Prison Alternative - Punishment Pack

What is This Mod?

An Extension for my Prison Mod "Prison Alternative" which adds new Events to the Experience (work in Progress)

Events are centered around the "punishment" category, i.e Events which will trigger if you misbehave during your prison stay or fail an escape attempt.

 

How to trigger Events

-For potentially deadly events, make sure the "Lethality" option in Prison Alternatives MCM is enabled
-Get Imprisoned
-Misbehave in Prison (attack someone / pickpocket / try to escpape /..... )
-get recaptured

-Profit

 

Available Events

- Cold feet / cold face
(the former needs to trigger first before the later can play. Having a follower with you in Prison is recommended, but not necessary)
- Poke n´pierce
(can trigger everywhere. survival is dependent on what you say and how lucky you are (luck = MCM setting survivalchance))

Requirements

-Prison Alternative (see above), and its requirements.

-Zap8(+) (LE/SSE)

-FNIS

-powerOfThrees papyrus extender (LE / SSE/AE)

-Pama´s Deadly Furniture Scripts (V2.2.1 or higher!)

 

Installation

-Install with Mod manager of your choice and run FNIS/Nemesis

-Run FNIS

-Its recommended to use a new Save.

 

Incompatibilities

-Devious Devices (soft incompatibility. If you know what you are doing, you can use this alongside DD, but it requires caution)

-Devious Cursed Loot (No, just no...)

-Random Sex mods can potentially break scenes (my own mod YARM, is fully save to use, however)

Howdy!

 

The mod is great, however you should add the incompatibilities about any mods that modify the minor town area, such as The Great Cities mods. I have to disable the mod before I try this mod because some areas were change and effected the torturer's walking path.

 

If you'll make this mod compatible with these mod then I'll wait. But if not, then I'll have to disable the cities mod before I try yours for fun.

There is no such thing as static walking paths. You define a target for the NPC and the pathfinding will do its thing. It doesn't matter if the area is different.
I took a quick glance over the maps from the great cities, and every city except Dawnstar should be fine. In dawnstar, its possible that the new ships in the Harbor might block the execution area.

Well, here the problems I've encounter.

Falkreath, the Torturer turn right and stuck at the wall which is between the prison and the execution site. Ironically as when I deactivate the cities mod, the Torturer is turn left and walk along the road instead.

Morthal, when we get out from the barrack, the Torturer is standing, don't make a move, even the path is clear.

Dawnstar, as you said, the expand harbor is block the execution site.

 

I still not try it with The Great City of Solitude mod which is modify the area around outside the city, but I bet it'll not be different.

 

For the rest, it was okay. This is my testing for now.

cold feet needs to trigger first, and lethal events need to be enabled in PA´s MCM

You can use both together. 

 

I think it's just that, because Pama's mods are not written to incorporate the DD technical setup, if you use DDs in your game, then his mods might then not be guaranteed to work with the degree of perfection/flawlessness that he sets out to achieve

 

I'm sure he'll tell me, loud and clear, if that's wrong LOL

Not really a fan of completely wiping player progress, But the Graveyard thing is a interesting idea.

Yea, English is not my first language so I don't know what they call the valuables buried with the dead. Your friend could bury your equipment with you, so no need to wipe progress, maybe even option to track down grave robber for your gear, similar to No death, no idea about the implementation difficulty tho.

The term you're looking for is 'grave goods', and would actually be pretty fitting given the burial crypts we see in Skyrim and a good way to be able to play the lethal events in a way.

 

I mean, it's a miraculous 'act of the gods' kind of thing either way, but it can have other penalties like skill progress loss (as IIRC the skill penalty for being in jail is removed in Prison Alternative) or suffering some debuffs until the player character recovers such as by eight hours of sleep, eating, etc.

 

Of course, that might be more than what Pama wants to do for this, but it definitely is an option that has appeal.

Quick heads-up: your plugin contains ITM records and requires cleaning.

 

Edit: The Prison Alternative main file and Deadly Furnitures also require cleaning.
