Do we still need the two Seasonal Landscape patches in the patches chapter?

No, those are leftovers. Fixed

No problem, and bodyslide can be a pain, give this a try, or at least it should give you a start, I do not use Aylis body preset or their prebuild stuff, so if you are then choose the different options are required.

Open up bodyslide, when it has done it's thing, look at the section labelled outfit/body, depending on what you are using here you would want is the CBBE 3BA Body Amazing, I think.

Next go down onto the Preset, from here choose the preset you want to use to build everything around, here you will find things like CBBE Curvy, CBBE Petite etc, pick the preset you are going to use.

Next go down to the bottom left of the screen, where you may have to select your skeleton, you will see a tick box with meshes\actors\character etc etc, right click where it tells you to right click then select the skeleton, in this case it would be CBBE 3BA Body amazing, then just below it make sure that there is a tick in the build morphs box.

Now while holding down CTRL, left click on the batch build button, you will now get a list of everything that is about to be build in bodyslide, just click build, you will now have a file explorer open up, asking you where you want to build things to, this does not matter as it is a working directory, you could create a new mod in mo2 and point it there, or pretty much anywhere as long as there is not a meshes directory already there, and of course somewhere you can find the place again, when you decide on where to build click the select folder button.

After a bit of time, and it will depend on various things you will now get a conflict resolution screen, this will happen if you have multiple items for the same piece, so for example I get goddess outfit, and goddess outfit 3BA, put a tick in the circle next to the one you want to build, if the default is fine then great, work your way down this list, till you finish it, then click ok, now wait and sooner or later it will finish building the outfits, if you pointed it to a new mod in mo2, then you should now be able to just activate that mod, if you used a working directory, you can now zip that directory up, and install it as a new mod, when done select the new mod and see what it overwrites, you can also disable any previous bodyslide files you created.

I had exactly this when I changed to redbags falkreath, I missed a patch somewhere, one of the lux's I think ?

All terrain fixed...

However... I cannot rent a room in RedBags Dead Man Drink...

Looking at Valga Replacer....

Her rent script goes back to vanilla (If I disable the valga replacer renting room works fine)

Im having a little issue where everything works fine, except for the animations. My character is basically "half-t-posing". It cant really be the skeleton, because in that case skyrim would just crash altogether. So my guess is DAR and the animation packs, but I have no real clue. The character can move, jump, attack, sprint, but like I said, all without the real animation, instead just the T-pose...

If anyone has an idea where the issue might be, I'm sending prayers ?

That is almost always missing animations.

Go back to page one here. Expand patches and the spoiler under Nemesis. Follow those directions for FNIS and Nemesis and see if that fixes your issue.

I ran into this as well and made a patch in xEdit. It simply forwards the script from Redbag's Falkreath and keeps the appearance from the Valga replacer. The only problem is that for some reason it only works on a new game.

I did the FNIS/Nemesis stuff perfect multiple times. It was fine. I figured out the problem tho...

I additionally had Nibbles Animations installed because I remembered liking them very much and it hasnt been THAT long since the last update.

Well, turns out the mod is incompatible these days. I still dont quite get it, but im glad I found the culprit :D

Thanks for the help btw, appreciate it :)

That is a good approach, to toggle off animations until you find the culprit.

Glad you figured it out

I imagine that is because the instance of Valga in your save still has the old script (but I could be wrong).

I was trying to learn how to make the patch, but got pulled away.

Thanks!

I actually used this: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/52919 to make the patch. Its an xEdit script that can automate some of the more common patch types such as those involving NPC overhauls.

Weird, I'm still using Nibbles' animations. What version are you using? I might have one that would work.

For this mod, Vanilla hair remake - SMP NPCs, do we want "Vanilla hair remake SMP NPCs (real hair)" or "Vanilla hair remake SMP NPCs (wigs)"? I am guessing Real Hair.

You definitely want the 'Real Hair'. There are a few mods for NPC out there that require 'Wigs' so you might want to install that as an additional mod too.

But afaik we don't need it.

@hardcoremanuel

Nice one. I'll repack it later and add it to the guide.

A small question as you've done this: could you take a look at 'Rayya'? When you become a Thane she might not appear in Redbag's version of Falkreath. And we have then to use console commands to get her.

I took a look at Rayya and Redbag's Falkreath in xEdit and they don't conflict.  However I found this post on the Redbag's Falkreath page

Spoiler

Redbag's Falkreath doesn't edit the vanilla interiors rather it has new interior cells. You can  "coc FalkreathJarlsLonghouse" and end up in the vanilla interior. I haven't tried it but its possible Rayya will be in the vanilla interior.

Verified.  I had a save where I was thane.  As soon as I coc'd, then Rayya force greeted me.

I also found an npc in the longhose for some other mod that added someone to Falkreath.

This is probably why the tavern waitress never finds her way back in to Dead Man's Drink.

Some bandits and hunters are naked, even if their armor is equipped in their inventory. If I use the console command resurrect they usually wear the armor. Does anyone have any tips or know if I messed something up?

Also thank you for your hard work on all this Aylis. I can't begin to think how many hours of your life you've spent on this so far.

I followed the Guide exactly. All the mods are in order, but for some reason, when I undress the character I get a neck-seam. Not really a color-mismatch, but a literal crack between head and torso. I dont have any additional mods overwriting the skin texture mods. Does anybody have an idea what the origin of this issue might be?

Try going into race menu through the console and increasing the weight of the body bit by bit, you should as you go from whatever it currently is towards 100 that it slow goes away, this sort of thing usually implies something has not got morphs built for it or never had them in the body slide files.  Which if you are using the pre-built ones is a bit odd.

Try an older version of 3BAV (V's Cut). Anything past 2.07 has seams unless you convert all your outfits.

i used to have this issue, specially on the hands.

Check your bodyslides, something its overwriting something, even if it hurts, remove your build bodyslides, and reeinstall the mods that have prebuild slides so they reset to what they are at base.

@Aylis what happened to Dirt and Blood - Dynamic Visual Effects? it never gave issues or anything as far as i remember, not even with tons of changes that i did using your list as base.

Sometimes blood (and also dirt) textures arn't applied correctly. Cut off borders don't look good.

The 'succubus race' isn't seen correctly and armors don't fit the used body.
