If you eat crazy amount of jellies, eventually experiment/tentacle eggs appear as an override option in the alien device. It affects both the player and NPCs, because that function isn't separated to be NPC-specific (yet). So, kind of yes, but it isn't a really an intentional feature.
rubber_duck Posted June 30, 2024 Posted June 30, 2024 Enjoying the mod so far, but there's an issue with chems (cures) added by it - it doesn't appear in the game. The reason for this is because I run a few mods that alter vendors, and as such over the 20-ish hours of playtime on my save, I didn't find a single cure chem from this mod (to cure jelly addiction, for example). Would you consider adding the recipes for crafting so all cure items are craftable? You can spice this up by adding special eggs as a requirements for crafting (you know, those from Tentacles or something). Also, and this is a minor one, but please consider adding description to consumables - especially Growth and Speed drinks. It's a minor annoyance but I'd still like to see it solved. Other than that, this mod is very good and it really spices up the gameplay! Keep up the great work!

Skyrim has all the fun pregnancy stuff. 1

Cures are only inserted into doctor vendor leveled lists. I could add them to chem dealers. Not sure if that would help in this case. Perhaps adding a Basic Object Swapper rule to turn wine occasionally into a cure. Maybe there's something more useless that could be used for a swap. I've checked over and over again with all vendors in DC (doctor included), and it doesn't show up. Regarding the Base Object Swapper, you could swap herbal remedies (check the table under Diseases here: https://fallout.fandom.com/wiki/Fallout_4_diseases). That has the potential for spicing things up due to making remedies rarer. I noticed that over the past two (real world) hours, my character automatically consumes jellies and jellied food. That's due to jelly addiction, and it's understandable. However, I went to check out the Device in order to see how many packages my character consumed, and I noticed that 'Unit State' is 'Unscheduled Pregnancy'. What does that mean? It doesn't have percentage indicating progress (like when pregnancy or recovery occurs). On top of that, literally 5 minutes after I checked the status, an animation happened with Tentacles. Correct me if I'm wrong, but those are set to 100% chance of causing a pregnancy. After the animation has finished, my character was supposed to get pregnant by Tentacles, yet the Unit State is still Unscheduled Pregnancy, number of eggs is 0, and so is the weight of eggs (makes sense - no eggs are present). I've configured the mod to use only Annomalies/Animations as pregnancy triggers if it helps somewhat. Did something get messed up? I doubt, but you never know... Any help is much appreciated, keep up the great work!

By default, new egg pregnancies won't start if FPE is doing something. There's a MCM/Integration setting to turn it off, but I would recommend keeping it on in order to avoid problems with morphs. 1

I'm running FPE (not Redux; the Ego's version) and forgot that my character is on her period. I use RSE2: RSE (Reproductive System Effects) alongside Ego's FPE and because my character is on her period, no new pregnancies will happen. Thanks for clarifying it out! You might consider changing the string - 'Unscheduled Pregnancy' is, I feel, a vague description and doesn't tell much. If it's possible, change the string to 'On period' or something similar. Oh, and after digging through WLEGG MCM I did find the setting you mentioned. I'll keep it ON as morphs are something I don't want to mess up. Thanks for help, I really appreciate it!

I could change to that something like non-egg pregnancy, but FPER has those, so it wouldn't always make sense.

After the period is over, the status indicates 'Ready to become pregnant', but my character cannot get pregnant at all. This is what was happening with WLEGG on my save: 1st pregnancy: Yum Yum Eggs - worked normally, character laid a bunch of chicken eggs. 2nd pregnancy: Tentacles - caused by me manually initiating a scene, everything functioned properly. Then the RSE period happened. It lasted 7 in-game days, and during those 7 days, the status indicated 'Unscheduled pregnancy'. During this time, my character participated in 2 scenes with Tentacles, so she should've gotten pregnant but due to periods - she did not, and that's understandable. However, now that the period is over (and her status is ready), she participated in 4 new Tentacle scenes - none of which got her pregnant. During the 1st scene (of those new 3 after period), she was equipped with FPE Condom, so that would explain why she didn't get pregnant. So I unequipped the Condom from her. During the 2nd scene, she sufficed every possible condition that'd cause pregnancy (scene started perfectly fine, no Condom equipped), yet she didn't get pregnant again. I then started digging. At first I thought it was because of another mod, Provocative Perks. I use that mod to spawn Tentacles upon killing the hostile NPC. I don't think the mod in question is responsible as it only spawns the Tentacles and doesn't control anything else. I then manually initiated the 3rd scene by manually placing a new tentacle to her position. The outcome was the same, all other mods function properly, but to WLEGG she is still not pregnant (despite meeting all the conditions to do so). Then it dawned on me, I'm running Native Animation Framework (NAF) as well as AAF to NAF Bridge - maybe the issue is because all the scenes are initiated and played by NAF rather than AAF? So I then manually initiated another scene in AAF - and the outcome was the same. She cannot get pregnant with eggs at all. I've configured WLEGG to use Annomalies to determine pregnancy (hence the scene stuff I just wrote), and I've set mod update delay to 4 in-game hours. It could be that I need to wait 4 in-game hours and then she'll get pregnant, but I honestly doubt it. After my first manual Tentacles scene (before RSE period), I'd bet she's gotten pregnant immediately after the scene. Oh, and regarding the FPE Condoms, I'd bet she was equipped with one once the first Tentacle pregnancy happened (manually initiated NAF scene, before RSE period). Could you take a look at this? It could be that RSE leaves a permanent change once character gets the first period, but I'm not entirely sure. I think I know what's going on and it's an internal bug in Eggspansion. Consuming Yum Yum should get the pregnancies going again. If not, changing to some other mode like Jelly Activation until a pregnancy happens should do the trick. Funnily enough, I recently made a change that fixes that problem even though I wasn't aware of it. That is, removing once per pregnancy limit of animation activities causing things. Thanks for the thorough description, it was easy to figure out what was the problem without even looking at the code.

That's just on a technical level. I don't have a console, but I'm pretty sure everything there is heavily censored.

A nest found in the Glowing Sea and near Cambridge? All Eggspansion eggs are listed inside spoiler boxes on the description page. No ninja additions currently. So many creatures. I could spend rest of my modding days just adding new egg types. 1
