Ok, having some trouble swith this, it was fine on my last computer

 

1) Sometims when an animation is initiated I will be telported into the sky, get a loading screen, and then the scene will take place with my character stuck in a standing pose.

 

2) creatures dont always strip (like the giant) or do their animation. Like the giant will e scratching his back with his nonexistant club.

 

3) After the scene ends, my character will sit on the ground, and be unable to move at all.

Sounds like a mod conflict with Submit, as I had the issue when I had submit active as well. For you, it could be another mod that changes the creatures and SL Nude Creatures.

Your mod is crashing my game and I can't delete it.

I'll try to stay polite but my patience is over now.

 

Whenever I'm being defeated my character either flees in fear into a corner and can't be controlled any more at all. Or I'm being slain into the bleedout mode but my character will exit it immediately so I can attack more but not being killed. Worst thing is: Sometimes the camera would turn around when I press the button for walking right so my whole screen turns around and my character is walking on his head.

I'm now tired of this shit since this problem is already existent for months and all reports here in the forums as well as things i tried to solve it didn't work at all. So I tried to deinstall the mod pressing the deactivate option in the MCM menu and disabling the esp. But when entering the game and going into the MCM the defeat MCM is still existent resulting in a CTD after a few seconds. So I can't use the MCM for any mod anymore which is really annoying. I can't even figure out if it's your mod that causes the problems or the Death Alternative because of this shit.

Even worse: I can't play anymore for any longer time than a few minutes before the game crashes. I'll have to abadon all saves which had Defeat activated.

So are you seriously telling me I can't play the game anymore? Is that what you call a user friendly mod? Or am I doing something wrong?

The best advice i could offer get rid of that damn Death Alternative it cause me nothing but problems, to each there own but i hate that mod, but i can tell you on my end Defeat is working great without it.

How my fem character can rape other female/male npc with strap on? And how to make other female characters rape my hero with strap on?

 

In sexlab there is a setting for females to use strapons.

Uninstall the mod as well. You turned it off in the MCM, but just unchecking a ESP is not the same as removing it. Use MO or NMM which ever you used to install it to uninstall the mod completely.

 

Keep in mind this mod is in beta meaning it has bugs, this is the first version that works with DA but it is a bit buggy right now. Defeat works perfectly fine for me all by it's self. It has had some crashes and other issues when working with DA though.

 

Also did you read the first post? This was clearly stated at the very top of the post.

So no this isn't a easy plug and play mod, it is still being worked on and it is not yet considered ready for bug free release.

Hi, i have a problem with defeat on a new game install, with all mods up to date. The player as aggressor side works fine, but the player as victim has constant CTDs after reaching the DA bleedout. Without defeat victim my game is rock solid. I searched the forum but did not find a solution for this. Here is the last bit of the log:

I will say read the post I just posted above this. Defeat and DA is still not working perfectly, this is the first version of the mod designed to work with DA and it still has some bugs that need to be worked out.

I'm not sure if anyone's done it yet but could someone change the script for resisting to make it work on a controller? The mod is working good so far, just that being able to use it while using my controller would be amazing and I'd greatly appreciate it.

 

I've tried tweaking the settings in order to bypass the whole resist aspect of it but instead my character just dies instead of being raped or gets stuck sitting up.

Damn. I didn't use any tool to install the mod but installed it manually.

And yes I red the first post but the issues started to come up a few weeks ago. I think it was with the last update of DA or maybe this mod - I can't figure it out anymore. That's why I wanted to deinstall both mods one by one to figure out which one was the source of the problems. I hate giving some error reports like "it's broken, fix it" - that doesn't help anyone and won't make the modders work any easier. But at the moment I can't even play the game properly what makes any proper localization of the probplems nearly impossible.

 

It's not that I want to delete Defeat. I appreciate the idea of the mod very well. It's one of my most favorite sexlab mods. But if it's crashing my game like that I won't have another option :(

Likely it is from a DA update then, because Defeat has not been updated in almost 6 months now. Goubo is doing a pretty major rewrite of the Defeat for the next update, which is why it has been so long since the last update.

 

If you installed manually then yes just deactivating the ESP and disabling the MCM doesn't remove the mod so that is likely the issue.

 

I personally don't recommend ever installing mods that are not 100% stable manually for reasons like this. It is much harder to remove mods if you need to later. That is the big benefit of using NMM or MO to install mods, much much easier to remove them if you run into problems and get your game working again.

 

To fix your game you need to either manually remove DA or Defeat completely from the data folder and even then there might be issues as both are scripted mods which can leave behind orphaned scripts sometimes.

 

If you can remove both and get the game playing again, I recommend only reinstalling one of them until the next Defeat update comes out. It should be designed to work with the latest DA and be more stable.

Good to see you're getting your patience back, sometime it does help to rant a little.

 

Defeat does have an option built in to reset itself when things go awry so you might try that as well but...

 

If you've partially uninstalled it you may have to reinstall it to even try that option. Also while people are recommending you ditch DA it too will leave behind hooks and running scripts and all kinds of booby traps that can cause a game to crater later. No scripted mod by any author is going to be completely safe to use and remove because Bethesda made the game to keep all those resources in the save file so they'll persist even if you remove them.

 

There are some tools for cleaning the save files now that you can use but as always your mileage may vary.

Just to add to what WaxenFigure said, there can be other issues when removing DA (though it may not be an issue in the latest version). Basically, if you didn't uninstall Defeat at the same time as uninstalling DA you would (rather strangely) get a ctd when trying to save. I tested this on a new game as well to double check but it was a few versions back.

 

But to be safe remove both Defeat and DA at the same time, save and clean then reinstall Defeat

The update is about a 80% rewrite, but of course there will always be bugs, I obviously can't make my mod so it works with every mod combination & configurations possible, this thing is not possible with skyrim (or because of my script skill lvl? that's a possibility too :P

 

I did work on the DA-Defeat compatibility for the update, it's way more simple now really, DA has a chance to trigger at the end of a Defeat's scene and that's all, Defeat's events being registered to DA they can also trigger through it, I can't guarantee this will be bug free because I know BralorMarr dosen't want me to "hack" his framework by manually triggering blackout events so I'm not sure my method will work 100% but it is just a lot smoother and logical that way and I have no choice anyway since I changed some mechanics in Defeat.

 

 

Aaanyway I wanted to ask you about the SexLab controller and what options I should add to it, for now there is that:

 

Pose selector:

I honestly would not use DA at all, if Defeat had more post-defeat scenarios. Defeat's surrender option, the follower "handling", the fact that you can get knocked down due to stamina loss or power attacks, and the ability to fight back actually makes it the better package.

 

Unfortunately with DA's existence most "post-defeat" mods find it easier to plug into its framework, so we need the Defeat -> DA -> Post-DA event chain. Having DA run just so that Defeat can trigger its blackout event is just overhead...I wonder if Defeat could take up DA's role and bridge to the post-defeat mods?

Better than using DA might be soft linking to the Simple Slavery mod (http://www.loverslab.com/topic/26743-simple-slavery-beta/) and letting it pick a slavery system to follow up. That way you get defeated and raped in Defeat and then sold at an auction into one of the other slavery systems people have come up with.

 

That's a good option too, but what DA does well is to allow probabilities of firing the different events and turning them on/off if they're not working well, which is what Simple Slavery lacks at the moment. If SS could take up that mantle, and also allow for skipping the whole auction thing (because it gets boring eventually) then it becomes a more viable soft link from Defeat.

Technically this is possible in the next update, you can set DA's chance to 100% (this has the priority over defeat's post assault selection system so DA will take over the post assault part including Defeat's events) and then disable the DA's knocking down sequence (This is the main problem for the compatibility between the two mods), but as I said I need to test this a lot more to make sure it works good (so far yes, the player can be abducted by forsworn after Defeat's scene, my left for dead event triggers through DA etc...)

Yeah i would be all for if Defeat had all it's own captures that play on their own. To cut down on the number of mods needed. But if it is easier to use DA or simple slavery I am fine with that too.

How about a "coitus interruptus"-option to end the current animation?

So when activated it switches to the last stage of a random oral/boobjob animation instead of the last stage of the current vaginal/anal animation. 

 

Not sure if this is possible, but it would be a cool feature and might come in handy, when playing with pregnancy mods.. (ok, actually thats not really an effective contraception method, but who cares^^)

 

Anyways, this looks like a really interesting feature.  :)

Defeat will still be able to trigger its events, I've rewritten this two, DA is optional.

You can't test it it's not released yet (in Defeat's update) this has nothing to do with the Nen's pose selector, before it was released I was already working and improving the existing sl controller (the basic one you get by pressing modifier + Action key on npcs having sex if you don't know.)

Oh I thought you was just using parts of Pose Selector, ok I didn't know this was completely yours.

 

In that case some things I think just for defeat that would be nice to have is.

 

Be able to choose groups and then let it be random from there. Like for example.

 

Consensual

then it can choose any consensual act checked in sexlab.

 

or aggressive and the same but then let you select more so

you choose aggressive, then vaginal. so then it only chooses a vaginal aggressive animation.

 

Not sure how hard that would be to code.

 

Or even if there is a MCM menu to be able to choose them by race or something. Like

Orc

Aggresive - anal

 

So then any time a orc is triggered as the aggressor they only choose from aggressive anal as a example.

 

Other possible things is when the PC is the aggressor, have it so you can select a follower if you have one and insure that follower is involved in a 3some.

 

Not sure if any of that is possible since I don't completely yet know how your system works but just tossing out idea's.

Have a very strange issue, and I did not see it addressed in any other topics here.  I'm not even 100% sure it's Defeat that's causing the issue, but based on the actions I think it is.  The issue is I no longer have any hostile humanoid factions.  Bandits, Forsworn, Vampires, you name it, they are all neutral towards me.  What they will do is as soon as they see me, they'll run up to me and then start the taunting / cheering animations like if I was getting raped, but I'm not.  If I have any followers, enemies will attack them, but even if I attack the enemies, they will never attack or rape me.  I've tried the clean option from the mcm menu several times, to no avail.  Anyone have any suggestions as to what would cause that issue?  Thanks in advance.

That sounds like classic case of a corrupted save to me, go back a few saves and see if its still acting up, a lot of things can cause that, without seeing your load order could be anybodies guess to what may have caused it to happen, one cause adding and removing a lot of mods during a play through without testing them on an old save first is a sure way to break it.

Alrighty, I posted here last week, and I'm still having the same problem. I enabled "All Down" for my followers, like the person who replied to me suggested, and it didn't change anything. 

 

My followers (I have two following me due to Amazing Follower Tweaks), when knocked down, get back up and the aggressors ignore them as they take turns on my PC. 

 

So while the aggressors are getting it on with my PC, my followers just stand there and watch. Is there a way to get them to stay down and get used when they get defeated by enemies? 

 

The closest it's ever gotten to the entire party getting raped was the NPC's stripping my followers. After that, they kinda just stand there and walk off.

 

What gives?
