This is my plugin list of all mods from "Creation Club" to "Weather" categories, and I haven't marked some of the ESP as ESL yet. With lightning, sex lab and patches categories there will be a bit more.

Looks close to what it was pre ae.  However with Pandora you will have 1 esp compared to 4 with fnis/nemesis. However I will also throw this out there. Install fnis, creatures and spells. I spent 3 days after adding in several animation packs with a-pose. Pandora doesn't check for missing hxl files or a version mismatch. Fnis does. Run fnis as normal. Output will be deleted, all you are interested in is fnis warnings. I can't post one since I'm on mobile. But I had over 200 warnings. Most of those was zaz and version fights. Get rid of all the warnings in fnis. Then shut it off, turn on Pandora and run it, a posing is gone.

Going through every major location i found three minor issues so far. One floating tree (Reach), one floating target (Riverwood) and one floating plant (farm at Solitude). With that many mods installed this is to be expected and i'll try to find fixes (worst case they have to be manually disabled).

On the other side everything visual works fine. Armors and weapons are varied, flora and faune are good and the NPC look fine too. If there's still a NPC with a brown face around (and that one got to be very well hidden) i'd be very surprised.

Spoiler

When it comes to armors i'll try to spread them out. I don't like the idea of them only being available to the player, unless there's a very good reason for that. I'll propably add the Illusive Infiltrator Armor and the Lustmord Vampire Armour to the mix. That depends on the available SPID options and bodyslide presets (Lustmord is tricky with those).

Anyway, it is time to start a new PC (i finally tested too many mods for that savegame 🤪)...

@deff_lv

Almost full install (a big chunk of the ESL are patches):

Still enough room for ~50 mods with ESM/ESP.

I'm on the half way right now. At the moment looks impressive!

I already have some question - Wyre Bash scream anout some plugins...(see hidden) Is it allright or I should do something?

EDIT: By the way - I tried SAM from Maxie discord. It works with AE, maybe someone didn' t know.

A question about ENB Light, I've been asking it everywhere - can I install all of them or I have to choose between, for example, magic effects low-moderate cost and magic effects high cost? I think my PC is able to handle them all, but I wonder if some of them will override each other.

Ello, stopping in to drop off a mod suggestion OBody HotSwap - CBPC presets for OBody or at least something to look at.

Not Aylis, but looking at it, the options for CBPC presets all seem to be "Lady with unreasonably big boobs and butts" (fine if that's what you like, but I believe we're trying to get a more reasonable distribution of sizes here), furthermore, I believe the recommended setup we have is still to use Faster SMP for boob physics as well as hair physics, CBPC for the rest, which means they would probably conflict with these presets, not sure how CBPC/SMP would handle both handling the same physics. It's not a bad idea of a system mind you, but we'd need the mod author to actually add many many many more CBPC presets to get to the point where we can leave only hair physics to FSMP. (not sure if KS Hairdos SMP has a CBPC version, I'd wager that's not very likely though.)

@Mindgames265

I've checked it out. Not a single one of the used presets in the guide is covered and the one that comes close is flagged as 'not likely'. So i doubt very much that the mod will ever be useful to us. Even the ones i might later add to 'Gameplay - Anatomy' are not covered.

The OA seems to prefer the presets of a "Lady with unreasonably big boobs and butts" (thanks @Kusoneko for this term) and most presets seem to go into this direction. But in my eyes this is totally unrealistic in reality.

There are three bodytypes (mesomorph, endomorph and ectomorph) and all should be represented in the game. In my configuration file for 'OBody' i tried to reflect that and, like in RL, certain groups (aka in-game races) tend to lean into one direction or the other.

And in case a SJW now throws a fit: unless you can give me undeniable facts that contradict it, don't bother commenting on the last part.

@deff_lv

This is very strange. You got main files from Bethesda in there and those should never ever have a wrong header. In other words, this should be impossible... Same for the other listed mods in there. I would had fixed such an error before they would end up in the guide or at least mentioned it somewhere (unless it is already mentioned in its description/thread).

-----------------------------------------------------

Hmm... Are you using skyrim from GOG? If so, i got no idea what to expect with that one.

In regards to SAM. Yep, i know about that one and decided against using it. That body wasn't adopted by the community and finding presets isn't that easy. Just compare the number of presets on Nexus for SAM against the ones for HIMBO.

@Simpossible_xx

Just pick the ones you like and your system can handle. For the effects i always used one or the other, never both at the same time. Also, seeing the pic, skipping 'Dragons' might be a good idea as we already have a mod for them in 'Gameplay - Magic'.

What version of Wyre Bash do you have? Since Skyrim 1130, Wyre Bash 311 or older (and its only on 312 now) will report invalid headers for any esp/esm/esl compiled with 1130 or higher Creation Kit (which includes the base game ESMs) due to the fix to ESLs Bethesda included in 1130.

However, dispite the error message, it can be ignored, although probably means those plugins won't be included in the bash patch, and you wouldn't be able to eslify those with Wrye Bash either.

There is a beta version of Wrye Bash found here that fixed a lot of my issues with it. I think it is in the second post.

Darn, i discovered a bug with the cloaks. Idolaf Battle-Born got a brown face and there is no patch to be found. Got to find a way to fix it...

Finally got 'Grass Cache' working and the next step is reworking the instructions for Dyndolod (there shouldn't be that much to change). Although i might move 'World - LOD' down there as they have to be deactivated, after the creation of the LOD, anyway. I push it ahead as it drives me nuts to see everything pop up in the distance.

Further plans are then:

Cleaning out 'Storage'. I already halved the content in there but i want it gone. 💀

Rechecking if i missed a mod in the guide that i'm using here.

Cleaning out mods that are either unneeded or redundant.

Finding and removing the last bugs.

Going 3.0. 😇

@Aylis Honestly figured the current bodies in that mod wouldn't be of any use to the guide. But as near as I can tell the author is trying to make a tool that will attach to oBody but for physics. While in it's current state might be useless in the future it might have some uses. But that's my two cents, that and a opinion might get me kicked out of a coffee shop.

The is essentially what I said, the idea is good, unfortunately the supported presets at the moment are too limited to a single body type to be worth using for now. In the future, if the mod author (or someone else) adds more *appropriate* presets to it, it may become work using.

Haven't experienced it on my end since adding the face discoloration fix mod, but on the other hand, I get an annoying but with Remiel's hair and the "Face cover" items, which idk which mod they're from. she loses her hair every time she uses one, but since it only covers the face, she looks bald instead of like hooded or something. Mildly annoying to have to tell her to trade and then confiscate those every so often cause somehow they keep reappearing in her inventory?

Oops, was I supposed to turn them off? I literally never did...

Just a heads up.

Lock down your Game Steam AppID and Backup your modded game files. Possible Skyrim SE update incoming.

Skyrim LE received an update on Sep 5. An update that updated the EXE's (Either just the launcher EXE or both - if it's just the launcher - it's not an issue.)

After FO4 it's best to be safe though. Seems Bugthesda is on a mission to ruin modding.

Locking Down Steam Game Updates

To prevent a specific Steam game from updating, you can modify the appmanifest file associated with the game’s AppID. This method is suitable for individual games, not for the entire Steam client.

Step-by-Step Instructions:

Close Steam: Ensure Steam is not running in the background.
Locate the appmanifest file: Find the appmanifest file corresponding to the game’s AppID. The file path is usually C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\appmanifest_**appid**.acf, replacing **appid** with the actual AppID of the game.
Open the file: Use a text editor like Notepad++ or a similar software to open the appmanifest file.
Modify the file: Change the following values:
StateFlag to 4
BytesToDownload to 0
UpdateResult to 0
Save the changes: Save the modified file.

Set the file to Read-Only.

Note: This method will force Steam to believe the game is fully updated and installed, allowing you to play it without updates. However, if the update downloader has already modified the game’s files, this method may not work.

Alternative Method: If you prefer not to edit the appmanifest file, you can set the game to not download automatically and then launch it via the executable file in the game’s folder. This method may not work if the update downloader has already modified the game’s files.

Remember that modifying the appmanifest file will affect only the specific game and not the entire Steam client. If you want to prevent all Steam games from updating, you may need to explore other options, such as limiting updates to specific periods of the day or disabling automatic updates altogether.

I thought the technique was to just make it read-only after you installed it and not open it and modify it first?

OTOH, for most if not all Bethesda games that I have, you only ever need to start them up from the launcher the first time (if at all) to generate the default .ini files, then every other times you go with MO2's launch an executable directly and it just worksâ„¢

For the record, my current read-only appmanifest_489830.acf for Skyrim SE looks like this and I haven't had any issues yet:

@Kusoneko That's the method I have.

I don't know whether it was just the launcher exe that got updated for LE or both since I switched to SE in April.

Just figured I'd pop a warning here since there's no guarantee that SE will only receive a launcher update  (or any update at all) - if that's all it was on LE.

Just seems Bethesda might be updating them all - and spacing them out to spread out the outrage.

making the manifest read only and admin locked is probably the best way to lock updates down, the only reason to do all the rest it looks like just to remove it from update list.

Ahh I see, if you are putting your mods directly into the game folder and not running a mod manager (you're which makes you a dumbass) it makes the button for the game on the steam library page act normal rather than blue update button.

Since some people can't read... I'll highlight a modifier.. IF... (introducing a conditional clause) on the condition or supposition that; in the event that.

Hey Dumbass,

I'm using MO2 genius. Just because your too dumb to figure out how to backup a MO2 Mod setup, does not mean everyone is.

Back up Game folder + MO2 Game Folder + MO2 Instance Folder.

And for the record: I'm  aware the only folder you need to backup is the Actual install, But I like to keep my backups complete.

Wanna be rued? 2 can play that game.

Dont bother replying, I dont visit this forum to start fights and insult people. So I wont be replying to you again.

Merely thought I'd give everyone a heads up that there may be an update incoming. No good deed goes unpunished, I guess.

I mean another reason would be if you're on Linux, as I originally was 3-4 months ago (had to switch back to Windows however for Bethesda modding unfortunately, as I was having issues, specifically following this modlist as well as my attempts at making Oblivion modding work -- hilariously, Oblivion modding worked better on Linux somehow [for a certain version of better, on Linux it would crash roughly 3-5 hours into a save no matter what, where, who or how whereas on Windows it just crashes *the second* I leave the starting dungeon], but by then this modlist was far enough along that it was actually worth attempting so, Oblivion modding will be for another time when I'm less into Skyrim, besides, I'm far more at risk of then moving to either FO4 modding or Starfield, depending on how far along Starfield is by then, which right now is not very, especially given that the usual Bethesda modders for body mods in general are sort of not all liking Starfield and thus not interested in modding it), modding sort of works (sort of because it's already not exactly the most stable game to mod even on Windows, and while sometimes running games through steam proton on Linux has been more stable than on Windows, this is not one of these cases, especially since a lot of the modding tools are made with .Net Framework, which depending on the version needed may or may not work well, or at all on Proton) with MO2 and so on, but you need to start MO2 from steam so it can run using Proton, thus making MO2 and everything it launches work as if it was on Windows.

This is all besides the point anyways and we should all return to the actual thing this thread is for: the modlist.

May I ask what is the progress regarding the Predone Bodysildes? Are they considered done and can be applied to the game via the mod managers without any problem? I've been eyeing to apply the Zeroed bodyslides but I am afraid that they might not yet be done and may cause problems. (Sorry if I sound selfish or annoying)
