philyb Posted February 28, 2024 Posted February 28, 2024 I'll try it out on the weekend when I have some time!
Allen Harris Posted February 28, 2024 Posted February 28, 2024 (edited) Hmmm...I tried it, but the bed at the inn disappears when I drink the gifted wine, and there's no map marker. Edit: Okay, so I tried starting from an earlier save, before I'd received the note from the first courier. That didn't work. Then, I tried uninstalling a bunch of mods that might conflict with it and starting from a new game. That worked. So, the likely causes were: A new game is required (if you'd already had the older version of this mod installed), a new game isn't required if you already completed the first version of this mod (I hadn't played it yet in any of those saves), or there was a mod conflicting with it. Viri1 Posted February 28, 2024 Posted February 28, 2024 (edited) Aaaand I'm already stumped, lmao Spoiler I have removed the ear plugs, and picked up everything I could interact with through the bars, but I can't figure out what to do with them. I suspect there is something we can do with that empty chest, or the ink, but I can't find out. There is probably something we can get Jurgen to do as well. EDIT: Figured out the glass shards. Though I'm not sure how I got the red ball around the lockpick to disappear so that I could pick it. Maybe it was intentional. Anyway, now I'm stumped because the cuffs the gargoyle forced me to place apparently stop me from interacting with the alchemy lab? EDIT2: Ah, got the cuffs off. Ok, now to figure the alchemy out. I'm trying to make potions of resist magic, but the collar still takes over me. Hmm... EDIT3: Ok, this is frustrating. I read the second note and I'm trying out combinations of the various ingredients it mentions, giving an emphasis to the more mundane ones. But I have yet to crack this... EDIT4: I did it! You really gotta search every nook and cranny to find all the notes... EDIT5:... Is there supposed to be screaming in the Living Quarters? Bruh... Edited February 29, 2024 by Viri1
Skiperr Posted February 28, 2024 Posted February 28, 2024 Hi, thank you for mod. There is a trouble with chains that kills fps, does anyone know how to fix it because as I`ve found out it`s widespread problem

iceta Posted February 29, 2024 Posted February 29, 2024 I literally just thought of this mod yesterday, am i a psychic?

Allen Harris Posted February 29, 2024 Posted February 29, 2024 Sooo...first impression having gotten through the first..."test" of the second act - very good work so far. New elements that didn't exist in the game, new dialog choices, the first quest seemed like it ran more smoothly, and very story heavy. Gonna be fun trying to conquer this one!

dank memes Posted February 29, 2024 Posted February 29, 2024 Had an issue where the player remained a ragdoll after the first transition into the cell, but got that fixed after reloading a few times. Got stuck in the initial section Spoiler Found two keys, figured out how to get the orb on the door to go away but couldn't pick the door at all. Reached through the bars to the alchemy section, grabbed everything and consumed a couple of the ingredients, not sure if I'll get stuck once over there without the ingredients?
NightmareMoose Posted February 29, 2024 Posted February 29, 2024 Something seems to be wrong with the first part now. When I go to drink the gifted wine to begin the quest, I get the effects of the wine, but the bed completely disappears so I am unable to sleep for the objective. I did find the bed out of bounds, but sleeping in it only did normal Skyrim sleeping.

How did you Spoiler Open the physical grate that is before the magical barrier when trying to get the sword? I guess there must be a button or chain around I can't find
DayTri Posted February 29, 2024 Posted February 29, 2024 Hit some pacing issues after Spoiler cleansing Azura's shrine Spoiler When exiting, the game prompts you to go get and drink another potion. I had actually already made a second one, which I drank. Then I managed to avoid Walker on my way back to the first area. I realized something was broken and reloaded. Also, before that, I was able to get the sword before cleansing Azura's shrine. I did that because in the gloomy ruin area, you can get the shout which pulls things toward you. I assumed I should be using it (not sure if there is eventually another way to get the sword) Not sure if this is intentional, but the lurkers are able to open the doors for you in the gloomy ruin. That made me skip finding the cat suit solution to opening the first door, which made figuring out how to get through the tentacle mass more confusing than intended I assume. Finally hit what seems like a game breaking bug and had to stop: When Irkhalla set the gem to vibrate and tease me, when she returned, she started the same teasing scene again, instead of going into her next dialogue, I think because of some delay. Then the next time I got the intended progression, but nothing after the dialogue "all you had to do was ask"

I guess there must be a button or chain around I can't find I'm sorry for the unclear answer but: Spoiler I managed to attune the tuning fork, by heating it up, pressing it against the orb thingies, then cooling it down. At least I think that was the order. I ended up with a glowy fork that I then pressed up against the soul gems behind the bars. Mora tentacles begin to appear, but the grand prize appears to be the sword falling into reach. But I have yet to find out what you do with it. 31 minutes ago, DayTri said: Hit some pacing issues after Reveal hidden contents cleansing Azura's shrine Hide contents When exiting, the game prompts you to go get and drink another potion. Spoiler I was looking around for bread when Walker showed up and triggered that whole bit, with me already having the sword *previous* to the Azure shrine. I also skipped the catsuit, getting to the shrine was a chore. I am currently on that part with Irkhalla and I noticed that I repeated the scene, but that was when I decided to go get some sleep. I'll be playing around with that scene, maybe saying "no" skips the whole thing, and I want to check the possibility of us not tying ourselves up when Irkhalla is arriving and hide instead, the dialogue appeared to imply there could be another way... Neither the fire or the forge does anything for me. First place I got stuck at.

But you can break it by exiting dialogue as soon as possible when she returns, it will kickstart the next scene.
qfishq Posted February 29, 2024 Posted February 29, 2024 any tips on what to do after escaping the ear plugs? Hit a wall
Viri1 Posted February 29, 2024 Posted February 29, 2024 Having past the 50% marker, I'm summarizing some feedback, as asked: Spoiler It seems we have some limited ability to warp the order at which things get done, such as when we get the sword. I might have had a bug on the very first red-orb-locked door, with it becoming available to picklock without me putting any bondage items. The creepy shrine of Azura part can be completed without the catsuit, albeit being very difficult. The scene with Irkalla teasing us at the mushroom gets stuck on a loop, requiring a precisely timed dialogue exit to progress. I still have that shimmered sight, after the Azura shrine. Restarting the game, even the computer, does nothing. Blah! As for hints: these puzzles can get frustrating, requiring *very* careful exploration and reading. After several hours of gameplay, it does get a little bit dull. I ultimately set DD struggle and escape difficulty to the easiest, to make things quicker. As for my current progress, or rather, part I'm currently struggling with: Spoiler Stuck on the Trial of the Toy. Both "winning" and "failing" at the game results in quest failure. This one could do with a better hint, but I'll try to explore more thoroughbly before locking myself in.
flinch147 Posted February 29, 2024 Posted February 29, 2024 Pretty impressed overall with 2.0 but there are 2 things which are grinding my gears enough that the experience became tedious instead of fun, for reference I reached Spoiler The step where you are wandering around the cavern to find riddle notes before I just didn't care enough to keep going 1: nowhere near enough light sources. With any lighting mod that makes unlit areas darker, especially while wearing a DD blindfold to make it even worse, it becomes infuriating to pixel hunt items because they are simply not visible 2: Spoiler the bondage barriers are incredibly tedious and need prompts or hints about exactly which items you need. so many of the dd items are mutually exclusive that it takes ages to try the possible combinations, especially before you realise that the items don't need to be properly locked on to count

I agree. I use ELFX... it gets kinda dark. As for the barriers, I've been keeping mental track of which barriers need what. I did not know that last bit, however, thanks.
