CS has 4 endings

 

1 - death ending = you die, either roll back to a earlier save and choose a different ending or start a new character.

 

2 - stay a slave forever = you will never be free (or get another ending except possibly death ending).  you can play the repeatable missions, and do some vanilla

      gameplay within a timer limitation. get the "Free Roaming" mission (sorry i do not remember the technical name offhand) by asking Lindstrom where you get to

      roam the Commonwealth for a time and have to bring back a certain amount of caps.  iirc you will have to bring the caps to Jared, and the amount of caps and

      time allowed roaming are both adjustable in the CS MCM.

 

3 - bad ending = you earn freedom and get released outside Vault 111, slavery ring still exists and none of the main characters from CS die.

 

4 - true ending = you earn freedom and you help take down the slavery ring.  most CS main characters die, you can spare 1, and a couple do live on.  Whore House

      may continue to operate under new(ish) managment.

iirc Slavers Jet does 2 things besides allowing you to be addicted to Jet type chems.  it is not the same as normal jet, and it does have an animation 

when you use it.

 

1 - makes you a Junkie and gives you different options, needs, and choices in some quests.

2 - counts as vanilla survival food (does not work as food for all survival mods).

Any one experienced thig bug before ? i'm really clueless, nothing in the log and if it was a plugin edit, the bug should happen in any save.

@JB.
The Nervous & Depressed poses cause the 3rd person drink animation to T-pose. Setting it to Normal makes it work fine. Dunno if it's easily fixable... not my wheelhouse. ;)

I don't think it's easily fixable, not without editing the animgraph or something complicated like that. For now, just don't drink in 3rd person when playing CS ?.

If you really want to drink in 3rd person type this in console:
 

cf "actor.ChangeAnimArchetype" ""  
cf "actor.ChangeAnimArchetype" "6B508"

or use CAA.

But, just keep this in mind. That save is screwed.  There is no way that quest will ever get the scripts back. Future tests should be from a new save. 

 

I remember that some users had the same problem and they solved it by uninstalling Violate. But you have to test it again with another save. 

I had this issue as well and fixed it by enabling "SexAttributes". I found this weird as I know it's only a soft requirement but did it out of curiosity. I can't run CS without SA being active as I have exactly the same issue. SQV on the _CS_Thorns quest returns no script variables. I'm not an expert modder but can hold my own which is why I rarely post.

Having said that, with SA active, CS tuns fault-free on my machine. Great mod by the way JB. Excellent work!

Great, I didn't know that was the cause of the bug. In my case, the MCM of Slavers you can put on the normal idle. If it's not in miscellaneous it's in cheats section.

Are you still locked out from some vanilla quests if you do this or does everything unlock and you just have this limitation?

hmm... so whats with the pet collar orgasm thingy? when i select "dont ask to cum", my character become more rebellious, but when i select "please let me cum", i got chastised by the collar for asking... so selecting "dont ask to cum" logically, should be the right choice.. so why it make your character more rebellious? what am i missing here?

Nah, i like the animArchType changes, they add more depth to the story. If it only concerns the 3rd_P drinking anim, we can live without it.

PS

I didn't notice the MCM setting. So the solution was already there ?‍?.

not sure, so if you actually do try this route please let us know if you run into vanilla quests/stuff you cannot do.

 

the only vanilla stuff it should have any kind of issue with is vanilla quests/stuff use Jared, Gristle, Dwayne, and Dr. Duff possibly.

 

various radiant quests can send you to kill Jared in Corvega.  probably have to fail these.

When Freedom Calls requires you to help Preston Garvey which usually requires you to kill Gristle, but iirc that is fixed but it may not work right if you are still a slave.

for Dwayne and Dr. Duff i do not know of anything offhand that it would mess up, but still it is possible.

 

so as far as i can tell (as i have not actually done this) by staying a slave you might have some vanilla stuff not work right, but should (probably) be able to actually

complete the most (if not quite all) of the vanilla commonwealth content.

 

as for the vanilla DLCs you should be able to do them, but with the understanding that travel time will (probably) severely limit how much you can do per visit.

 

edit

be careful with followers as they will probably not work right with you still being a slave, mostly due to them attacking the raiders.

yeah, i would be intrested to see if the game still work when you are enslaved with this mod... according to the mod page, vanilla quest shouldnt work when you are enslaved as most npc will ignore your character.. and the npc pretty much told you to "forget about finding your son" at the start of the mod...

 

as fun as this mod is, i doubt it'll remain fun if you cant do anything else in the game.

If you choose freedom, bad end or true ending, the game goes back to normal and you can do all the vanilla/dlc quests.

Asking for permission leads to two scenarios: either you are given permission or you are denied.

To add to JB.'s response,
Don't ask is the Rebellious route.
Asking, is the Submissive route.

Each affecting Sex Attributes accordingly.

 

So it depends on how you're role playing the run, as a rebel or a submissive slave. Or maybe you start as a rebel and turn submissive... or the other way around.

C'mon, JB. It's slightly more complicated than that. Players will probably not get the outcome that they ask for, but sometimes you pick the right option and get exactly what you ask for. There doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason to it. I tested the collar a lot spread over three long duration (50+ jobs required to finish the mod) plays.

 

Sometimes you ask to orgasm and there are like four options; sometimes you ask and there are like seven. Picking the same options doesn't get you the same results, so it's probability based, making it impossible to game. When I was trying to see if it was gamified, I'd try to ask nicely and get denied. I'd try a response where I call the collar "master" and get denied. I'd pick an option where my character is demanding to orgasm, and it'd work, sometimes. Eventually I just gave up and turned off that feature because it interfered with features from Sex Attributes.

 

By the way, JB: In my current run (job 78), I have the collar orgasm blocking turned off. Yet, whenever any NPC has sex near my character (typically from Autonomy), the collar is forcing my character to "swallow the cum". My character isn't in the scene, and I have the collar stuff turned off.

Might be wrong but think thats meant to be the point of it, whether you ask nice or not the decision/outcome isn't yours, but down to your customer/master which is meant to re-enforce how powerless you are in this situation

I'm playing this mod again and I take into account the previous reports. 

 

-There is indeed a bug in Pet Walk. Jared doesn't get the caps you collected and he himself terminates the quest. I corrected it: he takes the caps, sets a timer, and the quest ends when you report back to Lindstrom. 

 

-I am now in DC. I plan to walk back and not obey Gristle, because I have it on note that he doesn't punish that, when he should. 

 

Hmmm, ever since Jarnin told me about the slaves wearing the same clothes I can't help but notice. I'm going to put a change in them. 

 

Anyway, I have a couple of days off and I'm going to do what I can. Simple stuff. The "swallowing cum" bug without being involved in the scene has an easy fix, thanks.

Amazing mod! But i have some texture issues in the whore house. Some wall seen to missing. How can i fix it?

Could I suggest setting the preferred pathing (select tri & hit P) around the brothel & studio? It will solve the stupid pathing of the NPC's.

Don't forge to finalize each of the 4 cells.

But I figured out a way around it so it's all good. I was just pointing out using the beard slot  mhk headpiece and you had devious devices. If you had the nipple peircings. You couldn't put it on until you get them removed.

 

Sure, it was just an example. And since RobCo Patcher configuration is just plain text files, anyone can edit the slot number to whatever else they want instead without needing to make a new plugin and fiddle with their load order.

 

I agree the beard slot is problematic, but then again so is just about every slot for one reason or another. Also, you can use a similar configuration to move DD's nipplewear to a different slot if you prefer.
