Commonwealth Slavers

Regarding my visual issues:

  • I verified my files in Steam and loaded my last save. No change.
  • I re-ran LOOT.
    • I had Commonwealth Slavers at the bottom of my load order. LOOT moved it back up the list.
    • I left it, loaded my last save, and the Whore House was fixed.
    • I checked Vault 111 and DC Security: still missing walls.
  • I went into FO4Edit and applied a filter to find conflicts.
  • Universal Working Bathroom Fixtures was conflicting in DC Security and Vault 111.
  • I removed UWBF.
  • I deleted my old patch and rebuilt it.
    • I loaded up my last save in the Whore House and... Fixed!
    • I loaded up a save in DC Security and... Fixed!
    • I loaded up a save in Vault 111 and... Fixed!

So, the issue was with Universal Working Bathroom Fixtures. I guess I don't need to replace every toilet, sink, and shower throughout the entire commonwealth after all. Thanks everybody for all of your suggestions and comments; they actually helped me to rule some stuff out, look up some tutorials, and learn how to better solve my own problems!

Just use cwss it makes some sinks and things usable and it does not cause issues if you still want something like that.

i have a problem, after i finish "the pit" i go to bed. but the quest din't end after talking to linstrom. ich finsh it with the console. but after all wenn i start a new quest i can't talk to the guy at the door, so i can't go out. can anyone help?

Write this and show me what do you get:

I did not understand what you wanted to write with "ich finsh"

At the moment everything seems to be fine. What does Lindstrom tell you if you talk to him?

In my new version you can no longer refuse Gristle the first time he proposes to get Dwayne's folders/files. 

 

He refused to help him the first time and therefore condemned himself to be a slave forever. Gristle warns you two more times that you will be a slave forever if you don't help him and still he chose the option of being a slave forever and now he wonders why he is being a slave forever. It's because of things like these that sometimes make me want to write dialogue in all caps.

Never gotten that option.

There is a conflict/problem with the face of one of my characters (I presume Murphy). You're not playing with another race?

And finally a conflict/problem with the cell (I presume from the outside of the Vault). My edit is minimal, but it doesn't seem to go very well with your mod list.

My suggestion is to uninstall everything and install everything little by little until you find the culprit.

I was afraid you'd say that lol. Back to my drawing board. I have NO IDEA what is adding another race, but I am sure I don't use half of what I have installed minus the weapon mods. Thanks for taking a look!

The first -and only time- he offers you a way out of slavery is when you first go to DC. Specifically when he leans over a house and has a conversation before going to the security office.

Another easy option is to gradually disable -like five- mods that you THINK might be interfering.

 

My recommendation is not to use weapon mods (yet) because in my mod you won't be able to use these until you reach the ending.

Found out what it was.

first time I was in DC I could not talk to him while he was leaning over the house...
sooooo I used the console command that skipped that dialoge.

loaded my old save and he gave me the mission now. :)

UWBF includes pre-computed visibility (previs) for the locations it modifies, so any mod which modifies things in those same locations in previs-altering ways will potentially revert the previs timestamp on the location record. You can try switching it around so that UWBF's plugin is after CS's in your load order, not sure if that will help. Worst case, someone would need to make a patch by loading both plugins together in the CK and creating new previs which takes both of their edits into account.

Hello @JB., i have a bug doing "The Truce" a second time, when i returned to the whore house, lindstron give me the quests options instead of finishing the quest.

 

Hey. Jugue la version 1.6.3 desde el inicio hasta el final de la primera parte, sin ningun problema. Hice la primera quest de buscar el arma la termine sin problemas, pero como mi personaje andaba demasiado insomnio decidi probar hacer "The truce" una vez para ver si lograba conseguir una cama para dormir por mas de 5 horas, igual falle no la encontre :(... pero bueno al regresar y entrar a la whore house y luego de la inspeccion de declan, lindstron no termina la mision, lanzandome los dialogos para hacer mas misiones y la mision no termina, dejando a murphy dentro de la casa, probe tomando una mision para ver si concluia the truce y en efecto asi fue, pero cuando termine la otra mision, otra vez lindstron no la concluia y me volvio a lanzar los mensajes de misiones. No se si sera un bug, en todo caso hasta ese punto todo a funcionado bien.

THE SCAVER (Repeatable):

  • The stage where the minutemen spawn and the Bomb brothers are supposed to kill them? The minutemen are splitting up, and one is apparently getting far enough away (or hiding) so that the Bomb brothers stop pursuit and return to Jared. Fuckmeat is getting stuck on all fours. Well, all threes.
    • I reloaded a previous save and ran through this part again. Same thing happened. The minutemen split up, the bomb brothers chase them, but one gets far enough away that the Bomb bros aren't chasing and killing him.
    • On the third try, I used tfc command and found the hiding minuteman. I pulled him to Fuckmeat using the "moveto player" command, and the Bomb bros killed him.

MISC:

  • Since Fuckmeat is a junkie, beast-loving whacko, I installed this mod for fun. The moving animation is pretty janky at normal speed, but doesn't look terrible at walking speed. I think I like the idea of a crazed junkie beast crawling around (and being stealthy at the same time).

I tried moving UWBF below CS, but nothing changed when I reloaded the effected locations. I ended up removing it. Like I said, I don't really need working fixtures in every ruined house and location throughout the commonwealth. As long as I have a few in select places (the whore house, the apartment at Nuka World), I'll be all good.

  • While writing the ending I noticed that the cheat mode doesn't ask if you are the vanilla character or not. Without this option, the mod treats you as if you were not the vanilla character. It is not a big thing.
  • Fixed a bug in "The Pit" if you lost to the super mutant and did not have the Amputator installed. Lindstrom couldn't give you the quest for finished. Unfortunately, a save is required before starting The Pit. It's a bug that affects those who play without the amputation mod.
  • All three Minutemen will now attack BigBomb and should not run away during The Scaver. If for some reason they run away (perhaps due to a difference in level), they will return to the fighting point after calming down.
  • I'm still writing the final mission. Is a huge beast. I think it's the most complex quest I've ever done. I have no idea when I'll have it ready. But boy do I have fun with this shit.

soo the mcm menu ... " block castration event : off" when its offit does mean that its not block, right? cuz in 1.0.9 my hair would get shave only when it was ON.

Inicie esta quest normalmente. Lamento la tardanza, debo mecionar Jb que tuve que recrear el escenario de nuevo, porque se me sobreescribio el save con otro, en el anterior cuando me ocurrio este, complete la quest de perder el brazo y luego inicie the truce con lindstrom. En este save la quest de escapar aparecio pero no la continue decidi regresar a la whore house y luego pedi hace the truche y el problema sigue. El stage es como tu dijiste 200.

Y no he utilizado consolas para moverme dentro del mod. Espero te sea util.
