Anytime I try to save or change cells (could be on the autosave) I get a CTD if I have recently raped or been raped. I have narrowed it down, it is definitely something about this mod that is causing it. Have tried uninstalling and just using Normal SexLab having sex. No CTD. Installed Defeat, raped and been raped. No CTD. Uninstalled Defeat, Reinstalled Submit. Raped. CTD. Been Raped. CTD. So. Something specifically with this mod is causing problems. Any further advice? Also, I've been using FINIS everytime I install or uninstall something. Using UNPB and SOS.

The save or changing cells sounds like the free camera/rag doll bug that causes CTD's but normally it happens after any sex. Try disable them and see if it fixes it. If that doesn't do it and other mods are working fine then my first guess is you did not do a clean install when updating this mod from a previous version.
dkatryl Posted January 18, 2014 Author Posted January 18, 2014 From everything I can tell, the Brawl stuff is basically handled in the DGIntimidate quest, specifically the DGIntimidateScene scene. This is what handles how bystanders cheer and jeer, checks for illegal weapons/spells, etc. The actual Brawl() function is in the DialogFavorGeneric quest, but even that has comments that say stuff like: ;put this guy into the intimidate quest ; debug.trace ("Intimidate dialogue fragment")(GetOwningQuest() as FavorDialogueScript).Brawl(akSpeaker) But no matter what I do, it seems that the current stage of DGIntimidate is always 0, the opponent alias is always == None, everything I can think of to check always returns none. I've been trying the bard in whiterun (From the Favor013 quest) as well as the unbroken fist fighting chick in the same bar (From the Favor017 quest), and neither seem to give the results I would expect. Super frustrating, it seems like I should have it, but it's eluding me.

Do both of those and creatures will then work, or should work assuming everything is installed correctly.

When you post a reply, just scroll to the bottom and just above where it says add reply. There is a attach files section. Just click browse, find the file and then click attach this file. Easy peasy, ok not that easy cause I couldn't do it at first, until Dkatryl told me it had to be a zip file first but still easy once you know that.

If that is the case, dammit, I was trying to look for that faction on the NPC instead. Gah! Edit: Hrm, well, that didn't seem to do anything when I brawled with the stupid bard in Whiterun.

So ya DK, when I submit, if I'm with a guard it'll just send me to jail and do the animation without anyone. and if it's not a guard they just stop and it says "you are in combat" and I just stand up and walk away log 01.rar
nutluck Posted January 18, 2014 Posted January 18, 2014 Looking at the log it looks a bit like the problem I was having the other day. I was having the same problem where no sex would happen when i tried to submit. I have a question do you have any other mods that allow for sex? If you do then when you trigger those do they work? If you have other mods and they work and submit is not I am thinking very possible you have a dirty save, which is often caused by updating the mod aka uninstall and reinstalling it or a new version with out doing a clean install process.

Not sure if that whole follow thing is broken now for some reason. It was working just fine till I had sex with Delphine. I even restarted my computer to make sure it was her that seems to be causing it.

I killed one of them but the two others hit me at the same time and made me to be knocked down. Probably the same time of knock down me started the issue, because they two, both, at the same time, had sex with me. Not a threesome but TWO different couple sex actions at the same time. Of course, the result was pretty strange, with my char skull fucked by one while the other was "glitched" inside the two of us performing an anal fuck. At the end of the actions, almost at the same time too, one of the attackers ran away to submit a poor merchant passing in that moment. Me, instead to be bounded, kneeled down or something, was totally stuck, standing in front the Formsworn who did absolutely nothing for several minutes. I wasn't able to move, unable to jump, unable to do anything but talk with the bandit (useless dialogue, of course). Cutting away the talk with the "tab" key, made me return in the same "stuck" state. I was about to reload a previous save when the message from Private Needs informed me that I was about to "explode" so I pressed the key to defecate and ........ VOILA'! After that I was free. Totally free! I redress my gears, drawn my weapons and killed the bandit. NOTE IMPORTANT: the bandit didn't react at all while I was hitting him with my sword. He only said "Hey! What are you doing?" like he was my dear old friend. Problem 2: If the "death proof" feature is active while I'm in Werewolf form and (due the fact that Werevolves don't regen their Health) I reach the "0" Health state during combat, my char in werewolf form is totally stuck. This time WITHOUT any solution except to reload a previous save.

Yes....and then the dialogue freezes up and I have to load an earlier save. I've found a similar issue with other NON-vanilla or "unique" voiced NPC's. Vilja's Sindra at the Bard's college also auto-followed me after sex. I'm going to test changing the config of "Puppetmaster" to ensure it isn't conflicting somehow. EDIT - OK....I checked all my config settings on all SexLab mods to ensure nothing might be accidentally getting activated which might force a follow. Then instead of just jumping in with the sex I followed the "Follow me somewhere private" dialogue two times in a row with Sindra and Vilja. Everything went fine and neither one auto-followed me after. Then I went back and followed the regular dialogue and again....no auto-following. Strange. Heading back to see Delphine now. =) EDIT2 - OK....Delphine....success. Except for a very strange falling through the geometry death at the start of the second test, all went well. My only guess is that the forced dialogue pkg that attaches after sex misfired and that's why the NPC was following me......not really sure. I guess I recommend for unique voiced NPC's that you make them follow you first.....then you should be able to do it where ever after that. <shrugs> Fixed on my end at least for now. =) EDIT3 - OK.....got a repeat of the following behavior and it is definitely tied to the post sex dialogue package that forces the npc to say "You've done well." (OR whatever they might say if you didn't) I need to look at the quest and see if I can FORCE the dialogue using the console if it doesn't fire off on its own. EDIT4 - Found the dialogue. It's an _SLSubmitBliss topic I believe but when I forced the NPC to say it to me they didn't stop following. The package must be the problem then. It might have a "MUST COMPLETE" flag which means it won't just go away. It has to be removed somehow.

This time WITHOUT any solution except to reload a previous save. #1 Sounds like a bit of a fluke, unless you can consistently cause 2 to simultaneously do 2 separate 2-ways (Even then, that sounds as much a Framework thing as anything else) #2 Surrender doesn't work while in Werewolf/Vampire Lord form, simply because there is no animation for THOSE forms as the victim, only the victor. I just need to remove the protected flag if you are in those forms and let you die naturally. Either way, you'd be reloading if you reach 0 in those forms.
dkatryl Posted January 18, 2014 Author Posted January 18, 2014 Okay, looking at DGIntimidate, there is a papyrus fragment in the first stage that, among other things, forces the player to equip an item called "Unarmed". It isn't really an item, but it's purpose is to remove weapons/spells from the inventory. The chief difference between THAT and just checking if the player is unarmed is that there is a very specific and unique time when that happens, which is at the start of a brawl. So, I can just do something simply like: Event OnObjectEquipped(Form akBaseObject, ObjectReference akReference) If (akReference.GetBaseObject() == Unarmed) Debug.Notification("Brawling!") Else Debug.Notification("Not Brawling!") EndIf EndEvent And just replace the message strings with a flag that ignores the OnStartBleedout() event stuff from the death proofing and just let the normal Brawl stuff take over.

If you did find a solution, then good job Can't wait to try that out lol Would that modification allow people to use Lovers Victim and Submit? or would it be just a safety measure exclusively for Submit-related things at the end of the brawl? I'm gonna guess it would probably make the two mods finally compatible but, what the hell do I know

This time WITHOUT any solution except to reload a previous save. The first one I have not happen exactly but I did have defeat and submit kick in at the same time. When I use to use defeat for a random chance and submit for a auto surrender at lower health. My guess it was just a rare fluke. As for the bandit I am betting cause of the double hit, it didn't clear one of the bandits, which is why he never reacted to you attacking. Of course that is just a guess.
