I don't think it's necessarily the faction (first few successes were with bandits, later, bandits (even the ones I'd used before) didn't work), as I've tried with both 0 and 100%, faction clicked on or off. Tried turning the other events up to 100 too. Tried on Bandits, Vampires, Thalmor. Additionally, it's not just that the end isn't firing - one round of sex occurs, then I stand up, and combat resumes five seconds later. No one waiting their turn, etc.

Just couple of things, as already stated by others, its a little odd to be spoken to by a bear and have it rob me. It's also strange when the Inn after rape effect kicks in and I find myself at the other side of the map. Surely the nearest inn would be more appropriate. I actually once found myself dumped under water in Morthal after being raped in Bleak Falls Barrow by a drauger. Ho hum. Right, back to Skyrim!

No one waiting their turn, etc. Hmm then you might want to provide a papyrus log of when it happens so Goubo can take a look and hopefully track down any bugs.

I was also pleased to see that you are going to attempt to get some controller support as that's my main means of playing Skyrim for the time being. It can be a tad annoying to have to pause, pull out my controller, mash the buttons and then plug it back in. I wish you luck in this endevour.

Is the problem perhaps the factional event? Speaking of which, the nearest Inn seems a little weird. Robber's Gorge - I wind up in Dragon Bridge. Makes sense. Just east of Broken Fang Cave/west of Sleeping Tree Camp - I wind up in... Ivarstead? Err.... okay? Outside Ustengrav - I wind up in... Solstheim, at the Retching Netch. WTF? Might just be easier to dump the player in the main Inn for the particular Hold (as I would imagine there's something in the API to allow that, at least that's more reliable). This is WIP, radiant quest is a powerful tool but when it comes to check distances especially if you are in an interior it's a nightmare, believe me I tried a lot of things. So for now an Inn in simply chosen randomly. But maybe I'm missing something obvious, there is very few documentation for this. I tried uninstalling Defeat to to make a clean save and see if the fixes things but I ran acroos another problem. The way I make clean saves is uninstalling the mod, load, and wait untill the menu of that mod is removed from the MCM. Defeat menu however is never removed. To my experience that is a very good sign of something is broken. I also had the "$" sign infron of many notifications and menu option in defeat. Dont know if that info is any help What $ lines in particular? I believe DA was brought up before and Goubo said he wanted to do his own thing if memory serves. I can't compile scripts when I try to use DA's functions, I guess it would be entierly possible for me to trigger DA events if I could compile, seems that there is a problem with interesting NPCs scripts, which I don't have, I'll try again downloading this file.

I ask because certain animations just don't fit right in with Defeat IMHO. If it only took those from the aggressive animations list then people could customize that list to use any of the animations they want and uncheck the ones they don't want. I just think IF this is possible that would allow for a lot of user customization and help make the mod better as a whole for everyone. Of course it might not be possible or might not be easy but thought I would bring it up.
shinji72 Posted May 2, 2014 Posted May 2, 2014 So, been doing some testing of "Defeat" and "Death Alternative - Your Money or Your Life" combo, seems lots of things happening all at once. Of which, they most always break apart all at once. Have you considered just adding full compatibility DA-YMoYL, similar to how Prison Overhaul has built-in compatibility to da ymoyl? DA is a very stable, fully developed alternate-death mod. The maturity, stability, full-features may save you a lot of trouble with post-events. SL_Submit should just do the same... as the alternate death routine is not working so well there. Anyway, been trying to get both working, "Defeat" and "Death Alternative - Your Money or Your Life" with many different settings and results are 'not great'. One possibility or suggestion, minimum health.jpg, have this extend well below zero health, (below zero health defeat stops working) as once below zero health the hostiles just kill you, always triggering da ymoyl, with no defeat event. Any papyrus lag simply means defeat usually never triggers as you are usually in DA territory by the time your scripts activate.. . Or, just have 'any hit' taken below the health 'threshold' of zero health trigger defeat event without the 'resist move' routine; then if pc does not manage an escape from da ymoyl and defeat abuse, they black out. Thanks for all the hard work, definitely a must-have-mod you've created. edit, another idea: add a separate Defeat Post-Assault Quest Plugin for DA-YMoYL, for those interested in alternate-death, but with a SL flavor. I too i'm interest in the subject of SD+/DA combo working with defeat. Why don't do the usual way. Setting an higher defeat threshold. I got my chance of rape from 50% health to 15%. This way, hopefully, Sd+/Da and Defeat will trigger at different moments

I'm I supposed to escape the dungeon and go back i'm to have him reagro again? Would be better to have the aggressor reagro after a short while? And became hostile again if I strike them? actually now they let themselves be killed without reaction

It seems that my games recognizes wolves as guards, because if I check the "Morality" in player as victim, wolves can't rape me... So if it's happening to you, try doing the same I did Just unched the morality on Player as Victim

And became hostile again if I strike them? actually now they let themselves be killed without reaction Yeah I agree perhaps doing what Submit does after you get free of the ropes binding you could be done with Defeat. Now I don't know exactly how Dkatryl does it but basically you have a small window like 60 seconds after you get free to escape before the agro kicks back in and the NPC's will attack you again. Doing the same for Defeat I think would be idle, I believe. Put the enemies back into sandbox mod but with a calm effect. Once a event is trigger or you get up from the sitting position it starts a count down. You have 60 seconds till the calm effect wears off and they attack again. I think this would be a better way to handle it for a few reasons. To avoid some of the bugs currently happening and it adds more options for post defeat events. Such as kept as a slave by the bandits etc.

This way, hopefully, Sd+/Da and Defeat will trigger at different moments I do like the bleedout bar on DA, it is a nice way to handle almost getting killed, giving some time after going down to bleedout. While still making sure the PC is unlikely to die.

Yeah Dkatryl ran into that on Submit too, some of the animals register for some odd reason as highly moral. Dkatryl found some way around that with Submit but I forget exactly what he did now, but yes that is a Skyrim issue sadly. Also you're welcome.

I don't know why, I think I will delete all files, one by one, re-save my game, and reinstall the mod.

I checked out for hotkey options for the "<-- -->" movement arrow thing required to fill the bar to get up, so If I use my controller I just can't get up, even If I disconect te controller in the moment,If I do that not even the A , D, keys are recognised. D:!!!
