Ok 1.8.2 worked great loaded my save before and it loaded the harvester quest automatically. Everything is working perfectly for me. Went through the quest really enjoyed it. This was fun ride. Anyway one thing

 

If you keep the addiction. most things works great afterwards. When she gets her craving she would use it and the animations play. But when you manually do it the drug use animations does not. I also have not find any slavers jet anywhere in containers yet. Except for our local chem dealer at dumlin. And Carla had one aswell so I think the traders might be fine. I'm just worried he might die my world is full of mobs that might oneshot him. I was thinking maby you can add some to medium size at the whore house. Each time you go to collect your earnings he might give you some.

 

Also you mentioned you don't know what to do with amputees with no arms during the bad ending. Why not just let the person kick the farmer to death. I assume that is where the problem lies. If you play with harassment it has a perfect animation for this. When someone slap you on the ass you can kick em. So they will go sit just like the farmer and then you kick em and they go flying. I think something similar might work for you.

 

Anyway just wanted to say man this journey was a blast looking for your next twisted adventure. Off to nukaride we go.

 

Edit: Ok seems that normal traders have one slavers jet now and then. Been playing for a few hours now after the ending yeah can now clearly say that there is none in any containers around the world. (so far)

Adding to what Osculim mentioned about kicking animation, there is a very underused stomp animation for the Killcam ( I found out about it from this Mod ). I have no idea how hard it would be to implement, but maybe there could be a dialogue option that triggers the animation and kills the farmer.

I noticed a problem im my character (who is not addicted). As a survival game my character was extremely exhausted so I used the Slavers Jet because it takes a lot of the fatigue out of you. But now my character is in that junkie pose all the time xD

 

Since you made it to the end, you'll understand that I can't let the original Gristle show up in Concord when you rescue Preston. My solution is the most crappy thing.

 

It is a script that will be fired only if you did the True Ending. The script puts a wig on Gristle and renames him Freddy. Right now the name "Freddy" doesn't work right and still reads "Gristle" but I'll see how to fix it. The wig at least works. ?

yeah I have noticed the whole drug pose thing. I had a character that havent even done cs use one she got at dunlim diner. She was also stuck in that pose. My slave girl is now at nuka world. None of the vendors there have any slavers jet so that might be a problem once you become the overboss bitch. You will have to constantly travel back to the commonwealth.

 

Edit: Ok finally after hours of playing after the quest found one slavers jet in a trashcan. So it is out there but extremely rare

@JB. Can also confirm about the Slavers Jet pose, however I assumed that was intended as my character was already a junkie. On the other topic I would personally say that is working as intended, my personal reasoning is that SJet is a purely Lexington Raiders made chem for use in their Whore House, any chem you find on a different vendor I assume someone killed a raider and sold the Jet to them which they then sell to you.

It also make sense if you are the Overbitch, you would need to make sure you have a big supply on hand to function "normally", otherwise you would need to ask for permission to travel and get your fix/hit. It works even better if you set the scooter permit time low and you have "Easy Prey" from the mod Provocative Perks, hoping you don't black out and wake up in a different location or in the "Bound in Public" event.

Better hope you can make it back in time so the Overboss does not punish you for being late.

I like your way of thinking about it but the world drop really need an increase. Believe me I use the trash respawn mod that increases trash loot and respawn things like trashcans, mailboxes etc and it adds a ton of stuff the longer you leave it and to get one slavers jet after hours of playing with the mod installed. I don't want to know how long its going to take without it installed you will never find one in the world. I don't have a problem with the traders tho. The amount they have is usually one or two which is perfect that makes sense to me. Luckily my slave was like lvl221 when I finally finished this morning. I stocked up on it beforehand so I have about 80 or something.

Fair enough, everyone should be able to play in the way that suits them and since I have not had a chance yet to experience the ending I have not been able to see the loot frequency. I would personally enjoy the low loot rates as a form of punishment for escaping/shutting down the raider version whore house. Maybe there could be an mcm option to help increase spawn rates for people who want it? No idea how easy that is to do, but Better Locational damage does something similar with its added items. It would also be very easy to increase the amount Wolfgang sells as a temporary work around (would still need to buy it though so that does not really help)

I too now understand why it is so rare to find it. 

 

I copied and pasted the script from Real Handcuffs that corresponds to the handcuff keys. The keys are very rare (and now the slavers jet lol). 

 

I changed the script but I'll have to test it today before I upload a new update.  It should now be as usual to find them as a normal Jet. And I'll give you the command to run the script again, so you don't have to do The Correctional again.

 

I want to add other fixes like not getting addicted idle if you are not addicted and some other little things.

No I agree with you on the loot frequency. The rest is perfect. Traders should not have a ton of it 1 maby 2 as it is now is great. Sometimes even nothing which is fine. There are a few chem vendors traveling aswell. For some reason chem vendors never have any. What would be cool imo is chem vendors would sell them but since its so rare the prices should be extremely inflated everywhere. 

 

edit: Maby this would fit more at the NK forum but I have a small request can you add the tattoo set you get at the end of CS to music's list at some point. I have a feeling it will be removed probably by NK at some point

I finished the "good ending".  Very well done! Thank you for your efforts.  I'm curious what interactions there will be going forward, especially with Nuka Ride.  I can't see Corvega and Lexington being the same.  And Diamond City?

There is overlap but not a lot you will get references to your slave days in NR.

Some of the influence I refer to is unwritten ... just how I may change the way I roleplay the character.  For instance, my interaction with the Minutemen will be affected.  But I am looking forward to the Nuka Ride references!

It is the same set that in Nuka Ride is called "Nisha Set", which is obtained by talking to Nisha after obtaining the scooter. I've been too lazy to look for a new tattoo and I decided to use the most badass tattoo from NR.

I have thought of something to add in the next update, which would be to work in the Whore House on a voluntary basis as long as Medium Sized is running it.

I'll have to put more clients there. ?

Duh I just got it now on my slave girl. I didn't even notice lol. And ye that be great to work in the whore house. I think some characters would be to messed up to go to NK and working in the whorehouse now and then would be great idea for such characters.

Thank you. Funnily enough, I don't think my character is interested in going to Nuka World to be an actress. I feel like she really wants to walk the path of a true hero. I feel like this mod, more than justifying going to Nuka World to be an actress, ends up justifying Nora's vanilla route. ?

 

I did this mod to justify being a porn star but it "backfired".

To be honest the mod opens up alot of roleplaying paths. I have one slave that will become a crazy vampire after I am done with CS. I think that will be really cool path.

We're going to need a buffout log to find the culprit. But my first piece of advice is to make sure my mod has the highest possible priority.

 

As for that specific moment, while I don't think it's causal for a CTD, it would be nice to have installed "Slave 100 poses" from Nexus since I use a small asset from that mod.

@JB.So I think I have finally found the conflict which was causing the Fighter and Pit combat loss scenes to fail, I believe its Horizons alternate death mode. You may want to include this on your front page. 

 

With Horizons alternate death mode ("HAD" from now on) is active and you die from any cause, what normally happens is HAD will teleport the player to the last safe settlement or location (Sanctuary or outside Vault 111 being the most common locations). That means if I lose the combat in the cage with the other slave HAD takes over the loss event and teleports me out before Slavers event can fire and advance the quest stage/scene (still need to do more testing)

 

When HAD is turned off, it seems to stop ALL alternate death outcomes, so when I fight the slave in the cage, what happens now is I just die. Slavers does not get a chance to proceed the quest stage/scene and the game reloads the last save ( The normal outcome for death in vanilla fallout )

 

In conclusion if Horizon is installed, then HAD needs to be turned off or else it will completely break certain quests and events. This also means that those quests can only be won through combat or else you die and have to reload.

 

It is possible to stop combat using console commands ( tcai ) and then use commands to set the stage as if you had lost. (which is what I did for "The Pit" super mutant loss amputation event) The quest should play as normal afterwards.

 

TLDR: Horizon has a very big conflict with Slavers and other mods that add death alternatives. ( e.g Violate etc. )

Horizon changes so many things that its not just the death thing that might cause issues. The changes in how food and things work screws up the whore house when you need to bring food to a customer for instance aswell. And some area changes like corvega will also cause issues since in horizon you can take it over and build there. As for violate its no problem just turning off teleport and you are sorted.

  • Change of plans. Medium Sized is not going to offer you to co-own the Whore House, but will offer you to work there when you want/are passing through, and everything you earn will be for your pockets. So now you can work as a prostitute whenever you want. 
  • Creating this new quest was surprisingly simple. I just copied the original Whore House quest, but with slightly changed dialogues.
  • Snoopy the dog returns to the Whore House with the True Ending, now he will walk all over the bar.
  • Unfortunately you need to load a save before finishing "The Hero" ?
  • If you are not Junkie, consuming Slavers Jet will not force you into a nervous idle. 
  • Re made the script to put the Slaves Jet in vendor containers and medical containers (like jet). To run the script (if you already won The Correctional) just type CQF _CS_Main UpdateLeveledLists
  • With the True Ending, the music in the Whore House changes to a slightly more cheerful one. 
  • I originally set 4 male customers for the Whore House, with the True Ending (version 1.8.0). I increased to 6 men and 2 women. 
  • Ex-slaves will no longer have the nervous idle after winning the True Ending.
  • The Whore House will have more comfortable beds for its workers.
  • The Whore Room disappears and becomes a room for a weapon workbench.

Yeah Fortunately JB mad a patch a while back for 1.0.9 which still worked for most of the 1.7 test, I also made my own patch to cover anything that was missed. My mod list is built around Horizon as the core mod and spent a long time just trying to get everything working and resolving its conflicts.

 

However I have no idea what Horizon does exactly but with HAD it is either "ON" with no options for customization or "OFF" which blocks any other mod from taking over. I am going to ask over in the Horizon discord for help and see if they have a fix there. I have tried every setting available in other mods but nothing works for me.

 

(In regards to violate, if I use its essential player knockout option then if HAD is on, HAD will teleport me way from the combat location before violate can start its scene, and if HAD is off then my character just dies even if I have "Player is essential" on)

 

Quick report: The Runaway Slave Quest - Horizon conflict

During the slave escape quest where General Becker asks you to cook steaks for his men, Horizon changed the recipe (FormID 4695a Fallout4.esm) to Marinated Flank Steak, the recipe requires 1 salt, 1 corn, 4 Brahmin meat, 1 Hubflower (7 salt, 7 corn, 28 meat, 7 flower total). It also requires a special Horizon Survival skill of 30.   • Added Quest "The Harvestress".
  • You can load a save before finishing "The Correctional", to start "The Harvestress", but if you have a save after finishing it, it doesn't matter. In this new version Dwayne hands you something before he leaves but it really just serves as context to the story. Nothing happens if you don't obtain it.
  • The Medium Sized dialogue camera also changed because the vanilla cam is dizzying.
  • I changed a bit of dialogue at the end of The Correctional. Medium Sized said that all the slaves were synths. I've changed that and no, no slave is a synth.
  • I'm interested in opinions, especially if I forgot someone important to beat him to the ground. Declan (the Whore House guard) comes to mind right now.
  • Finishing "The Harvetress" will finally finish "The Hero" the way I always wanted. It's the reason why I always considered the previous ending to be "bad" because it didn't do justice to the name "The Hero".

  • It occurred to me at the end to add a small quest to give a decent ending to one of my favorite characters such as Medium Size Bomb. The bot is going to manage the Whore House with the True Ending, obviously with better clients (minutemen) and with fairer treatment for the ex-slaves, and he will share his profits with you, you will have to go and collect it once a day if you want.
  • Speaking of the bad ending, I still haven't fixed the "kill the farmer if you have both arms amputated" thing. I'll think of something.
  • Updated the Quests and Stages list in Mega.

I had an issue there as well.  The dialogue bug finally showed up again, though there was no CTD.  It's only the second time in the playthrough.  I removed the mods, I had added, as they were pretty minor and I'm not sure if that's fixed it or not or if it baked the problem into the save,  The Two mods were: Sofa Surfer - Sleeping on Couches and STEALTH AND DETECTION SYSTEM
