLab P+ uses a new format called SLSB, ergo why you need a converter -- Automated.SLSB.Conversions.v0.8d. Also, you no longer need to install SexLab Animation Loader with SexLab P+.

yes , at first i was confused , this was my first modding at Skyrim AE , so my issue was i installed animations the old way - packs installed SLAL installed , FNIS running all shows fine , but i had issues with the animations. So i try to deactivate not well known animation packs. And deactivaded the SLSB conversion.

Thats result in the registry issue.

@Angahran has you installed the SLSB Conversion ? if not , do it and the registry error is done.

Just want to comment that my upgrade of my own setup appears to be successful. Previously, I was using SexLab 1.66b, SLAL, and my own update to SLGP. I disabled the latter two and allowed P+ to overwrite 1.66b. I also use SCOE; I allowed P+ to overwrite it.

 

My installed animation packs are MNC, proxy, psyche, znaroks, wizard6, nya, baka, anub, and billyy - all the latest versions at the time of this writing. BabyImpala provided SLSB conversions for the first six in an FOMOD format. VxeR provided SLSB conversions for the last three in complete packs, so this required a bit of file deleting since I don't install everything from each of the three installers. Otherwise, easy peasy lemon squeezy.

When using the Erin race as players, their facial expressions do not move during sex animations, probably because they use the opparco mfg Command to invoke facial expressions.
Is there any way to make these compatible with Mfg fix NG (which SexLab p+ uses)?
