everytime my character auto-surrenders to bandits and gets raped i get a visual c++ error, never had that issue before i started using this mod....

So what is the error and does it point to this mod or some other one? Details are always required.

well, iv already given you all the details i can as its just a basic visual c++ error, but iv removed the mod and am using defeat instead with a new character..

@Ashra, I just watched Brodual's video of that mod and it looks really good - a lot of overlap with SL combat mods!

Oh yeah, I wouldn't necessarily suggest running it alongside mods like this or Sanguine's, but I was merely pointing out that the author claims to differentiate between brawls and regular fights, which is something dkatryl is having trouble finding. Dunno if there's a way to poke at the code and see how it's done, or ask the mod author, but I was just trying to point towards a possible solution.

As Waxen said that doesn't give us much to go on. What would be a lot more helpful is a copy of the Papyrus log from Skyrim. Or even going into your Event Viewer and looking up the critical error that caused the crash. With what you have given us so far, all we can say is. Yep looks like you are having a problem, but with out more information we have no clue what could be the cause.

No one else to my knowledge has reported getting that with this mod, which is why information and details are needed.

Well hopefully it will give Dkatryl a lead to solving it, maybe he can just contact the other mod author and ask him. Seems most mod authors are more than happy to help each other with stuff like that.

(Re-)install all for your OS available Microsoft Visual C++ runtimes (google them).

if this doesn't help, your SxS (sidy-by-side) config may be damaged and repairing this (all tools on the web that tell you they could are sole spam and scam) would take more time then reinstalling Windows.

if you're desperate, you could try reinstalling Skyrim (after re-installing all MS-VC++ RTs) before you reinstall your OS, but chances are low ... but there still is at least one.

I'm having this problem where my surrender won't work. When I surrender the person just stands there after he punches me and then walks away without doing anything and I'm free. When I do this to guards they jail me and then the animation happens in jail but only I am present. The dialogue  sex works fine though

I'm still having this problem =(, Can anyone help me?

What version of the mod are you using?

You should probably enable papyrus logs, go in the game and get to a point where you should be submitting. That'll give the mod author a log of exactly what happened internally at that specific point in time.

That said, and coming from someone (me) who has had issues with the mod before and they are neither the mod or my fault but the game itself's, you should try reinstalling Submit.

A page or two back there are a couple of posts detailing nicely how to do a clean reinstallation of the mod.

Umm... I couldn't find your post, and I don't know how to enable the log =(.  Can you help me please? :P Also I'm using the 11JAN14 version, note: I also upgraded from the 10jan14 version. Other sexlab mods I have is Sexlabnudecreatures, hentaicreatures, sexlab sperm replacer, beastiality animation pack, and zaz animation pack. Also, to note sometimes when I do the auto surrender to someone (not a guard) and I'm in the kneeled position, I get a message "Still in combat" and I stand up again and then let me go.

Here is a copy of my post a few pages back on how to turn on papyrus.

Just turn on Papyrus you can do that by doing this.

Copy these in your skyrim.ini in Documents > My Games > Skyrim >[skyrim.ini]:

[Papyrus]

bEnableLogging=1

bEnableTrace=1

bLoadDebugInformation=1

After you have this new heading and information in your skyrim.ini file you will get a new folder Documents > My Games > Skyrim called logs. Next time you play and this happens, quit the game. Go to that folder and open your last log folder and then copy and past it here in a spoiler tag so Dkatryl can take a look at it.

Is this on a new game or a old save where you was using a previous version of Submit?

Are you using windows 7 ?? from all the tech problem i gadder this is an odd problem with windows 7 windows 8 had this too but it was fixed later windows 7 was never fixed.

search on google C++ runtime error and you would be bombarded with links.

The only way you will fix this either use the option repair or re-install it.

Sudden C++ errors are based on a corrupt SxS config and can (if it's not serious) be repaired by reinstalling/updating all for the used OS available MS VC++ runtimes.

if this doesn't fix the error, the SxS config is seriously damaged and the fastest way to solve this is to reinstall Windows, as all those tools that claim to be able to repair those are just spam and scam. if the SxS config could be repaired this easily, MS would deliver for it a tool as it's crucial for the correct operation of the OS.

Known as Skyrim depends heavily in the VC++ runtimes, hence why it throws out C++ errors so easily.

Another solution is to delete all DLLs and executables from Skyrim and then let Steam redownload them. Can solve some C++ runtim errors as well.

But then again: How did the error come up in the first place? So instead of doing patch work, it's better to solve the source of the error.

as i said, i have only ever had these issues when playing skyrim, and i have tryed in the past to reinstall the MS VC++ Runtimes, but it has never worked, it is skyrim related issue in this case, no other game i have ever played crash with these errors, or crash for that matter... only.... skyrim.... anyway this the end of the discussion for me..

I don't doubt you have an issue, I am just unsure of how Submit would be the cause of that.  From your very brief description, if it happens after you have lost and sex is being triggered, then it sounds more like you are having problems once it is in the realm of the Framework.

Without any relevent logs to see what might be happening under the hood, we're all just guessing, but as this is the first report of this type of error in 6 months of the mod existing, I doubt Submit is the culprit without some other underlying problem.

if he would check the system logs, he could ask google a more specific question.
Or feed google with the error number. Will lead to a lot of sites with solutions and most of them directly from MS.

Cleaning the registry with a good tool (CCleaner, jv16 PowerTools) from time to time is a good idea too, as every SxS folder has an accompanying reg entrie which can and will become obsolete over the time. And i'm sure everyone agrees, that a cluttered folder and registry is not a good thing.

But ya, not caused by any mod unless it manages to really break Papyrus ... which is something i haven't encountered yet as i'm sure the script compiler would refuse to compile such scripts.

Or update to the latest runtime, microsoft does do bug fixes. My VS2010 has had like 3/4 runtime updates.

Another thing is to make sure there aren't any loose scripts floating around.

I've seen the 6035 runtime on a vanilla install - back in the dark ages before I'd heard of modding. Googling told me to uninstall/reinstall the C++ runtimes. I did, no more errors.

Here's something interesting in regards to the Runtime libraries errors:

Just a couple of weeks ago I was testing the mod "Angrim's Apprentice", and every time Angrim would want to trigger a sex scene (scripted through the mod's quest, not triggered by my character), I would either CTD immediately or get a Runtime error. The fix? not taking a follower with me to Angrim's basement.....

On the flip side, starting a game over from scratch got rid of those problems.

I would have to say reinstalling DLLs or Windows and what not is a bit much. I'd probably try to start a new game and see if the issues continue to happen (use the mod Alternate Start to start a new game almost instantly skipping all of the Helgen bs :P).

In my case, my papyrus logs would show a plethora of errors everywhere, even though everything else in my game aside from 'Angrim's Apprentice' was working perfectly.

I guess the bottom-line in my particular case is that no matter how flawlessly Skyrim seems to be running, it doesn't mean it's actually working all that great :P More likely that Skyrim is struggling very hard to actually work at all.

Anyway. I would also suggest sharing your papyrus logs. While it might not give you the very last line that pushes your Skyrim over the line to a crash, it will show you everything that happens before that, and if it's anything like mine it will reveal a thousand things that are wrong in your game lol. Again, that's how my story went :P but logs would probably be a good way to tell if your issues are the same as mine.

i clean my registry everyday, i have checked and tryed every solution from MS, there is no issues with my windows, i use Advanced system care pro everyday to clean my windows of every error it finds, i have spend my intire life working with computers, i know what the issues could be, i have tryed everything, the only solution that remains that is valid is that the problem is with skyrim, my computer and my windows is fine, i never said it had anything to do with Submit, i said it started with submit, it could be skyrim dont like the combination of mods that i have installed i dont know and frankly i dont care, i have had enough of trying to fix skyrim, and as i said i installed Defeat instead and ALL errors disappeared without a trace and no visual c++ errors... so the problem lies with SKYRIM not with submit, but MY skyrim doesnt like submit and it never has, everytime i have installed submit i have had errors with it.... The End!...

If you won't provide papyrus logs, and you have already determined the cause and solution in your mind, then I suppose case closed.  The End!...

...or *is* it?
