Yeah i selected hardcore raiders in the FOMOD, both they and the minutemen show the "its scary for your level" icon though so think that might be cancelling itself out

 

PC is lvl 29 as i recall (if that would make a difference) and i'm playing with whatever the default difficulty is

Thanks for the report! The final confrontation with the Minutemen takes place in three locations, it's randomized.

I had a problem during the mission pest control. One of the three guys that you have to lure into the trap died outside. One of those new raiders with a brahmin with slave cages killed him. So I had to go outside to get all his stuff, but I couldn't reenter the house. I had to unlock the door via the console to continue the mission.

These slavers are new and it didn't occur to me that they might interfere in old quests like this! Thanks, I'll get it fixed.

It must be something else. There's no way OCBP could affect that.  You can test four-walking in the Cheat section of the MCM.

You know, in all the times I played Slavers, not once did the raiders resort to melee . . .

My raiders often fight using melee. It's even more interesting with this mod.

For some reason I keep getting equipped with the rope restraints from KFT . Even when I use the debug option in the console to take them off. Something just equips it back on again and so now my character has the restraints and looks pregnant? I’m so confused. Any help would be appreciated, I’m new to modding fallout 4. (If anything it all seemed to start after the bomb quest after big and lil bomb say they’ll put a milking outfit on me) 😭😭

Raiders going melee is likely due to them having the wrong ammo, at least from my experience. Can be affected if you use certain ammo mods.

 

I use Horizon which switches some ammo types around. The radium rifle that the Bombs and Murphy use are .30 calibre (different from the vanilla radium rifle). I usually just add them to the Raiders inventory. Should fix it for the whole playthrough

The last time I did the Whore quest, I was attacked by a dog during the trip and Grisle didn't defend me.

If Grisle shares a faction with me, he should attack my enemies, right? But his flag is set to "Helps nobody". Is that intended?

Uninstall KFT, load your save and save. Reinstall KFT if you wish.

Also can use console:

player.showinventory

scroll through item dump for the culprit & note FormID#

then:

player.removeitem FormID# 1 (or whatever quantity of the KFT restraint you have)

use JB's Cheat in MCM to remove all KFT restraints

 

This however will reoccur, whatever the user has in their lineup is conflicting script-wise, or script lag.

If you run FO4edit it's possible their weapons are being overwritten by another mod.

No. Only "Hardcore Raiders.esl" modifies the raiders' weapons. But even the "Hardcore Raiders.esl" not change the behavior of the raiders.

JB. 

I've checked the quests a few more times with the latest update. Wonderful! Everything is working fine now! Declan is behaving well now. I liked the applied solution. Now nothing prevents me with progressing through the quests!

 

Almost nothing... A problem in a porn studio can still ruin the game of this mod. That's what I mean:

the issue is what I have all the requirements installed, most recent version of the patch eap, I have aaf, themes and animations, though i am missing some of the soft requirements.

Just curious, do you run Vortex as a Mod Manager?

usage report 269E upgraded to 289f after completion

 

rolled save back to test and the Declan fix works

 

2 issues post completion (true ending) tested on both E and F versions and same results

 

1 - somehow there are raiders in the Queens Nest when i go in, but i do see the key and cure (i died to fast to actually grab them)

 

2 - Dr Duff (Scientist quest) post CS gives the quest fine and can go collect the small sample, but she will not take the sample from me.

OK, so here is how I see it.

A lot of people are having issues with Vortex, in not knowing how to confirm that the mods are installed properly, and the plugins are actually enabled.

 

I attempted to use Vortex several years ago, and found it's interface was clunky, and not too intuitive.

Several times I would install a mod, only to find it wasn't completely enabled, or even placed appropriately priority-wise.

So I reverted back to MO2, where things made sense (at least to me), and ended up with much better results.

 

No insult or disrespect intended (Tannin did play a key role in both Mod Organizers development), but how certain are you that all prerequisites for AAF and Slavers are installed with the proper load order and priority?

 

I have seen all sorts of posts from Vortex users, showing what they had sworn was installed actually wasn't.

I'm not saying MO2 is a better mod organizer/manager just that it has a much higher learning curve.

 

Just check through your line-up and see if everything required is actually installed properly.
