The new SLP+ HUD (since version 2.18—I'm currently using 2.19 in a test run) has a configuration setting for when you're in a scene; you can toggle the game's vanilla HUD on or off (though it seems that if you have custom HUDs that don't affect the vanilla ones, they might still show up). If you have SkyHUD, you can adjust the bar positions. I haven't checked if the SLP+ HUD's position can be changed; you can configure certain aspects of the HUD in the Theme button, but nothing related to its placement. Maybe the settings are in an .ini or some other file, but it really ought to be a feature you can tweak in-game as well. I use SkyHUD with Customizable UI Replacer on the top of it but it doesn't matter - I just tried to disable SkyHUD and even vanilla bars disappear as soon as scene starts, maybe need to start a new game as well don't know. Found this Game HUD checkbox but it was enabled by default and playing with it didn't change anything. I guess I will just revert back to legacy SL as usual and wait for another half a year - maybe next version it will be more noob friendly. 😅
